Beauty according to her is not trying to look as foreign as possible to how you naturally look, to the point where you look like a “foreigner”. She’s not so fond of thick layer of makeup and dyed hair, or anything that could potentially damage your skin or take away any of your natural look. I’d say I agree with her to some extent, but she’s sort of judge mental about it.

The reason why most Filipinos are judgemental for those people who get plastic surgery it's because in catholicism plastic surgery is like consider as a sin, it's like changing something that God gives you instead of embracing it, is like you're not appreciating what god gives you. Once again, I think Kris is really not fit to say something about Indonesia, because he is lacking in representing the specific thing of Indonesia. In another video, he couldn't explain more why Iwan Fals become a legend in Indonesia music industry. Usually when you have topic about beauty, woman is more appropriate, but the South Korean guy is good explaining it. Yes Indonesia is addicted to whitening skin, but not with adding something to make 🍑 or butt bigger. I don't know how long Kris live in Indonesia compared to Korea, but he is definitely nope 🙅. He even said about Keluarga Cemara for heaven sakes, that's so old! I am quite disappointed when he mentions about Korean celebrities more as if Indonesia is lacking of handsome men. And that's what Im scared of.Im not against with them. Its just that I dont trust people. Sometimes they use their freedom too much.Just like in Korea.I've heard and watch a lot of videos.a foreigners who lived in Korea for yrs. or who have friends in Korea.According to them for Korean its more weird if U don't have surgery.Their's nothing wrong with improving yourself. What's wrong is that through that the beauty standards there is getting too high.To the point that their is no satisfaction at all.I respect people who have surgery but I don't tolerate.Honestly I admire those people who are not good looking before because of so many reasons (flat nose, dark skin doesn't suit them, shaggy hair etc) but when they get money instead of using it to have surgery they accept themselves. They just know how to groom themselves. What dresses, hairstyle, shoes and etc suits them.Like bretman rock.He has flat nose but look at him HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL.He even wear heavy make up before but compare to now.He use light make up to no make up but his prettier. And also those actors who stop using whitening product and make their morena skin shinier.I just want to tell U all U dont need it.U just need to groom urself.U are all beautiful. But if still U want to have surgery just know ur limit 🥺🥺.I believe tlga na lahat e magagnda.Nasasayangan kc ako.Kasi baka in the next next yrs ang mauso nanan e flat nose. Kulot at maiitim.Kaso wala nagparetoke na.And once nagbago nanaman beauty standards iibahin nanaman nila sarili nila.

Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese & Filipino or Hawaiian are the SAME “VERY PICKY” on the appearance. Like it’s a must requirement for the looks & money. High maintenance. If you’re ugly, brown, short, deaf, dumb even with no friends meaning you’re nobody, no friends, no dating life, no family. And bunch of friends make fun of someone who’s ALONE. “you’re not that very popular”.
as a Thai, i think this Thai lady did not tell the real Thai men, many Thai men also do those Korean hair style especially Thai- Chinese blood men, because in Thailand there are many Thai-Chinese blood men. it's may not that many, but if you go to Siam Square area you will find teenage do Korean hair style quite a lot.
Ordinary Indonesian man like me will take care of mustache and beard. Because it would be considered as manly and tough ahahahah fight me bro Height never matters for us, but more muscular and physically fit body. Also we do something with our skin...Indonesian men secretly take care of their skin too hahaha ✌
i respect people's choices but korea's plastic surgery is extreme...before i know that people have plastic surgery to "reconstruct" like for burn victims or people with crooked nose,or for someone whos face has been damaged..but now i see people changing almost everything in their face, and copying some celebrity's looks..they change nose, lips, eyes, jawline.i didnt know that you can have you jaws shaven?and also, there are so many people regretting having plastic surgery.im sorry,i didnt mean to offend people,i just dont understand why lots of people do it.they set standard that doesnt fit their looks thats why they undergo extensive plastic surgery.
I agree with U and my fellow Filipinos are extremely influenced by korean having surgery and too much care for their physical appearance.Their's nothing wrong whats wrong is its too much.I love people who dont have surgery. They accept themselves. They just learn how to improve themselves not thru surgery and look at em theyre so beautiful.I dont want to normalize it but I thinks in our generation alot of things have been normalize.I cant 🥺🥺
i notice in this generation of filipino men they have like that korean style hair, i see highschool students and college student with that kind of hairstyle nowadays
Which is baduy for me, Italian tanned men must follow by Filipino men, tanned and clear skin, clean haircut, mustache optional, and simple outfits but looks very sharp. That’s appropriate for Filipino men, Italian men are so freakin underrated
A haircut means a lot for men but whatever haircut you had when it was suitable for you whenever or whatever event or generation it is, it's ok. As long as it suits the beholder. Remember, the best model-maker is yourself.
I watch the conversation about beauty standard in man and woman I'm a pilipino . I'm not agree what she have said in hair styling that catchupoy style it's funny looks .actually in the year 70's that cahupoy hair style was very popular.and mostly young generation doing that styling around the world especially western country and man with a long hair.they called them Hippies...
I think now a days some Pinoy's want their skin to be morena than light na no? Idk pero napapansin ko na mas open minded na sila when it comes sa mga ganitong bagay.
Yes some, but tbh may binabagayan talaga ang pagiging morena/moreno “beauty privilege”, kung hindi kagandahan like lovie poe, nadine saka gabby garcia expected talaga na mabubully ka same din sa pagiging maputi, like maputi ka nga maasim ka naman wala din, lahat talaga may binabagayan.
True and Im so happy. Yung tan skin niya pina smooth and shine niya.Yung hairstyle niya binago niya.Di na rin siya nag heheavy make up.I think alamin lang talaga ng bawat isa ang hairstyle, fashionstyle,Colors na bagay sa kanila and also watch your weight as well boom kavogggg.Dami ko rin nakikita sa tiktok na inaccept na nila ung kulot nilang hair.Sana pati sa nose maging normal nalang na di iparetoke.CUTE NAMAN AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
Why am I never satisfied with whatever the thai girl said? Like I know one person can't represent the whole country but what she said sounds to me like she hasn't been in Thailand for a while or doesn't really follow nowadays Thai medias.
For Jerie's it was an old beauty standard, nowadays filipino beauty standards are more on those who have fair morena skin, tho there are still some would kinda fair skinned, but moreno/as are more preferred nowadays. Mostly right butts 😂 filipinos nowadays are obsessed with butts 🍑 😂 and full lips and I hope they shouldve explained more why South East Asians opted to brightening their skin color bc even East Asians would discriminate race with dark or brown skin tone
I'm not agreeing with the Filipina guest and her describing of Filipino beauty standards 😶 Even filipino likes to be the white, western look of celebrities but we do all so prefer and very much likes the natural brown skinned Filipina beauty 💞
The Filipina is so simplistic in her explanation. Filipinos don't just like Western beauty standards. Koreans are also very popular. And Filipinos like small "chinito" eyes, not big eyes like Westerners
pinoy has different preferences most like thicc western american beauty some like morena beauty and for younger generation they like korean. But for most men they prefer western or american sizes😁
Filipinos love Westernized and Chinitas. If Filipinos don't love Western beuaty standards, why are almost all of our beauty queens half-white? or at least ambiguous
No I don't like chinitos 😂😂😂. Not all Filipinos like chinitos. I like Western look, be it male or female, especially the Latino/latina look. That's my idea of beauty.
until now Philippines bashed the rhino surgery if you are western blood or your nose is western it's good I don't think some filipino are flat nose in visayas region you had a spanish blood or mestizo
Pls talk about something that is very unique traits and culture to each country and something that is common or the same among countries. Example. Most americans live by themselves at the age of 18. For common, among Asians rice is rice. 🤣
The one from the Philippines isn’t even true lol. I don’t know from which province/city in the Ph the lady is from, but from where I lived before and live currently, I’ve seen kababayans with naturally fair skin. And while Filipinos have varied skin tones (from fair to really dark skin), morena or tanned skin is the trend nowadays. More morenas are embracing their skin tone. Generalizations are harmful because I see quite a lot of foreigners telling Filipinos without the stereotypical features that they do not look like one. Please do better, it’s 2023.
as Filipino, I think having a morena/moreno skin nowadays is kinda trendy.. Filipino beauty is very diverse (morena, black, chinita, mestiza, arabic).. Some people looks great with tanned skin while others choose to have a whiter skin.. it depends on your preference..

Kulot at maiitim.Kaso wala nagparetoke na.And once nagbago nanaman beauty standards iibahin nanaman nila sarili nila.
normalize ? people are just being understandable not normalize Its EXPENSIVE cause its NOT NORMAL

Grabe! You don't know Kachupoy! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Kachupoy is a male comedian from the 80s, and even to the 90s, who sports such hairstyle (you can search in Google or UA-cam). Kachupoy is very famous that's why I'm shocked that some young people doesn't know him anymore.

Hi im from ph.Nice video i like it
Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese & Filipino or Hawaiian are the SAME “VERY PICKY” on the appearance.
Differences of school activities content please
as a Thai, i think this Thai lady did not tell the real Thai men, many Thai men also do those Korean hair style especially Thai- Chinese blood men, because in Thailand there are many Thai-Chinese blood men.
it's may not that many, but if you go to Siam Square area you will find teenage do Korean hair style quite a lot.
cachupoy was an actor before....but with regard to the hairstyle....i have no idea
Ordinary Indonesian man like me will take care of mustache and beard. Because it would be considered as manly and tough ahahahah fight me bro
Height never matters for us, but more muscular and physically fit body.
@@HiItsMe-ip8cj tf u babbling about?
A haircut means a lot for men but whatever haircut you had when it was suitable for you whenever or whatever event or generation it is, it's ok. As long as it suits the beholder. Remember, the best model-maker is yourself.
That tall bro is freakin' bold.. " not too handsome"
That Filipina is right, she even dyed her hair blonde... 😂🤣🤙
I realized on this discussion that Filipinos in general are very much western thinking.
For thai men, just make you clean, that is enough.
I think now a days some Pinoy's want their skin to be morena than light na no? Idk pero napapansin ko na mas open minded na sila when it comes sa mga ganitong bagay.
Not really but “some”
Some do, but some really look beautiful with their tanned skin like Lovi Poe and Bianca Gonzalez.
yes and isa ako don yung kapatid ko maputi so na-iinggit sya sa 'kin. yung mahilig sa mapuputi na skin is/are millennials- pataas
5:00 In Philippines if you are a guy and you tell another guy that he's handsome, it's kinda gay (sorry for the word) but in Korea it was just fine..
For Jerie's it was an old beauty standard, nowadays filipino beauty standards are more on those who have fair morena skin, tho there are still some would kinda fair skinned, but moreno/as are more preferred nowadays. Mostly right butts 😂 filipinos nowadays are obsessed with butts 🍑 😂 and full lips
and I hope they shouldve explained more why South East Asians opted to brightening their skin color bc even East Asians would discriminate race with dark or brown skin tone
discuss about the military army bro
How come we couldn’t think of it? Great idea…

I'm not agreeing with the Filipina guest and her describing of Filipino beauty standards 😶
Even filipino likes to be the white, western look of celebrities but we do all so prefer and very much likes the natural brown skinned Filipina beauty 💞
not all that's why whitening products still exists here and is one of the leading businesses nowadays
me: double eyelids with double eye bags
Kris probably look like Park Hae Jin, the resemblance tho..
The Filipina is so simplistic in her explanation. Filipinos don't just like Western beauty standards. Koreans are also very popular. And Filipinos like small "chinito" eyes, not big eyes like Westerners
Not all. Some like chinito, and some like man who has deep-seated eyes. Don't just refer to teenagers' preferences.
pinoy has different preferences most like thicc western american beauty some like morena beauty and for younger generation they like korean. But for most men they prefer western or american sizes😁
Filipinos love Westernized and Chinitas. If Filipinos don't love Western beuaty standards, why are almost all of our beauty queens half-white? or at least ambiguous
Lol! I prefer manly and masculine like Westerners. But teenage nowadays prefer pretty boys
No I don't like chinitos 😂😂😂. Not all Filipinos like chinitos. I like Western look, be it male or female, especially the Latino/latina look. That's my idea of beauty.
😍
until now Philippines bashed the rhino surgery if you are western blood or your nose is western it's good I don't think some filipino are flat nose in visayas region you had a spanish blood or mestizo
Park Jung Woo is his brother?!?! Omg 😲
When u do haircut like Junghyun they will call your hairstyle Bao not cachupoy "bao ng niyog ".
In this video, I notice a constant tone of mockery against the guys, even from these girls towards these guys. Why do that?
Isn't cercumsize is a plastic surgery too? all man in the Philippine are doing that.
r u dum
Plastic surgery in the Philippine is like a immortal sin..... yari ka sa mga marites pag nagpa plastic surgery ka!😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
that's mangkok haircut wkwk
In korea they call it potato haircut
