    The most amazing part of this video is how little she spilled on that tiny cutting board. Whenever i work with resin, alcohol ink, and glitter, my workbench ends up looking like a unicorn exploded.

  • @flutefun999
    @flutefun999 Рік тому +10

    One thing that still doesn't get shown here (and is the part that makes all the difference). is that after you first fill those little molds with epoxy resin, you have to let that resin sit for about 1/2 hour to an hour BEFORE you start adding the inks. This allows it to thicken up enough (without curing) so that the inks don't just immediately drop to the bottom or get all swirled together into a single colored glob.
    So make sure to let them sit for a bit first BEFORE putting in the inks.

      Recently I tried my hand at woodcarving and all it took is time and dedication. No prior knowledge, I learned everything I need in the process. As someone said, you would be better than 98% of people the moment you actually start doing something. Also look around the store that sells the products you need, you may find a lot of useful tools that you didn't even know existed. The staff here are always very helpful and will answer most of your questions.
      One of the best things I heard recently is "No movie is ever finished, it just gets released". You can apply this to any creative process.

    Could you imagine what the effect would be if you held the drip drop colors higher up, gravity is beautiful.

    • @Pipemonkey
      @Pipemonkey 4 роки тому

      Gabe Williams hmm although I 100% agree this work is outstanding, I don’t agree with you hypothesis on gravity, Gravity coming from the word gravitas, meaning two objects of mass are attracted to each other, resulting in nothing should be allowed to leave earths surface. Gravity has to date, NEVER been proven, it’s simply a mystical magical theory. However density and buoyancy clearly have been proven and is a testable, repeatable, measurable and observable. Gravity is simply nonsensical childish magic tricks, mostly performed by the likes of NASA, NOT a space agency. Sorry for the rant, I just had to react on reading your reply to this post.

    • @Roughknite

      @@Pipemonkey LOL Never thought I would find someone who doesn't believe in GRAVITY on a RESIN video. The dumb ones come out from all sorts of cracks don't they. (By the way maybe you should go do some research on what the word theory actually means).

    • @debrajol3585
      @debrajol3585 4 роки тому +3

      I think you’re right! It would have probably hit the bottom with some force and ‘bounced’ back up into the colors making unexpected changes. Interesting to think on. May need to try this out just to see what happens.. if I could actually get all the drops into the targets 👌🤩🤓

      Gravity is really beautiful!

    • @marysimotics4691
      @marysimotics4691 3 роки тому

      Well I’m just gonna make believe right now that there’s gravity on half of her little cosmos. That being the case if we imagined, mystically that we were floating around in the ball of the non gravity one. The other cosmos we were stuck to the protruding surfaces inside being drawn inward as though there were a gravitational pull. If you spun each one what difference would the effects be on the inhabitants due to the presence of or lack of some gravitational pull. Would it knock down the floaters or catapult the others into the “air”so to speak in mystical magical type thinking terms of the cosmos in make believe little spheres. Half gravitationized for...You. And the other cosmos, well, “floaters” ...for you. All mythical and magical and imagined and so full of Hogwash that I wanna say it aloud! “THAT’s HOGWASH!” “Pure HOG WASH!”. Say it with me loud ( make ya feel better). 1 - 2 - 3...””THATS HOG WASH””

    Methodical and precise. She moves well with the music. I’d have a big MESS! First little drop she had it cleaned up before it could even run. I’m new here, she’s a lovely “hand model”. Even the way she picks up and moves the mold is a nice hand model touch. Little rough unveiling the molds. Wonderful video. It always makes me wonder what faces are connected to the hands. A slim face, a wide one, round one. Dark eyes? light ones? Long, short, curly, frizzy, straight, brown blonde red black or grey or any on the color wheel. Single, a mom, oh, a grandma! ( with my grandma’s accent) from where? Is that near Hungry by my grandma’s roots. Oh my where oh where have they all come from, these lovely voiced hands we see and love. Like a mother’s hands, well know to her little fans!

    Untuk orang indo, kemungkinan ini lycal yang murah makanya wajib finishing. Bisa jadi juga moldnya matte jadi butek kalo ga di polis pake kertas pasir. Kalau mau hasil kinclong no ribet, pake art resin (bukan casting) dan ingat pas nyampur 3-5 menit. Jangan ngarep lycal 108 bisa auto kinclong juga yeee

Is it because there is need for the resin to cure awhile or just plain different kind of resin your are using? I made mine using with 2:1 part epoxy to hardener. Love your work

      a comment from above (sorry, I didn't get name to give credit to):
      "Timing! Wait for the resin to thicken up a bit. Wait 10 - 20 minutes and try. You may have to do a few test pieces to get it right. With my 1 to 1 resin I wait almost 30 minutes. But with my 2 to 1 resin I only have to wait about 10 minutes. The tubular shapes happen because the resin is allowed to thicken up a little while 👌✌️😅"
