I'm a voice actor. And I have to say this; whenever you mimic a character's voice, I'm loving it so much. That shao khan-like "you will die" sounded so intimidating. Love your work. Thank you for sharing it. Cheers!

Oh man breaking a part on a new figure is enough to make a man sick. The day after I got my "MezCrow" I dropped the flying crow and never did find one of his feet. Thought I lost a clip to his gun too but then I realized I was just stupid. I had it tucked in the waist band of his pants

Totally agree - the design has no logic, but way cool looking. Definitely top contender for best figure for 2023.
I'm so tempted to get this guy, and I have no clue who he is. Looks gorgeous, and like you said, could pass as a monstrous warrior in a ton of displays. Conan could fight him, 80s-style sword & sorcery superhero story, gladiator for Legions, anything. The articulation could be better, but the figure just *looks* awesome, especially the paint.
All that said, thank you for mentioning the price and factoring it into your rating. Really important when evaluating a figure, even if it's easy to get caught up in the excitement. You joke about not being professional, but honestly I think you're one of the more professional reviewers out there.
He's just a direct upgrade, of a "generic" Dungeons and Dragons bad guy character created back in the 80's, for a short-lived toy line meant to capitalize on the popularity of the RPG and the animated cartoon series, but has absolutely no affiliation to either, other than the "D&D" branding.
I wasn't ever able to get any of those figures myself back then, but a friend had them, so I got to see his figures when I went over to his house to play.
There's a Paladin, Dwarf and a handful of other figures, but it was a small line. Warduke and the Paladin, whose name I forget at the moment, were definitely the 2 best in the line, so I hope to add these newer versions to my collection.
Warduke did appear in an episode of the cartoon as well

It should never matter who they are, just that they are pretty and fun! He is really cool despite that though as a character too, but the design is just awesome and this version of the figure is the best around now. This figure works with just about any kind of story, he could even pop up in modern scenes because of how his style is kind of "punk" too by having chainmail on one side and other stuff going on, he could be summoned to any kind of dimension or scenario to join in on the fun!

im with you.. warduke is a strong contender for my favorite figure.. which is my dc prime batman.. but warduke is awesome.. i preordered it..been staring at it since i got it.. i had the original as a kid and was one of my all time favorites

He’s absolutely stunning oh and the figure is ok 😂 I like it a lot but neca needs to improve on articulation. There isnt enough posing for me to get this in my opinion

Why sell it so soon (have you already?), why not take it to Japan and use it as an example of a perfect combination of camp and fun and coolness and what we are typically looking for in figures and designs? I think it represents so much of what we like and would want designers to keep producing that I'd probably repeatedly bring it up and compare things to it and show how bland other things are while this has so much going on that is interesting and stimulates the imagination, it is anti-boring! You just got them, and it would allow you to spend more time with the figures by having them there with you! They would make good enough foes to anyone in any scenario or scene and would always look impressive on display too or as channel regulars for size comparisons.
Yeah he’s fine too a new home. I just wanted to see him in hand and do the review. I don’t need to keep him.
I love mine. I still haven't taken him out of the box though.
