There's a difference between being a comedian and being naturally sharp as a tack. She's the latter. She just has that naturally fast comedic brain and I'm so jealous of all those who have that gift.

For a US talk show, this was super long and deep.

It reminds me of the Christmas episode where they hang out in the hotel room and sing quick carols to the staff when they come in to do tasks 😆

@@mvubu6823 Thats mainly down to Americans having a dull sense of humour. They'd rather clap themselves on a gameshow for answering with the wrong answer than experiencing great comedy.
Aisling is effortlessly funny. And does so without offending ppl. Self depreciation, making jokes about absurd things. She a class act.

After seeing her in a few late night shows interviews I'm pretty sure she would be an amazing TV comedy host herself.
She naturally brings great intelligence and warmth to her humour, one of the best out there.

Sean Hayes is awesome guy, and I have seen Aisling so many times in Qi. Very hilarious pair this. 😅
He really makes a great host and I think he helped make Aisling be more effective on this bit because he just let her talk and (unlike a lot of other talk show hosts) let the guest be the star of the segment. He pipes in from time to time to convey interest, and it really helps the flow of the conversation. Of course it does help that Aisling can talk the whole show if he let her to 😅
The mark of a talented comic - able to take this frustrating and terrible situation and turn it into a comedy opportunity.

Good old Aisling, hilarious and talented as they come.
Not 100% sure, but I think she may be one of the most brilliant performers of “our day” - naturally hilarious - in a smart and witty way, yet can also break your heart with her sincerity and sweetness. Clearly she has a beautiful singing voice and likely has a multitude of other talents. I have enjoyed anything I can find that she is in…including talk shows!
Same, I respect her a lot more than comedians who think they have to be edgy and bullying to be funny.
First saw her on Taskmaster Season 5 and fell in love. Awesome talent and super funny!

The "gasoline prices" comment shows just how insulated America is (as evidenced in the "World Series" of baseball...) - gas prices are higher across the world - the US is actually one of the countries who has increased the least.
Right, I'm in Ireland and it's €2:15 per litre, that works out at about $10 a gallon.
FYI the reason the World series is so called is that the "The World" newspaper sponsored the inaugural series
