Jeep Camping - Living In My Jeep Wrangler MY SETUP!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 жов 2024
- I know I already did a video a couple of months ago when I was originally building out my jeep. But, since I have started my traveling and been officially living in my jeep... it's been a learning process. So, I have changed alot and probably will still continue to switch things around. But I am pretty happy with how I have it right now. I still have my tent with me also, but I have realized that I feel alot more cozy and safer sleeping in my jeep. But, it's good to have the tent also.

Oh my gosh I can't get over how much she loves you you can tell in her little eyes she's so adorable
Same look my wife's been giving me for 35 years! 😉
The first minute of this is a simple masterpiece.
Its ALL good, Jeepsy. Nice to see you smiling and happy. Rock on!!!!
About camping alone... the advantage is doing whatever you are more comfortable with. One lone female vanlifer I follow even went to a clothing optional campground and went au natural . LOL Its your trip, you do what you want to do and enjoy yourself.
Happy the tailgate table worked out 🙂✌️
So I’m just discovering you. Digging your videos. So authentic. Please don’t ever stop posting lol…You’ve been brightening my days lately…Nice jeep too! You’ve done a lot of work to it. Must’ve cost a fortune. I’ve got a Rubi 2015 4 door. You inspire me to get my act together & do what you’ve done with my Jeep too. If only it were so easy. Cute dog!!
I'm in a '99 E150 triton van full solar with my Jackeries 160 (2) & an ecoflow. I am always changing things. It's so much fun with my 2 toy Terriers!
I remember 5 years ago when I just threw all my essentials into the Bebop , I was sleeping on an air foam mattress on the cargo bed of the van with all my stuff on top of it in strategic ways that to keep it from toppling over while driving .
5 years and a lot of trial and error and watching UA-cam tutorial videos from people in the stealth van community and I've got a pretty reasonable set up right now !
I can see your on the same path , good job baby sister !
As an impromptu Emissary of the stealth van community I welcome you from the off-road Jeep community ! 🤗❤
I suppose we could give you the subcategory of 'stealth Jeep living' !
Sidenote , I use a Predator generator to charge my jackery 500 however I think there's a way to hook an inverter up to your Jeeps battery so it can charge your system while running your Jeep at idle or while driving !
I have to look more into it but it's something to think about if you feel mechanically inclined !
Well, your starting to see that the Jeep is way more protective than the tent .. in a major big storm I've seen tents and roof top tents go flying! I do take a different tack then you on covering windows. I don't because I want to see what coming or what's out there. The tent is a good idea for you .. I don't need that much to change being an old guy .. nobody pays attention .. LOL One idea, if you haven't done it already is to take all the things you don't need in the Jeep and store them in the tent! Having the most room for yourself is necessary for living in the small space. You'll find that you will continually change things as new ideas emerge .. part of the fun! 🤠
Oops! I forgot to mention a stove I use. I see you blocking your stove from the wind 'Come on .. boil damit' .. Had the same frustration, especially making coffee, you know how important that is! If your budget allows take a look at a JetBoil .. that's what I now use and it's the stove I use the most. Usually my dry meals just take hot water. 🤠
😮

I think if the weather and your fridge are the worst problems you have to deal with while living in your jeep……with adoration from lil one….you’ve got this beat!! To me looks like heaven. Take care, enjoy the sound of the rain, stay warm and dry. ❤️❤️❤️
Look how adorable lil pup is
Lil One is living her best life. Safe travels along your adventures.
That was your private little grand canyon! Would have been nicer without the clouds and cold for sure. But I've yet to find that weather control switch!🤣 Lil One loves her Mom!❤️
Lil One is so freaking adorable! Makes me miss my chihuahua “Ripley” who passed a few months ago and left a huge hole in our hearts.
Thank you fo being the one person I can find with a fastback softtop setup
Stay safe & above all ENJOY! With the world being such a crazy place these days please be extra careful! You’ve got a great setup. Nothing better than you & Little One seeing the country!
Your fur baby is so precious. Where is your trailer? It’s going to be cold soon. It’s already 52 here in Texas this evening. It’s going to be so cold. You and your baby are going to get cold.
Good set up but hey you should get an off-road teardrop, you would be in heaven
Pretty place. Lil one's so cute. My cat is bigger! Took him camping but he kept running away so i should have gone by myself. Thank you
IT IS 5:30 am in Everett, Wash. and I just watched Sarah Jane's latest Wed. post. She has a shower bag that she filled up with Colorado River Water, lets
the bag heat up in the sun so by the end of the day - hopefully - it is warm enough to wash her hair and shower no matter where you are. Sounds like a
handy item to have when camping for a long period.
you and little one are so cute keep your spirits up Sarah
probably the only one who didn’t say be safe cause you explained that you are being safe just have fun and use the brain we both know you have
I too want to travel/live in a Jeep. My pup, my bows and arrows, and shoot at different Archery Clubs and Archery Tournaments, around the USA
The Jeeps are great, I love mine. You should take a trip to the Aztec NM area. Lots of BLM and access trails because of the gas/oil industry. This place is a gem.
Not going to lie, that opening made me cry this morning when I woke up. My Izzy girl used to ride in the exact same spot back when I had my K10 4x4. I sure miss her. Happy Trails Jeepsy. Enjoying your vids.
First time viewing your channel. I have a Jeep and an adventure bike. I lived in Utah back in the 70's. Beautiful country! I can understand the comfort and security advantages of the Jeep. I believe you have everything you need. The only thing missing is a flushing toilet. I am a dog lover and your friend makes all the difference. Great Jeep and setup! I will be checking your earlier videos. Stay safe.
Thanks for the Jeep tour Sarah. Good to see you're happy and feel safe with sleeping in the Jeep. Hope the sun will eventually show up for you and the rain stays away. Lil One craves her momma's attention, so cute. 🙂 💙 🚙
Life is better with a friend! Lil One is a cute One!❤
Hope that you are having fun Sarah and thank for sharing and stay safe.
Nice setup Sarah ,it does look cozy in jeep ,
I'm getting ready to buy a new jeep and Hiker Trailer .
And , do a little traveling myself ? Maybe, we'll meet out there somewhere. Be safe and have fun 👍
Thanks for sharing
The opening with you and lil one was fucking adorable. The video and sound is so much better from when ya first got started!!!
I own a Chiweenie and he sits in that same spot and watches me too :D Love it.
So...I work my nine to five. Actually it's 6 am until 2: 30pm. I wake up at 4:30am. Do my thing and drive in traffic and start dealing with the daily issues at work. It is my get away to watch you and your buddies out in the wild...sort of wild. Everything has its good and bad- doesn't it.
Maybe one day I could pull up a chair and we would tell each the most wonderful stories. ❤️
Looks like your a Sheriff with those Ranger badges behind your windshield 6:37. OK, I won't mess with you then. Window netting, a good idea
Hi Sarah.Good to see you and Lil One. You both be safe out there. Love your videos
I am sure you know they make stand up showers that you could use instead of your tent. They would be much easier to set up and actually shower in.
17:00 Little One's absolute love for you.... thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Your new home will always have a view.
Hi Sarah👋 ad'door'able pup🥰 just found your Bob Wells vid and came over before the vid finished to say hi and find out about this fridge u have that sips 2w🤯🤷♂️👍
True personalities come out when you travel, you and little bit sure are bonded.... it's endearing, Yóur setup insulates, has easy access to all your gear. Greàt job !
Happy Trails finding the sun,.. it's getting back at us for saying "it's too dang hot"
all summer
Lil One is such a cutie, just sitting there chilling out. Stay safe out there Sarah 🙏
So adorable!! My 2 little ones right in the same exact spot as yours does nobody gives animals as much credit as they deserve they totally make life a lot better how cute she's so cute
The lil one was cruising, love taking my lil one cruising the same way....enjoying your videos, Stay Safe...
So cute, lil one staring at you while you drive, lol adorable! nice setup in the jeep and the outside accommodations.
Those chairs are comfortable, I bought four of them 👍
You are fearless!!
Precious dog
How can you not love this
You are doing a good job Wandering Jeepsy. Maybe Lil One is watching the scenery or the passing parade. You and Lil One seem to be adapting well to your temporary wandering life.
What a beautiful view to have with your morning coffee😊
Hot water bottles come in handy when really cold. My little dog used to sleep right on top of it.
Like a little water bed...lol
I camp in my Jeep when I go hiking. Great
Hi Sarah, yep so many clouds in your recent vids, hoping for some sunshine. You are getting road life dialed in. Thanks for sharing, be well. Dino
Nice setup! Everything a "wandering" woman needs to spend time in nature. Happy travels!
I just completed a +10000 mile road trip and mostly lived in my Jeep and sometimes in my tent. I have been learning how to live/camp in reasonable comfort in my Jeep. After some trial error, I figured most of it out.
I like the option of being able to sleep in my Jeep as well as in my tent. All I need is my Jackery 1000, a 12VDC clip-on variable fan, a 500 watt electric heater, a 3-inch memory foam mattress (that rolls up), zero-degree sleeping bag, backpack that contains clothes and hiking gear, and a cooler for food and drinks and my small stove and utensils. (Considering a refrigerator)
The foam mattress is the star of the show as it fits perfectly and is very comfortable.
After watching your video, I would like to get one of those hanging storage containers.
I am 6'2" so I have to sleep with my head at the rear window so that I can extend my legs between the front seats if I want to stretch out.
I like your set up and I love your Jeep.
Great video! 🙏
Oh wow 6'2?!! I'm lucky that I'm short, I fit in my jeep perfectly! Thank you for sharing all this. I just sub'd to your channel. Gonna check it out when I have better service!
I like to set up a canopy behind my suv and I've got space for everything and it is easy to go up and down.
Can't send a picture.
Lookin good ! Soo happy for you . Yer smile is heartwarming. Happy Trails !
That little dog reminds me of a K-9 version of Yoda. Hella cute. 😅
Good thing you 2 are both lil ones! 😀More serious - some people take centering, spiritual journeys at retreat centers. Your retreat center is the great outdoors! Splendid! Grand! Enjoy the showers of blessings! Best regards!
It may be cloudy, but the views are beautiful, awesome set up for your Jeep. Stay safe and God bless you and your sweet dog, love Bones 😊
Thank you for sharing your journey and a glimpse in to your world hugs to you and lil one 😇
I use it for bathroom and dressing but I got me a smaller thing to do that now. But I got the idea from u tho so thank u because u definitely help me with your ideas
Lilone is looking pretty happy and the jeep looks real cozy have fun and be safe. Love your Chanel Sarah talk with you on your next adventure 👍❤️😎
Great place and a great set-up; you two stay safe and thanks for the lift😎😎👌👌⭐️⭐️👍👍🤩🤩
😍😍😍 my dream car .
Huge adventure !! 🙌🏻
@17:06 🥰👍 unconditional love, thanks for the upload
Great intro with your lil one. So cool and funny. Keep up the good work, we appreciate you!
The way the Little One is looking at you, it appears he needs a tasty dog treat soon!!
Cooler tip: get a tub, or two tubs, that you can fit a bag of ice in. This keeps the meltwater out of your food.
Plug-in coolers are much nicer though, and you don’t have to keep buying ice. Although in a pinch you can use ice in one of those.
The jeep looks so cozy!
Thanks for the tour of your house on wheels. Looks very efficient to me. Sure, hope you can have some beautiful sunny days for your trip. I am truthfully not much of a pet person but Little one is a cutie. Stay safe and looking forward to the next time.😊😊😾.
Hey! You might have already addressed this or I maybe missed it but have you considered putting on a hardtop with a roof mounted tent? You can even get a shelter that mounts on the rear of the jeep that provides you with a small area to shelter from rain, etc. Also the hardtop would be safer and have more storage options. Just my opinion of course…
🤘🤘
Roof rack temps are EXPENSIVE as a standard though so that could well be a reason for avoidance. A quality one starts at around 1500 USD, not a cheap investment!
They sure are comfortable though, that’s for sure.
Your having fun. 😉
Looks like your jeep is set up pretty handy. 😍
Such an amazing and beautiful journey you are on Sarah !! We all should be so lucky ! Glad you are taking us along with you ! Your set up...both the Jeep and tent are awesome !! Gotta say...Lil one sure loves her Mama and visa versa ! ❤❤So very sweet ! 💋
CUDOS to staying off the grid mate. Ditch that tent though, as they can be a real pain in the arse. I believe, in the land of the long white cloud, you have truck stops, with showers etc? Definately a better option me thinks?? Stay safe out there mate. It is, as others have suggested, an increasingly more dangerous world.
I sleep in the back of my jk...its very cozy and I sleep very good...I have made vents for my back door windows so no bugs get inside and some air flow...and yes safe inside then a tent...depending where ya camp...wildlife...I keep my little guy on a leash and put his little bed under the back of my jeep so he is out of any sun and safe from hawks...overall your set up works for just the 2 of ya.👍..
She loves you more than anything in the world.
I got door nets but love yours
Nice setup. Hopefully, you can stretch out fully in that bed. For me, I can't sleep if I have to bend my legs.
Happy to see that you are doing good on your travel
I agree, if sleeping in the Jeep is comfy and you feel protected it's a good choice. When I was younger I would put up the tent if I were staying in an area for a few days. If only one nite I'd sleep in my truck which had a thick foam pad and it was easier to have a relaxing morning and leave early. But I also enjoyed sleeping on the earth many nights, so it was based on choice. Lil one looks like wherever you are she is happy. Enjoy the journey rain or shine! (Rainy days are good for inner exploration and getting total rest.)
As I said before. Fall. The weather is transitioning. As long as you are in Mountain terrain you'll be dealing with rain/ snow, and of course cold. I'd trade places with you in a heartbeat just to gain some peace of mind and being alone . Enjoy it, embrace it and there will be some lovely days to come.
I love the jeep set up but its always good to have backup tent.
look at ursa minor or hatchet overland it a roof top tent built into jeep tops
Love the set up! ❤
Awesome setup. 😀
Hi Sarah glad to see things going good it is good that you are adapting and changing as you go Trust your intuition it will be right most the time. Hi to Lil One stay safe have fun till next time
Like any house, you live in it for awhile and certain things irk you and you change them.
A good nights sleep IS magic.
Your so good at what you do I always love your work. I live for the next one see you then
✌️thanks for sharing and beautiful views- love Fall 💚💚💚
Tooo cute! Peaceful….
Love your setup!! Have you considered a pop up shower tent? I believe you can get them as a double so you would have extra room to change and have a shower if you wanted one without having to go through the process of setting up a tent. I just found your channel! I’m looking forward to catching up and following along 😁 safe travels
Lucky dog!… gets to travel all over with you😘👍!!
watched from Bryan TX
Yes, the jeep is a lot safer. Not just for you. But little one as well. Keep an eye on the weather, and enjoy yourself.
Great work... thanks
Thank You for the view Beautiful Lady. Your presence makes all of it Gorgeous!
Lil One looks happy with her Mommy and traveling, I'm happy for you both. My baker style tent could be setup with our exploder backed up to the tarp so my kids and I didn't have to unpack much getting to our canoe camping put-ins. With the tarp I use now it sometimes fills the space between my motorcycle and tent or gives me extra shade in hot weather. It's an 11' long sexagon shaped tarp with two collapsing poles and plenty of guy lines. Just a thought for behind your jeep Sarah.
Please stay safe and be careful hiking, we'd all hate to have you hurt.
You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
Thank You Sarah I don't need to see if you liked a comment, I pray I never upset you! I am just sending you love, prayers, support and respect.
Great video
Great relaxing content. Love your set up and organizational skills. Be safe! ☮️🌞
Yes do keep an eye on the weather it can be your best friend or your worst enemy but that is some beautiful place to do self-reflection and little one reminds me of my little Chihuahua I had everyone said his little nose was shaped like a heart and I was looking at little ones I think hers is too you should look and see if her little nose is shaped like a heart making the best of it is not making a lifestyle but you have great views maybe photography painting Rock hunting you'll figure it out 👌😁🐝
