But just do a lot less, like once a week and only deal with the very best cars submitted to you... Funky stuff... rare stuff... etc. I don't think it should go away.

VF engineering has a pretty cool thing going on where they give you decent amounts of added power yet keeps the car reliable and without heat issues.Very good brand from what ive seen.An extra 200 hp or so and you can beat the shit outta it everday without issues seems cool to me.Still a UGR fanboy but cant lie VF is impressive.

I find it so funny that when Jeremy Clarkson first reviewed the V10 R8 he was so in love with driving the car he was literally licking the steering wheel. Much like how you were giggling and laughing because the dynamic driving experience the car offers is just that hard to match. But the Clarkson mentioned how he felt the car had no personality how he couldn’t imagine the car smiling, and yet failing to mention how much it made him smile driving it. I don’t think anyone else has ever been able to combine comfortable daily drivability with absolute thrilling super car performance in one car. Audi in my personal opinion has made quintessentially the perfect super car.
Hi Matt I've only ever ridden in an R8 V10 once and even without that I'd be a fan, just for the V10 noise (it's got that Group B Quattro thing). AFAICT from multiple reviews the R8 V10 is already one of those do-it-all all-the-time very fast cars with a pretty linear power delivery - it strikes me then, that if there's one high performance car that suits supercharging (rather than silly turbo pressures) it's the R8 V10. It's the same all-round good thing, but with more (much more) of it. If you know of one lying around, send it to me and I promise I'll give it a good home - blood oath :) PS your good mate Chris once said (of the V10 Plus) that the biggest compliment he could give it was that it didn't steer or handle like an Audi. High praise.

To launch the non-plus, switch to dynamic, push the TCS button down by the shifter, then it's ready to launch. For the plus models, push the checkered flag button on the wheel and it's ready to go.

A positive displacement supercharger is the hardest on the engine compared to the rest. Turbos are not sudden compared to a SC. I think for aftermarket kits SCs typically are more reliable compared to aftermarket turbo kits. Most aftermarket SCs are similar packaging to OEM. Turbo kits are typically thrown in where they can fit it.
turbos are easier on an engine at the same power level. I love superchargers for the average street car. They are more simple, and have fewer failure points. With that being said turbos are more efficient, and will make more power on less boost. They hold a strong advantage when you are trying to make serious power. 600-800 is mild and superchargers still hold several advantages in that range
I totally agree, I'd much rather have an R8 than the Huracan. I'll never be able to afford either so it doesn't matter but I'd love to take a roadtrip in an R8.
I said that and i now own my dream car. If you work hard and make smart decisions youll get the car you always wanted. Work/Save buy a house rinse and repeat 4x. 10 years later you can buy whatever car you want. Then youll be bored of it and it will sit in your garage. Not even kidding.

I can't believe Audi still has the up/down shift backwards on the transmission "stock"/selector. I'm sure the ones on the steering wheel are correct, but the one on the center console should be pull to upshift and push to downshift, but if you look close @ 1:56 it clearly shows the opposite, push forward for upshifting and pull backward for downshifting. You'd think they'd have that sorted by 2017

I just test drove a Hurucan with a VF Engineering Supercharger. It was NUTTTTY. Then it broke on the 3rd pull. Check engine, ECS, AWD Error, limp mode, it then pulled hard to the left. I think it may have snapped an axle.
04dram04 just remember on the track and on the race tracks all professional drivers are using automatic paddle shifters they are not using manual I get your point manual is fun boat loads of fun but it's really just a mind game paddle shifters can be fun once you get used to downshifting and upshifting
Launch control program on the R8 V10 is tricky: - Press the ESP button once - Hold brake with your left foot - Shift into gear - Press the sport button - Hit the gas with your right foot - Take your left foot off the brake - Hold on to your butts I love hearing Matt giggle like a schoolgirl.

supercharger runs off the engine crank so after time it wears out crank bearings alot faster than a na or a turbo which just runs off exhaust gas

ESS Tuning also makes a supercharger kit for them. With a bigger 2.9L Whipple over this 2.3L TVS2300. And it's $6,000 cheaper.
