I have a lavender farm about 20 miles from me but my problem is getting there as my disability means I can no longer drive. Getting up at 5am is not a problem as I am often still awake then after being awake all night due to my condition :) you are definitely the Queen of golf carts, so funny picking the model up, limousine, no, golf cart, you must get one 😊 Beautiful shots 👍

You are lucky, the lavender is till in bloom in your area, in my area no more , and it was a little tough for me as there lot's of peeps and the sun was so strong, wish they had a bike too,LOL!

The lavender fields are a great place for a photoshoot. I did one a few years back at another location. So, it does indeed pay off to get up that early. Plus almost no one there or in your case still closed. Another great video.

I shoot with direct front light a lot because I shoot on film it’s not as harsh. Also with slide film it really brings out the vibrant colours!🎞
her outfit tho! The sheer look with the stockings 🔥. Plus your model is pretty. I think 5.6 and f8 would be really sharp esp at 5000 ss with the daisies. Great location and vid 👌

I’ve done two morning shoot and I swear the sun rises soooooo fast than it sets lol it’s challenging, also I would recommend getting a VND filter if you guys are planning to do shoots like this. 🍊

Hey Jessica, I would love to know what color balance adjustments you make on your camera. Do you change it depending on the time of the day your shooting? Or is it always the same setting? I’m always having trouble with that, I prefer “shade mode” because I often shoot in the afternoon (close to sunset) and that works for me, but when I’m shooting in a different hour, or when I’m doing an indoor photoshoot, I really don’t know what’s gonna look better and I get afraid I’m not gonna be able to make those colors look good while editing the photos. I would really appreciate a video about that, but for now, just an answer would be awesome 🥳 Love your work! Greetings from Mexico ❤️

Love your vid. Jessica I have a question! Is there a reason you shot at 200 iso rather than 100? Or just happened to do it that way? I would have automatically gone down to 100 and adjusted for the light using SS. But I'm always wanting to learn. :)
A lot of the photos are taken at f2.8, f3.5. If 50mm lies inbetween the 24-70mm, would there have been so much difference if you had shot with the 24-70mm?

The other day I woke up at 4 to get a certain photo the photos nice but I was ready to go to bed at like 4 in the afternoon 😂😂😂
I often get up at 4 am, 6 days in a row. In summer it's not that hard
