There were some Class A honorable mentions and Top Debuts, but not in the top five finalists. We have the whole list at our blog post at www.rvlove.com/rvoftheyear2022

The Class A market is the only segment of the RV industry that isn't really showing appreciable growth. With all the issues with the DEF systems on the Cummins Diesel engines Class A motorhomes are really a segment that's not a go to at this time.

@@StressLessCamping I see. I don’t own, or will ever own, a DP. For me, they are too big, have “old” floor plans, usually has interior step, and most of all they are way too expensive, to purchase, maintain, and service. I understand the DP power, and travel comfort. But DP’s are expensive to park. This is just my opinion and everyone has one. Lol

If RV of the year isn’t the ESCAPE 5.0TA molded Fibreglass trailer built factory direct in British Columbia, then your biased to the big manufacturers that are your biggest advertisers. Built like a boat and doesn’t leak and little depreciation. Quality is top notch. I had an Escape 17B and now own the Escape 19. I have owned a StarCraft, Fleetwood and Forest River and quality was horrible.

Hi Doug, maybe I am missing something, but I didn't think that the Escape 5.0 was a new model this year. The focus of the awards is on new releases for the year. I agree that Escape seems to make a really good unit. Maybe their new E23 model would have been considered since it is new, but perhaps they were not able to get a unit in front of the team in time for the decisions. All I know is that I don't have all the answers, and that the units we saw for the five finalists were all pretty impressive and innovative new models. Either way, hope you continue to enjoy your Escapes. Thank you -M
