Really? I didn't see it going that much longer without the writing getting stale. Around season 4/5 Jim seemed to have checked out with his acting too not really caring anymore. Probably because the writers kept giving all the critical plot points to all the female leads. He really got shafted by the writers near the end he felt like a side character in his own show. I think it was said somewhere he was out after season 5 anyways.
Just finished watching 4th time.. I'm in so much love with all of them and their work in poi. Can be said I've been addicted to poi and machine's all acolytes. I want to meet these guys at least once hug them and let them know that I'm their biggest fan.. Love from India 🙏

This programme had me hooked the 1st time around and I feel I need that same "high" once again, before my number comes up..., the Maschine has ceased operation, and there is no more John or Shaw to come save me!

Love seeing how different the women’s real personalities are from their characters with their demeanor and manner of speaking. Sarah is a lot more “bubbly” than Shaw and Amy is sweet and demure - a stark opposite of Root. The guys just pretty much talk and act like they're still in character, only happier.
Ok now someone please suggest me, HOW TO MOVE ON from this show? I am terribly missing all of them. Usually i would start something new or do somthing new but this time its like i am stuck with them. Is there any other show i can watch to move on? Or i can do to move on?
homie i watched this show in 2016 and my love hasnt waivered or died at all. i’ve never loved a show this much. but as far as other suggestions: criminal minds, dexter, how to get away w murder, grey’s anatomy, lost, west world

Taraji was (and still is) so in demand and popular that she would have been a fool not to leave POI. She's making millions upon millions these days with her popularity. Do your research and you would know these things.

I was only wondering why Taraji left the show, if it was her choice or not. My question was basically directed towards Jonah Nolan and/or Greg Plageman.
@@mydogskips2 There was just too much work (&$) waiting for Taraji. She just couldn't find time in her schedule. I remember Nolan talking about having her back in flashbacks but obviously she couldn't coordinate her schedule for even things like that.

I really don't like very long shows.. POI with 5 seasons is perfect. I loved every episode, and the end was pure perfection. I have a huge crush on Shaw, the scene of her giving a shotgun to Reese, so he wouldn't uncomfortable while she is driving that Lamborghini made me laugh like an idiot.
Are you kidding me, that's ridiculous. Taraji is never at these things, they should've given her the day off, or at least part of the day, to be there with the rest of the cast.

It seems to me that Jim has a reserved personality and clearly does not like to monopolize attention. He lets his colleagues talk like any educated person would. Not all protagonists have to be outgoing. I adore you Jim.

I absolutely love this show (especially Jim) but it started to go downhill when Root appeared.
Jim is so devoid of personality, you literally forget he's there. They could have a cardboard cutout in his place for the same impact.
