Love what you have made. Your "fixes" wouldn't be noticed by anyone else, the dress & jumpsuit look terrific! (As do the other garments). I think your apron transformation is brilliant!
The Bloomsbury blouse looks so great on you, excellent job! Ultimate Wrap dress is another winner for you.I really like the asymmetrical buttons on the Kew Dress, great fix.Jumpsuit hack looks fabulous. Really enjoy seeing your sewing.
I'm a fan of MMM because I like seeing what other people wear most frequently. Whatever patterns are TNT for others are usually well-drafted and worth making. Plus reading through all the MMM posts for each person is like looking at their own unique "style books". It's a great way to find new ideas for styles that I'd also like to make for myself. Your jumpsuit looks so cute on you! Jumpsuits/rompers/coveralls are not my thing because I have to wear coveralls for work and I hate having to essentially get naked just to pee (TMI, sorry). BUT! Everyone who has been making them in the sewing world has done such a great job on the styling and fabric, so I do like seeing them on other people ;)
Wrap dress PERFECT on your figure...great tip elastic around neckline....love vintage flower blouse W/ ruffle...shirt dress hack with pant .... Cloths body...your lucky...
I love them all, and I think your fixes look just fine. There is not a chance that anyone will think that's not how they're supposed to be. They'll all be thinking, "What a delightful young woman!" I promise!
Aw thank you! I think we are always most critical of our own work. When I look at the quality of some of the clothes in the shops I feel like I should judge my sewing less harshly haha
The embroidery incorporated in the Bloomsbury Blouse adds such a lovely touch. Love both floral print dresses and the jumpsuit-all perfect for spring and summer. Beautiful makes, Rosa!
Wow! *This is why I love You* I have been wanting a jumpsuit for ages as well. And I have both these patterns and never thought to sew them together. Brilliant!!!! You did an absolutely amazing job on all your makes.
Gday Rosa. Loving all your makes. The embroidery is really beautiful. How you hacked the jumpsuit is great, the color is lovely. Hope your well & not too busy? Thank u for sharing. xx
Hi Rosa! So nice to see what you did with the red poppy fabric! It looks lovely! I just realised you purchased that fabric from me!! I had no clue I was sending it to you! “Absent minded” anyway the fabric looks lovely on you and great to see it was made into a lovely dress! 😊
I love the floral dresses in this video, great to see you making different items from patterns I also have, it makes me want to try combining patterns and really experiment with different items. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love all the makes and fixes :) I don't think anyone would notice - would really like to see a close up of the bias bound neckline on the bloomsbury blouse or sleeves.
All of your outfits look so nice! Love your beautiful hair, I hope you don't have much cut off, but I know it can get really hot...thenew camera set up works just fine.😉
I love the embroidery! I've been wanting to do embroidery on a garment for a while now but I worry how it would come out. I feel better seeing your blouse since it looks soo pretty! Well done!
Love your jumpsuit Rosa... I have this pattern , but I've not used it. Don't know if I'm brace enough to do a jumpsuit hack on it though.. I take my hat off to you! 👏🏼😊
Love the jumpsuit and am interested in how you constructed the fly even if you think it's a bodge! I'd like to attempt a similar mash up and have no idea how to do the fly.
I get so excited when I see you have a new video! I do love what you make. One question though...is it hard to button/unbutton the Bloomsbury Blouse by yourself? I always look at jumpsuits and back button things and wonder how hard they are to get in and out of.
You do make some really lovely clothes and your videos are always great and informative. I really enjoy watching them and have been inspired to try and make my very first dress BUT I often hear you say about stabilising the shoulders etc with elastic? I am going to make a simple cotton dress but the pattern does not call for this, but should I just include it anyway as your items always look so good? Thanks !!
The NinaLee dress is lovely; I like the bright red with black and the fit is so beautiful. I wasn't able to find the eBay - willisthemug buttons, only yarn and some fabric. Is there another way to access their buttons?
Like all the items you made. Shows a good sense of creativity and accomplishment. Especially when things didn't quite go as planned. The only sad note is that you destroyed what appears to be a beautiful vintage (antique?) apron to decorate a blouse. Naturally, it's your merchandise to do with, as you please. And I like the concept of incorporating contrast in the blouse. However, my point is that it could have been done in so many other way, it's sad that you chose that apron. (Guess the older I get, the more I treasure the dwindling supply of treasured craftsmanship from the past.)
Hi, beautiful work! gorgeous!I am curious though why you didnt take up your kew dress by taking it out of the seams and darts? I actualy do like the asymetrical cross over but, I was just curious what your thinking was behind that. :)
Lovely makes. I have tried the SOI wrap dress but was a disaster. When you say you stabilised it with elastic what do you actually DO? Because I don't remember reading that in the instructions but feel it's something that might make it work for me.
I love the poppy dress. I love the way it fastens, makes it quirky!
Love what you have made. Your "fixes" wouldn't be noticed by anyone else, the dress & jumpsuit look terrific! (As do the other garments). I think your apron transformation is brilliant!
Your bloomsbury blouse is a stroke of genius - such a beautiful creation Rosa you should be very proud of your work

everything is just lovely. I love the pattern choices. Is there a difference in the American vrs. the European sizing?

Love all your makes! What kind of jersey did you use for the SOI dress?
Your top tips for sewing clear elastic into things please? What kind of needle and stitch do you use? Also, where do you buy yours from? Thanks!
What shops/retailers do you recommend near Bury St Edmunds? My mum lives in Thurston and I just got into sewing. Thank you.
Hi what sizes does Nina Lee go up to please
