He made a smart decision. imo somebody needs to call it after that many run ats. its tough but especially when all their runs are correct speed and they're not going, it means they're likely going to micro adjust when they finally hit it (usually too fast, but of course sometimes too slow, especially on a 40). also as he mentioned I don't like towing in for these things. I just want to watch others go, listen to their bike, and trust my own speed. Can't wait to see the vid when he eventually goes and greases it.
I feel you bro. That's a massive booter. I'm actually impressed Daniel is sending that after only been riding a few years. Table tops are one thing but getting over the fear of a gap that big is hectic.
@@BIRDDZ_ No doubt. It's unfortunate we don't have well funded MTB specific trail centers with progressive jump lines like the pnw or other places. The MTB alliance guys do a fantastic job but it's quite a big step up from anything else around and trusting things outside of their builds can be daunting!!
