Great review! I own this board in cream white... the finish is very nice and the board definitly feels more expensive than $140. The down side is the acoutistics, especially on the 2 sides when built with a PC plate, they just sound so muted and flat... maybe because the plates for the 2 sides are just so small. I also got the aluminum sandwich mount place, it definitely sounds more even but it is just so stiff. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the board, and I love the fact it is in stock and offers a very interesting layout and some more choices outside of QK & Neo boards. My verdict is this board is not as good as the Neo70 when it comes to sound and feel but comes out ahead with the looks and the unique layout.
I know they have another Alu plate option which would be great to try out, same as the PC plate. I agree with your statement though. Neo/qk still light years ahead of their competitors.
I wish daring run offered more plate options or atleast a plate file.
