- FAST Autobahn acceleration the 2017 KIA cee'd GT powered by a 1.6 Turbo delivering 204 hp and 265 Nm of torque. Comparing it to other 1.6 liter 200 hp cars this cee'd has a very honest and simple character making it a fun car to drive. In my eyes the GT spirit always comes across not only if you put it in "GT-Mode" (more sound, sharper throttle & steering). Specifically once you stand outside an hear the cee'd GT fly by its a pretty decent sound! Please stay tuned for more footage of this car coming out soon. Cheers.

Un altro italiano con i miei stessi dilemmi ahahah attualmente ho una Cee'd diesel 1.6 da 110cv, comprata per i comfort e i bassi consumi durante i viaggi. Ma la prossima, fra circa tre anni, la voglio turbo benzina e pensavo ad un'altra coreana della stessa famiglia, sia per gli incentivi sia perché mi ci sono affezionato. La i30n è davvero bellissima, ma anche la nuova Ceed GT (non la Proceed) mi piace molto.
I think you would never have this dilemma if you had ever seen the price tag of an i30N.

...and because it won't be able to keep up on curvy roads or a track race. It is faster on straight line I guess. I once saw a drag between a Leon 1.8 TSI and a Kia GT. Actually Kia wins if the drag extends beyond 200km/h. 1.8 TSI may seem faster because the cars it comes on usually have smaller tires than 18" (like KIA GT has). Put 18" tires on 1.8 TSI Octavia and it's bye bye 0-100 in less than 7,8 sec.

Tolles Auto für den kleinen Geldbeutel. Weiß nicht wie es im Aktuellen Modelljahr ist, aber in den letzten Jahren war das Getriebe nicht ganz so schön. Gerade beim schnellen schalten gehen die Gänge nicht immer ganz sauber rein. Im normalen Ceed fällt das nicht so auf, aber im GT bei Sportlicher Fahrweise müssten sie etwas präziser sein.
Ich bin ja auf den Hyundai N gespannt.

War jetzt auch nicht durchgehend der Fall, aber wenn man oft schnell schaltet ist es einem doch aufgefallen. Aber die hatten ja jetzt etwas Zeit gehabt es auszubessern.
Meiner von 2014 ist butterweich, außer er ist kalt. Da ein klein wenig hackelig.

and if they don't then that's because they use the abs system to brake and or lower power delivery to stop the wheels from doing that.

DONT BE NAIF and READ warranty conditions before you post bullshit ! The warranty IS NOT FULL (bumper-to-bumper) !! It's 3 years for the radio and electric system, 2 years for the air conditioning, 5 years for the rest and ONLY 2 extra years for the mecanical part of the engine and gearbox ONLY if you do an annually revision on a kia authorized dealership and ALL the warranty is limited to 150000 km !!
I have had a 2015 Ceed (can send you the registration card to proof) ... there are only 2 good moments about having a kia, the moment you pick up the car, and ESPECIALLY the moment you finally sell it ! And getting rid of an a kia is something like a nightmare ... no one wants a used kia , NO ONE !
So, please go and buy a Ceed ... you WILL regret it after a 6 months ... but by then it's to late !
LOL Lame this... You probably bought a 1.4 90hp version and you're waiting for miracles? If you have bought a 1.6/2.0 120/140hp version you wouldn't want to sell it for sure! I have a Ceed SC since 2010/08 (originally without DPF) and the only thing I changed was....2x the tyres... longlife oil every 20/25000Km oil/air/fuel filters and windshield liquid (yea i like to have clear vision!)... Never changed the cooling liquid and never recharged AC gas, it still working very well!!! The car has 180000Km and still with original clutch and timing chain! Still making 4/5L with moderate driving and 5.5/6L with fast paced driving... So... yea, pretty decent for all the shit you talked...... I guess!!!
Aw, I stopped making revision on KIA since 150.000Km (last was on 05/2017) as you said there's no point on keep paying more for no warranty. But hey!!! Some people only make 10/15000Km per year! That would take 10 years till 150000KM!
Anyways if it's just too easy to be good, just think why other "better" brands don't give full 6 or 10 years... Most are just forced to stick with 2 years because the LAW demands it!!! 2 years!!! ahah

Krzyhu I am 193cm and I fit just fine. Tho I have to admit, I have to bend my feet a bit when going in or out of the car, but other than that I got no problem. And yes I own a Kia pro ceed GT

This 1.6 Kia engine makes 25 MPG (11 Litres/100km) ... the POLO GTI with a 2 liter engine is way faster and makes 45 MPG (6.3 Litres/100km), Kia has much to learn about engines!

I actually drive many many cars since I'm working in the logistic scene.
I can say that KIA's cars are just getting better and better (driving the 2018 models already). And I'm confident that the engines will last hard abuse, like the older japanese cars. Same thing with the interiour.
I could imagine for myself a KIA Cee'd as a daily driver, with a petrol or diesel engine.

I bought my Ceed GT cause
1) I like the way it looks, something I can't say about too many other cars (personal taste)
2) I like it's interiour over 95pct of the other cars available and since you sit more in your car than looking at the exterior, thats kinda important
3) I wanted a FAST (204 hp is FAST enough) but still comfortable car that also aint a pain to pay road taxes for ENTER 1.6Turbo instead of 2.0Turbo (I dont need a trackday car on the road and YES the CEED has quite a capable chassis and suspension I TESTED IT)
4) I hate cars of the VAG group simply cause it's the VAG group (car business experience)
5) I dislike almost all BMW and MERC cars simply cause they are a "status symbol" for most people
6) since I'm in the car business, I dislike the unreliability of most french and italian cars, especially electronics and gearbox wise
You say people only buy KIA cause they can't afford more, I state the opposite.
People buy european brands over asian ones:
1) they still believe in the phrase "german quality", eventhough they are more unreliable than any asian brand
2) cause of different styling
3) poor(er) dealer network for most asian brands (people like to buy cars with a dealer nearby their homes)
The biggest problem for people to buy a KIA (or suzuki or mitsu or ...) is THE BRAND LOGO's on the car!!!!!!!

That been said, a Ceed is a "honest" car, you get what you pay for, and since you don't pay much you don't get much, still some people are more than happy with a lesser car, so just enjoy your car;)
So ppl buy a GTI because they can't afford an M4. Buy an M4 because they can't afford a 911. Buy a 911 because they can't afford a Lambo. Buy a Lambo, because they can't afford an F22 Raptor. Maybe clever ppl just don't buy everything they can afford because thousands of reasons that are nothing but their business. Maybe you're jealous. Maybe not of a KIA Ceed, but jealous of people that are more than happy with what they own, instead of thinking of what they can't own. Maybe this is hard truth.
They can by happy with what they own, but they also know that they would be even happier with something else, do you really think that people prefer a Ceed over a 911 if they could easily afford one ? LOL ...

Yes, I think that some people would even prefer a 90PS Car over a 911 even if they can afford it. Maybe not you. I mean for sure not you. I could afford an M4. I'm happy with my 10 year old Skoda. I don't have any reason to buy an m4, as there are cars for half the price, that have anything I need, even if I have in mind, that there are cars that are faster, better, more premium.. So I don't get your point. Your psychology 101 is to say, a ceed driver is less happy than a 911 driver, because he can't afford a 911 wich is the better sports car. So the happiest guy is the guy that has the most expensive things, everybody else can be happy, but less happy, because there are still better things, he can't afford. You miss the point, that not anybody needs the status quo of technology in his garage. 911 is - of course - the better sportswear than a ceed. What if i have 6 kids an own a T6 Multivan. Room is the parameter here. In your logic I should prefer a school bus over the t6 bc the school bus has plenty of more room than the t6.
