Great conversation ladies. As a Christian, I love watching Ana, I have learnt so much from her. A new subscriber Tiana, I found you through Ana. God will lead you both about your writing. The Bible has darkness within it and some of our journeys were very dark before they became light. I suggest having boundaries, the Holy Spirit will lead you both and come through in your writing. 💛
It's challenging to write honestly and convincingly about faith, especially in fiction. I hate cheesy, preachy books, but I also hate reading books that are devoid of God and all His attributes, and His standards, and then to find out that they were written by Christians. Jesus should influence literally everything in our lives. If He doesn't influence our writing, something is seriously wrong!

It’s an interesting struggle for me because my writing will not have an explicit mention of God, but rather, one will see it by reading between the lines. At least, that’s what I hope to achieve 😅
