12:40 THis is probablythe best way to rationalize the Uniformers as "the one in the wrong". Basically pushing for a "tier zero format", which, at least in my experience in YGO, it is usually a bad thing
It's the worse in any kind of strategy game of having tier 0 meta; All you see is people using the same strategy over and over again. The same deck, the same units, etc. What I love about Vanguard, despite there's Meta. There's several clans/nations with their own different way of fighting, and even in the same clan there's different mechanics too (ex: Bastion, Youthberk, Alden or Bavsagra, and Nirvana)
I think it's fitting that Full Blast is a Youthberk who doesn't have a mask/face covering helmet because both Raika and Sophie showed their true selves during the fight.
Arguably one of the most anticipated fight of the season. After being humiliatingly barked at by the Witch and look down upon by his idol last season, the gloves (in this case, glasses) are off and Raika is going full force on finding his resolve.
This episode was probably one of most waited and it paid of real well,a full blasting episode. Love how Sophie's behavior turned from disrespect to scary to excited and having fun. Animation of it banging, hope they didnt use all the budget for this episode 😂 Cant believe we came to season final, weeks passed before I knew it. I'm just a bit concerned about deckbuliding ratios to fit in Fullblast, can't say i'm a youthberk player but what i did try out on DD at least with 4 tempest+3gust already felt like my hand was slightly cloggy with too many g3's
It's basically all revolforms in one 15k power, retire, plus one crit and drive. So better than tempest which requires looking at top 2 to retire, better than gust because it gives 15k to entire front row and extra drive, and better than zest because it doesn't need a persona ride to give the power and crit.
@@RedWeeb4926you still play about the same gust ratios since he draws 2 on cb. @@ShinyaMerveilles66 Yeah but you gotta admit they at least could've used a different theme here since this theme was used for the training episode, Danji's fight with Michiru AND Tohya's big fight with Masonri. It's a good climax theme but considering how much it's been used in just the last season and Raika did have an original theme they could've gone for something else, I mean Yu-yu has 2 insert songs just saying
I used "Headbanging" in this episode but Breaking the Rock never happened. Spoilers! Of course Raika wins the fight, pretty obvious, but the back and forth throughout the fight is... something. Now we get to see Sophie's reason for joining Deluxe, she wanted to find a strong opponent who could satisfy her thirst, of course she wasn't able to find someone, (Probably should have gone to JP Deluxe) and because of that she ended up feeling detached towards playing Vanguard, it feels more like she just do it just cause, pretty much giving her own meaning of "Masques" not showing her true self because no one was able to level with her, I can also assume that she would have quit Vanguard altogether at some point, of course until Raika came in to her life. I like how Sophie reacted towards Raika's reasoning for fighting somewhat acknowledging that he isn't the type to just give up and cry, it impress her so much that her "Masques" crumbled showing her true colors, she finally found a fighter that can satisfy her thirst, ...for better or worse. I also liked how Raika talks to Sophie after the fight and acknowledging her as a "fighter" meaning he finally respects her as a proper Cardfighter who fights earnestly and acknowledges the thirst for victory, and the fear of defeat. Now for Youthberk RevolForm: Full Blast, (really wished the Revol name would be wind based, but I guess they ran out of ideas) it's basically all of Raika's RevolForms and results merged into one, plus 15k to front row, crit +1, drive +1, and Chronojet stride ability is definitely strong, the flaws with this though is trying to put Gust, Zest, and Tempest to soul as early as possible to get the full package and also putting this card in the deck, which might have problems with the G3 ratios. Next week is probably the last episode of this season, Yu-yu VS Gui Round 2, Yu-yu is definitely winning and we get to see the new X-Overdress card in action, now time to prepare for "He Said: Full Blast".
My worst fear came true about its effect, that it needed all three of the other forms to activate all its effects. Now the deck biggest issue is deck spacing and how to consistently maximize all its effects. Kind of disappointed. God damn it, this feels really lackluster compared to the new Lianorn. It’s look cool, so I’ll give it that.
You can always be funny and run 4 full blast 4 fergossa, 4 nemain/drilling and 1 of each revolforms if you manage to hit 2 and a revoldress not named full blast you'll be fine at worst just get gust and zest and you'll be fine. 1 drive and 1 crit is fine even if you miss out on the 15k
@@nekoluxuria7721but that is so much set up just to use all of Fullblast effect just once for one turn. I’d rather not replace all of my current G2 for ones that help Fullblast’s shortcomings and that is he can’t do jack by himself. I just wish his effect was a standalone effect. Meaning he doesn’t need any of the other revolform’s as a cost. This episode in my opinion was good, but waiting for the reveal of Fullblast and what its effect could be ended up in disappointment. He can be “Full”-blast in the anime all he wants, but in real game, he’s “Barely”-blast. I don’t mean to sound negative or as hater, but this card is just really underwhelming.
@@iconic8986 Nah you're just spitting facts. Its strong but really bricky. And getting the +15k is the most important thing since its a huge power boost. Let's see how people make it work
@@iqhmalReduxits has the potential to be a turn 4 card. I say that because you might get that new G2 that lets you put a revolform in the soul and drilling angel both in hand. But then we gotta also hope that you have a revolform to discard for drilling angel to work. But at most, this card is a turn 5 or 6 most of the time and you just cannot afford that, considering how strong other decks are getting even before their turn 5 or 6 (Gandeeva for an example). I love Youthberk, but this card is absolute garbage.

Raika has a point. The "limit" of a game being reached can be seen in games like Yu-gi-oh. It's just....BAD now. The "meta" is basically "tier 0 or bust", with no diversity or room for variety, growth or evolution. Each and every set released feels like more of the same, but less balanced and with even LESS room for fun. There's no way to have two-way fun AND get better at the game. The Uniformers represent the direction/end a game can take/have not unlike Yu-Gi-Oh.
Someone already did a good review over this episode in the comments but I'll say this Sophie went a bit loko on me and I don't know how to feel about it

That’s it? We’ve waited all this time just for that? We’ve waited all this just for that? Not gonna lie, this effect feels really lackluster compared to the new Lianorn’s Vivace effect.
@@iconic8986 Youthberk doing 3 attacks on its own sounds game breaking, and for no reason. I think we've failed to realize that. And compared to Vivace, Fullblast could be turbo'd out with all 3 Revolforms in soul thanks to Fergosa and Drilling Angel

The whole uniformers thing was thrown in last second.
The live chat is so disappointing...its all "Sequana this", "Sequana that". Sure, Raika "needs" it as much as any other Youthberk user, but he proves it's not a requirement to win.
Is there anyone else or just me that really ships Raika x sophie? It's like a toxic pet owner with a dog that bites back. I wanna see more of these two interacting in the later seasons.
@@ChunniTensei I was implying that they had good chemistry together, Sophie is a distant genius/loner type who is generally apathetic and often looks down on others thus making her hard to approach / be friends to. Meanwhile Raika here is just an edgy albeit earnest, 14yr old who's just tryna drive a point to her that she shouldn't look down on a cardgame that he's passionate about, and trying her feel the same excitment too when he cardfights. Raika's earnest nature allows him to cut through Sophie's bullcr#p and bad personality because he just doesn't care. he wants to win and prove that his hobby ain't bland. Which is kinda like. in a weird way, what being someone's friend is about. (as oppose to say, well-accquainted/good-accquaintances) Friends don't really care about the other guy being a d*ck to them (unless they really crossed the line) and I think Raika is one of the rare person if not the only person that can tolerate Sophie's bad personality in this cast. Hence the word 'ship', they get along well with each other. Hell, maybe it was my bad to use the word 'ship' the first place since it does imply something romantic as in my mind i always thought ships are something more harmless/platonic on the side that goes "kyaa XD." rather than say as to 'they're getting it on' If it was the Toxic part or pet owner giving you twisted idea vibes then that'd be my bad for not thinking of a better analogy, maybe the better word would be asshole pet owner. Seeing you starting mentioning numbers has me worried you gravitated towards something different since the show made Sophie mock Raika's Chuunibyou-ness by going woof woof at him hence the pet owner analogy I probably didn't need to write a essay about it knowing it's the internet but screw me for being distracted yt comment way more than I need to >

She just didnt care unless she fought strong opponents or thought no one was as good as her, so whats the point of putting in effort in weak players. Hence raika calling her out on not being a fighter. Raika was trying to ignore Sophia annoying behavior until he saw she was actually having fun and had fear of losing and wanting to win.

Next week is probably the last episode of this season, Yu-yu VS Gui Round 2, Yu-yu is definitely winning and we get to see the new X-Overdress card in action, now time to prepare for "He Said: Full Blast".
actually 1 more after it.
@@calebjacobson3139 Wait you mean there's an episode 13?
Youthberk learned how to use a nuke.
@@iconic8986 full blast only cares if you have them for soul, so it is the entire game assuming you didn't get marked. Still not as good as a sequana fed tempest on every turn. But that's something.
IT'S TIME TO DESTRUCT THE HEAVENS!!!
he dosen t need to anymore he has an alliance with the heavens
@@youthberktempestWith the Good Heavens. He needs to bring down the starry heavens.
Please dont give up on this anime i still want it to live not like buddyfith but you know when thre are still peaple ho support you there still hope i will not give up on this anime so you cant to so keep ding your best because were still here so dont give up
Bruh. Sophie is going to be a yandere if this goes on
Man i love witch girl she remind me alot of Ren but not as evil as season 1 Ren and not as chill in the other season
Youthberk Revorform Full Blast, it's a new power on someone can evolve his deck plus the fighter can fight for longer Plus his deck evolved become a strategies for saving the word for example Raika used Youthberk Revorform Full blast
In hindsight the concept of sophie is just sad ...
When your so good at everything, why try your hardest what's even the point
The idea hurts
0 in hand, broken field vs full field and 8 in hand. No way you can come ba... wait not that song! Stop!
My turn!
I am the storm that is approaching!
Raika smiling as if he didn't just make his future bleaker by setting off ALL the flags with an almost sociopathic Vanguard Fighter.
Kamui is looking at you with yes full of sympathy Raika, godspeed you glorious idiots
Very disappointed for new Revolform. Are you kidding me bushi ????
22:57 close your eyes and it will seem like something else
I think Sophie low key has a thing for Raika
And next week we finally see the new vairina and Nirvana.
Wrong! The card itself will be shown next Tuesday.
@@kodokutamashi1569 but it'll be revealed in the episode.
cos it's the final episode of Will dress Season 3.
then after that is WillDress D-2
@@Yusei255 The stream already confirmed that Stravairina will be revealed together with Full Blast.
@@kodokutamashi1569 ahh ok, the new vairina and Nirvana better be good, cos next week is the final episode of will dress, and of Yu-Yu and friends
So likely no more Vairina's
Where is my "Breaking the ROCK!!" ???😢
After unison dress, full blast is kind of a disappointment
ah come on bro take your negativist ass out of this series
They could've end it with Raika drawing TRIPLE CRITS to end Sophie just for the irony.
Ha....anyways, nice fight.
Noooo need Breaking The Rock"🗿🗿🗿
When raika got gust in his soul?
See 7:32
Thx man
He used the new support g2 Ferugosa that allowed him to put Gust from drop into soul during his Tempest turn
Someone already did a good review over this episode in the comments but I'll say this Sophie went a bit loko on me and I don't know how to feel about it
Hand: [ACT]:X-Revoldress: (CB 1 & SB 1 “Revolform”) After your VG with “Revolform” attacks, you may pay the cost. If you do, you may ride this card as [stand]. (You may perform X-Revoldress once per turn)
[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (VC) by the “X-Revoldress” ability, if your opponent VG is G3 or greater, activate persona ride’. For this turn, this unit gains: “When this unit attacks, your opponent may not use blitz orders and call cards with [sentinel] to the G circle”.
[AUTO](VC):At the end of your turn, choose a card with the “Revoldress” ability from your soul, and ride it as [Rest].
So... just battledore effect.
I don't think it will activate persona ride, considering the trend the new cards (Vartex and Vivace) are following.
That’s it? We’ve waited all this time just for that? We’ve waited all this just for that? Not gonna lie, this effect feels really lackluster compared to the new Lianorn’s Vivace effect.
@@iconic8986 Its on theme though. Youthberk is mainly about hitting hard, while Lianorn Vivace takes Lianorn's base ability to the logical max.
They didnt play his theme song
What a huge L
Are they going to pull a the end of g era where its 3v1 lmao
Uff muy buen duelo, muy interesante el revol dress
Stand up, the Vanguard
Hopefully Yuyu gets over himself during his final bout with Gui. As Shirogane said, Yu has been annoyingly arrogant this season.
Yu-Yu is only going to win because he is the MC and the MC has to always defeat the big bad guy at the end because of plot.
Honestly Yu-yu becoming arrogant was expected since Gui destroyed him in thier first fight.
@@Blue-Code No, it's just lazy writing
@@KesslerVTuber can you explain on why the writing is lazy?
I'm not going to hate on you for it, but just curious on why would you think that.
@@Blue-Code because it made him unlikeable and not learn from it. "Oh he realized he is like the uniformers" so he realized he is playing the game like a meta player? Why didn't he realize this before hand? Oh right. Because he was too busy doing chores with Danji instead of practicing his deck and what needs to be improved in it and what ratios to use and to know his matchups. The whole uniformers thing was thrown in last second.
New youthberk drop for those who don’t know or couldn’t tell
Somebody is gonna get clapped this ep
I'm starting to get yandere vibes from Sophie. Raika better be careful or he might end up getting kidnapped.
The live chat is so disappointing...its all "Sequana this", "Sequana that". Sure, Raika "needs" it as much as any other Youthberk user, but he proves it's not a requirement to win.
Such a letdown for youthberk, not even breaking the rock
Is there anyone else or just me that really ships Raika x sophie? It's like a toxic pet owner with a dog that bites back. I wanna see more of these two interacting in the later seasons.
Sir he's 16...
Shes in her 20's
@@ChunniTenseiexactly. He is not even close to being an adult. She is beyond 20. She is 23.
Hell, maybe it was my bad to use the word 'ship' the first place since it does imply something romantic as in my mind i always thought ships are something more harmless/platonic on the side that goes "kyaa XD." rather than say as to 'they're getting it on'
If it was the Toxic part or pet owner giving you twisted idea vibes then that'd be my bad for not thinking of a better analogy, maybe the better word would be asshole pet owner. Seeing you starting mentioning numbers has me worried you gravitated towards something different since the show made Sophie mock Raika's Chuunibyou-ness by going woof woof at him hence the pet owner analogy
I probably didn't need to write a essay about it knowing it's the internet but screw me for being distracted yt comment way more than I need to >
@@RedWeeb4926 sir, i am not reading this essay of yours. All im saying is shipping a child with an grown woman is weird. If your saying they have good chemistry. Just say that. You didnt have to ship them. Putting and "x" in the middle of 2 names is shipping.
@@RedWeeb4926 i actually sat down and read it ( im bored ).
Most people say ship or shipping in a Non-Plotonic way.
Sophia wasnt shitting on vanguard. She just didnt care unless she fought strong opponents or thought no one was as good as her, so whats the point of putting in effort in weak players. Hence raika calling her out on not being a fighter.
Raika was trying to ignore Sophia annoying behavior until he saw she was actually having fun and had fear of losing and wanting to win.
bruh someone call 911 for that woman
in order to progress sophie bell has to lose, and to be honest, it's going to feel really good because of how she acts as a human being
Sophie will lose this fight for sure.
Raika's spear penetrated Sophie Belle alas
Waiting for the Indonesian sub to be released
ain't no way yuyu just got a new card without train with it then next won against gui while he lost to zakuza with full train_.
Full blast looks a bit like neuvillette from genshin impact
Full blast was awsome but lianorn vivace is still the most op by far
Ignis totally incinerate Vivace to cinders. But he is still slower than Masques.
Oh yes

I ship this couple tho
I think Raika may actually lose here…
I feel like he still needs more growth as a character.
