Thank you SO much for posting. I live in one of the hardest hit small towns in Georgia. We've been devastated, without power and running water. The resilience and community helping one another has been amazing. But BookTubers doing what they do have honestly helped me keep some sanity during these times. ❤
Yay! I am so glad that you got Rebecca! I hope once you read it my sister will read it. I gave it to her this summer, cause I love it so much! The book is very different than the movie. I would definitely read the book first. It’s a gothic novel, that’s got spooky suspense. It’s not scary though. I loved the first sweater weather book! Can’t wait to read the rest.❤
I totally hear ya with not being able to compute thoughts or anything....I'm in central nc and know so many people out in the Asheville area and it's been intense! My heart hurts so much for the people out there! I'm so glad you were able to post a video though- your videos are always so peaceful and relaxing! Just what I needed on a day like today 💕
I’m so glad to hear it can bring some joy because I didn’t want to seem insensitive by posting. I’m so sorry for what you and the people you know are enduring 🩷
Thank you for posting today! Laura Pavlov is a great author and the Magnolia falls series is sooo good, you're up for a treat! One of my favorite series so far. Laura Pavlov's has three series kind of interconnected. You will meet characters from three of hers series but they can be read separate. If you happen to like Loving Romeo I would recommend to continue Magnolia Falls series and then go back and read Honey Mountain and Cottonwood Cove. In that way you will know everyones stories then they are mentioned in different series. You fly through her books.
@@Jordan_elaine It dosen´t matter really. I would recommend to start with the series you want read and then go back and read the rest. Other charters might be named in them and you will see a little glimpse of the couples after there's stories has ended. But that just spiked my interest to read the rest then I was reading them.
I have seen two movie versions of Rebecca which are great, but the book is better. I have read it and also 1 of 2 spin off books that I know to be in existence. I think you will like it, and don't worry it's not a "horror" story just dark and disturbing like all good gothic novels are.
Starling House is an EXCELLENT haunted house book for October if you don’t want full horror. I did find the writing to be clunky though, like she was trying to be lyrical and poetic but just stuffed in too many words lol. So even though I liked it (esp after a string of DNFs) it took me longer than a 350-page book usually does.
Ayyyyeeeeee, I have been trying to read Rebecca in November for the last 3 years, so I say we buddy read it this go around. 😉 Idk why, but I always just feel like November is THE month to read that book! I’ve seen the movie on Netflix twice and really enjoyed it so I NEED to finally read it. It’s a modern classic that’s like a slow gothic mystery.
Such a good haul! I’m glad you chose to do the video that worked best for you! Wrap-ups can be hard when your brain is overwhelmed! Sometimes I feel like I’m just like “here are the books I read - I remember nothing” 😂
This is so true!! They take me forever to film because even if I loved a book it’s all based on feeling and I have to think so long about what I liked 😂😂
Love Rebecca, I would say the book will be way better than the Netflix movie! Rebecca is not horror, not scary at all! I really want to read Assistant to the Villain. I really want to read Thirteenth Child as well I love Grimm. I Love Emily Lloyd if you like it read Bone Houses and The Drowned Woods all these books take place in same world!!! Loved the first 2!
Hey Jordan, Happy Saturday. I know the feeling of wanting to say no to something you want, I need to learn this as well. 😅 There has been so much tragic from the hurricanes this year and my heart goes out to those who have lost so much. 😢 I know it’s hard to show up and to upload a new video when your heart is in a good place. Thank you for uploading a new video and consistently showing up. 😊🥰👻🎃
I’m almost done with Assistant To The Villain and I’m really liking it! I had to have my appendix out unexpectedly so it’s taking me awhile. I’m going to buy Apprentice this week!
First, so many fall books on my TBR as well. #bookproblems OK friend. I think there are a lot of potential buddy reads in our future. 😂 I have the first Zodiac Academy and I'm so so nervous as well. I have the Wild Huntress as well. And The Last one at the Wedding. Also, Isnt it so pretty!?
@@Jordan_elaine 😂 I'm totally down. Do you want me to split up pages to read each day or just read as we go and chat about it? R u thinking November or this month?

It has been some tragic times recently 😢, but I appreciate your transparency and continuation to show up.
I’m excited for The Wedding Witch too! I also wasn’t expecting it to be winter vibes.

Interesting! I don’t typically like very poetic descriptions but I’m glad to know before I go into it 🥰
Hidden Pictures sounds so good! Putting it on my tbr now 😄
