- British Vogue presents ‘In The Bag’ with Louis Theroux. The British-American journalist and broadcaster reveals his daily essentials, as we take a look inside Louis Theroux’s backpack. ‘I’m a very prestigious international documentary maker, but what I’m trying to tell you is that I’m a normal person,’ deadpans Louis Theroux. A case in point? The ‘rather unglamorous' contents of the journalist and broadcaster’s bag, which includes dental floss, a spare plastic bag and a half-consumed pack of Sainsbury’s sea salt & vinegar flavoured peanuts.
Other must-haves include his Apple iPhone (‘Jennifer Aniston is probably the most high-wattage celebrity in my contacts’) and his Sony headphones (‘I’ve been listening to a lot of London grime and rap.’) Meanwhile, the fashion essentials he won’t leave home without ranges from a Queens Park Rangers scarf to a Santa Cruz beanie. Louis is just being his usual nice self, wholesome doesn't work here at all it doesn't describe Louis nature nor his behaviour.

Saw him in The North Pole pub in Shepherds Bush in 2000 ( or thereabouts) on his own having a pint on the table me and a group of others used to sit at after work. Naturally, we sat somewhere else. Too shy to say hello to him as I was already familiar with his work to that point. The North Pole is now a Tesco and Louis Theroux is still a legend!

I have always had a soft spot for QPR given I am a Glasgow Rangers fan. I can also relate to the chocolate and red wine addiction.
I too rake leaves and cut the lawn for excersize but I have Triang Hornby model railways and I sketch cars and stuff for relaxation.
Here in Toronto they do not allow you to bring plastic bags to the grocery store.

Louie, I found that as I got older my gums began receding, leaving large spaces between my teeth, which began trapping food, so I started getting cavities between my teeth. This was why flossing became so important.

I'm a paranoid nut and here's what's in my bag .
First aid kit , weapon maintenance kit , whetstone , firestarter , some spare canned goods and bottled water , matches , steel wool to go with matches , spare 9 mm pistol , vacuum sealed coffee powdered creamer and sugar , wooden pipe and extra screen , various useful plant matter for said pipe , non name brand water purification straw which actually has a name brand . Oh and a few condoms for waterproofing .
At one time I had spare money in there but I started thinking in a genuine disaster money's probably going to be pretty useless so I added a few spare boxes of ammunition and foodstuffs for barter instead . Spare bag of pipe tobacco and a few other things for trade as well . I'm going to ride out the end of the world like a Fallout trader 🤣
*All that trouble and I'll probably die of pneumonia in the first week and become a loot drop 🤣
