Hey guys, ignore the end of the video at 13:32. The other side was supposed to have said he won…late nights editing man. They get to you 😂

a little confused about that Avantgarda turn about 10 minutes in. just reading the cards makes it seem like that turn shouldn't work, but idk if there was something I overlooked.
thanks for the video tho 👍

This is the ideal turn for Avantgarda. Use OG AG skill to place the G2 order into soul. The power won't be there when they ride Richter but it doesn't matter, it's the lingering guard restrict effect they want. Then reveal Richter in hand to ride. Since it has the original abilities of OG AG, they can place another order into soul (ideally the G3 order).
They effectively get to suck 2 orders into soul because Richter is a new different unit that has been place on VG. Hope this makes sense and helps.

Why did you call out crits 2 times? Is it mandatory to call something or you could put everything back?

You can choose not to call anything but I don’t think he wanted to discard a card off of Youthberk’s effect to call nothing, he wanted even a little bit bigger numbers. I don’t know if it was the right move but it was what Steve chose.
