I am more than happy to vote for you. You were the first vlogger I found and inspired me to take up sewing again bit also to make everyday garments rather than party dresses. I still enjoy your videos, they always make me happy.
Good to see you. I'm excited to get started on my first knitting gift but had never heard of a snood; interesting. Yours looks beautiful in the Alpine yarn. I've been making gifts -- I tried to combine patterns to make a sexy negligee as a shower gift; that turned out horrible and ended up throwing it away. I tried to make a cardigan out of a really difficult fabric to work with, made an error and it's impossible unpick that fabric so I ended up throwing that away. I was feeling so discouraged and did want to sew any more. Then I made gift pillow cases which were easy and turned out really cute. Then I designed and made a "possibility" bag, lining it with neoprene which gave it perfect structure. It turned out wonderfully. These last two projects helped me to finally get my sewjo back.
Oooh I was about to buy the tilly and the buttons nora top, but now don't know whether to go with the toaster sweater you've made! Eek, they look so lovely. Always enjoy your videos, and super congrats on being nominated. Very well deserved. A xxx
Congratulations on your nomination! How exciting!!! I love your 70’s dress. Its gorgeous! I know sometimes you make things for your husband. Have you ever made him a raglan sleeve jumper, and can you recommend a pattern? I’m on the look out for one for my other half. Thank you! X
Well deserved nomination.Fingers crossed you win. I think the cardi your wearing would look lovely with your second dress, the blue Paisley prairie style dress
Rosa, more gorgeous baby makes, smashing gifts! I loved all your makes and fabrics. I liked that you said how much of the Liberty Jersey you used for the sweater, it's very useful, as I'm 4'10". Can you remember how much fabric you used for the other sweaters. Your nomination is very well deserved. I've been watching your Vlogs since the beginning, your confidence grew very quickly and it's brilliant watching as your enthusiasm just shines through. Well deserved.

hot tip - the reason that baby clothes have the lapped top (or poppers) isn't as much for ease of putting it over the heads as much as it's about being able to take it off them by pulling it *down* rather than back up off their heads. It's less distressing for the baby and also helps in a messy nappy situation to avoid getting poo on their head!! Oh, lovely sewing by the way :-P
