I don't care what anyone says, labels or stereotypes. David is one of the most inspiring men in the world. He answered a prayer of mine. To be openly homosexual and refusing to give up faith in God. He has saved a lot of lives, especially some of gay youth that feel they have no outlet for who they are. I wonder how many lives those that want to condemn him have saved.

The night I first heard this song I was dealing with a long term devastating family situation that seemed hopeless to repair. This song these lyrics were like a answer to my prayers. I sent the song to my estranged family member hoping they would listen to it and I started using your words in my prayers going forward..something I hadn't been doing as often as I should. I'm throwing it up to you God...please hear me. He did...a few days later my daughter who wouldn't talk to me for over two years called me. She had listened to Postcards In The Sky too. We've been able to slowly build a new relationship since and are in a better place than we've ever been. This song and now this perfect video for it have moved me to tears again. Thank you David and LadyV for your beautiful song straight from your hearts to mine when I absolutely needed it the most..❤

I watched the listening party for Postcards in the Sky and it was so fascinating learning about the origins of the brilliant songs on the album! (Are they still called "albums"?) (; This is the album where David became a true artist. He has always been an amazing singer but this is where he started to become totally authentic as a human being and as an artist - and that of course is still evolving for him. My wish for him is that he stops being so hard on himself and allow himself to be fully himself, his true authentic self. He has such a beautiful soul and such a beautiful voice and I look forward to his growing even more as he loves himself more and loves others more as a result! (:

Ever since the american idol back in 2008, I have been a die hard of David till this very day! Not to mention, all of his songs are absolutely amazing and I wouldn't even complain even a bit. In this 11 years of my life, I have never got bored any of his songs. I can listen to his "crush" song on repeat mode for so many times just in a day, no lie.
