@@str8shogun yeah first thing I did was swap to knock off PZ27 carb and it solved that issue

@Bingo_Bango_69 do you have a link for the knockoff? Or at least point me in the right direction ex: Amazon , ebay

Did you have to swap out the throttle cable too?@Bingo_Bango_69

@str8shogun on Amazon or ebay just look up PZ27 carb and theyre all 27mm knock off keihins it doesn't really matter which one they all will work the only difference is the different universal hoses filters that will be included. For the throttle cable, I used the original BUT HIGHLY RECOMMEND you buy a 40" nibbi universal throttle cable. The cap to the carb is a fitting pressed into the cable so you have to very extremely carefully cut that cap off with a dremel and hope you don't knick the actual cable.

I need to learn how to wheelie lol. What all do you have done to yours?

@DSteel5408 PZ27 knockoff carb upgrade, Tusk Chub bars with risers/adapters for 1-1/8", and oversized dirtbike footpegs. Wheelies with the XR150 takes a lot of confidence because of how underpowered they are. You really need to be familiar with modulation of the back brake and getting used to sitting at balance point. It takes a lot of practice, and learning the basics on a smaller/lighter bike will help translate to the XR.

@@Bingo_Bango_69 nice!! Mine definitely has the power now but I need to learn that balance point like you were saying. Do you pop the clutch really fast?

@DSteel5408 2nd gear dump the clutch rev to the moon and throw all your weight back. It also helps keeping a foot on the brake and your left foot off the bike and just pop it up in first gear to get comfortable with how it feels to bring it up. You can practice using the back brake to drop it back down this way too.

@@Bingo_Bango_69 okay; I’ll give it a shot. I have a video of me using just the throttle to pull the front wheel up. It’s more intimidating now that it has so much more power lol.
