I love Joyo for one reason, achieving popular/classic tones for a PORTION of what you'd pay for the legit pedal. I currently have the Joyo vintage Overdrive [cost me $35] which is an Ibanez tubscreamer clone that can get very similar sounds from both the ts9 and ts808 [both relatively costing $80-$100] . Honestly after watching this, being that i LOVE darkglass tones [pedals costing no less then $200... oml], I definitely will be upgrading to this pedal hopefully soon and use it for my main bass tone for my band and all that fun stuff. 🤘🏻❤️

Whoa didn't even realize it was a clone with the B3K. I always think of the B3K V1 that didn't have a tone knob. I've been recommending the Joyo Tauren as the best $50 overdrive for bass but I think I'll have to get this Double Thruster to confirm. Thanks for the breakdown!

Just got the double and I already like it better than the b3k I own.... The darkglass just has too much background noise and hum maybe I should send it back for repair.

I bet this would pair nicely with the monomyth. The monomyth does a great job of affecting the cleans, but this would add this nice grit to the sound I bet
Once I get all three of my Joyo pedal videos done, I was thinking about doing something with all of them at the same time.

Psst. DemonFX makes an almost identical clone of the X7. I paid like $60 AUD for it. It's almost criminally close. 😅

This one sounds more like a darkglass to me (maybe you dialed a different tone this time?) about the cheap knobs, I guess once you deal the tone you like, is not like you are going to be touching those too much. I would love for a mini version of this
A mini version would be dope
I had a B3K and didn't like it so sold it. I just got a Double Thruster and feel it sounds better than and has more tone variability than the Darkglass
Do you have an issue were there's a lag before the overdrive kicks in? Makes it hard to use?

Tough call. They’re both great, but I do think the Double Thruster is a bit more fun to me.
@@ampthebassplayer I just oredered a Monomyth 5 minutes ago hahaha.. Since i have a Sansamp bass driver, I thought to use the Sansamp with clean and low drive sounds, and leave the monomyth with the high gain, that's my plan hehe!! I'll promise to come back here and share my opinion on that. All of this because i think the monomyth has better results on the high gain field and for low gain I already have the Sansamp
