Tie in games are weird. They tend to either be incredible extremes of quality or dead center mediocre. Something like a 7-8/10 decent game or a 3/10 disappointment just doesn't happen.
Super Robot Wars is always a good time, if you're into turn-based strategy games, that is. Any game from the GBA era onwards is a good pick, with a few having English fan translations. More recent games are officially translated to English, with the translation quality improving on a per-entry basis.
Could you please at least archive the deleted videos somewhere? For example by putting the unlisted videos in a playlist on the second channel so they don't show up when you search them on UA-cam. I really liked falling asleep to them
My father worked on Buu’s Fury! He never really got a sense of how people received his games when they came out so thanks for taking a look at it again. A while back you made a video on loading screens and I was wondering if you were going to bring up another one of my dad’s games from the early 2000’s that had “in-game” dialogue during loading (you didn’t but the video was still a nice watch, of course!)
I didn't even know you had a second channel. I used to have second channels but I never should have started them because my channel was not big enough to warrant having any second channels. Yours probably is but mine even right now probably still isn't. I think license games just have gotten better over the years. Obviously there was a time when license games were incredibly common and they were absolutely terrible and clear cash grabs but it seems like they've gotten better
I know this is unrelated to the main point of the video, but if you liked Gundam Breaker 4 I would recommend Megaton Musashi W: Wired. Very similar gameplay with similar customization, I'd say waiting for a sale to check it out would be worthwhile
If you're looking at licensed games, you should check out Astro Boy: Omega Factor. Genuinely one of the best games on the GBA, and I don't say that lightly.
Honestly, as sub par as licensed games tend to be, when done well, they can be a pretty good time, they don't annoy me nearly as much as adaptations based on games.
i never played these as a kid but i’m a huge dbz fan and wanted to try them out, they aren’t terrible and i did have my expectations high so they did okay for what my expectations were
2 and 3 both go hard -- they're no masterpieces but they do a lot right and are generally quite soulful. The macro-level game design leaves a lot to be desired but it's a lot of the smaller details that do the heavy lifting.
You know if you say someone likes something because of nostalgia, they can assume the exact samething about you. It's pretty much pointless to make assumptions why people like the media they like, everyone is just looking for different things.
hardly awful if you don't have super high standards
bad tie-in games are my guilty pleasure, espically because as a kid that was most of my games until i was old enough for proper games
Buu's Fury was absolute peak, Legacy of Goku 2 was also fantastic
Buu's Saga is underrated though it needs a remake

>trash
>Puts 2 great games and a bad licensed one
The thumbnail bait is strong
The slop enjoyer has been spotted

We were spoiled back then that even bad games would be pretty good today
Dawg it's the other way around 😭
I remember enjoying a lot of the old Disney games like Tarzan and a bug's life on the N64
Kirk talks if you made had the opportunity to make a tie in game for your channel would you make it bad on purpose?

I think I’ve heard of that one. I should check it out
I hate grinding for the true ending of that game, I think Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure is better.
Second Channel == Gaming Channel . . . just like everyone else, HAHAHA!
If it's not Dragon Ball chances are yes they are
If it doesn't have a cult following then it isn't worth looking into.

Buus fury is peak!!🔥🔥
It really depends on the game. Licensed games range all the way from proper classics to quickly thrown together shovelware that barely functions.
i think we’re past the days of most licensed games being awful, they’re just okay usually
do a video of the most creative loading screens in the games please
Sooo… no 3rd channel labeled kiro yaps?
Man I cant stand atom eve
Cause evry time i check for the free game of the week on epic game store one time a month its awalys it
Really? I’ve only seen it as such twice. Once when LISA’s definitive editions got launched on the EGS, and this month with the witch game on Oct. 31st
Cool video :D
Thanks!
Bro makes videos so fast i dont have time to watch them
MOST of them SUCK.
First
Cool
Thx
Second
I'm still convinced that nostalgia is 99% of the reason why people like the legacy of goku games, they're so terrible
I haven't played them yet but what I've seen it looks like a fangame made in RPG Maker 2000 over a weekend.

The epilepsy warning at the start is odd. People are so soft.
Epilepsy is an illness dumbfuck. Its not "people being soft"
"Fuck people with problems, amirite?"
I dunno, I’d rather be told that I might have a seizure if I watch than do it and get harmed or die
It's just a heads up so people with epilepsy don't risk having seizures.
How are people with epilepsy and prone to seizures soft 😭
