    "I WANT THAT LINE ON THE TRACK AND I WANT IT NOW!" - 3 Car

  • @jaxvanhalen5150
    @jaxvanhalen5150 27 днів тому +9

    that 3 car… prime example of big irating, bigger ego.

    • @sicfrynut
      @sicfrynut 26 днів тому +1

      and how to lose said irating. just wow. such a wide track to be so intent on just that exact spot to pass.

      @@sicfrynut Pure stupidity and ego, but also a byproduct of iRacing being a one-one and a half lane game for 17 f-ing years except for a short period of time around 2016-2017. People join iRacing and they have to learn from the get-go how to run that same line for millions of laps otherwise you're not gonna go anywhere. Adaptability is lacking in the game first and foremost even before we get to the players. I'm not defending that guy, obviously with such difference on fresher tires plenty of others would have no problem moving up the racetrack and going around, but you get my point.

    And that is a good example of why I let iracing go. I don't have hours a day to dedicate to a sim that almost always ended in me being frustrated as all get out.

    • @sicfrynut
      @sicfrynut 26 днів тому +1

      i have a stack of monthly bills to be frustrated with, not a game that's suppose to help me forget those things.

    • @hicksvilleshick
      @hicksvilleshick 26 днів тому +1

      @@sicfrynut Which is why it's no longer a bill... I just regret spending all the money on a seat and upgraded PC and 49" ultra wide for iracing, just to have it ruined by folks that don't care. I got stuck in the cycle for 2 years at the end where I could gain irating, but it cost SR, I could gain SR but it would cost irating. It was far too time consuming to be a practical expense, when I could be fishing, or riding my harley, and not have to commit 4 hours to it. What doubly sucks, is there are no other racing games worth a shit. It's like after dirt3 they all went either way video gamey, or hardcore sim. There's no inbetween for casual players.

    Hahaa!! I really got my own little part of the video. That was awsome to watch, thanx 🤩

    That end was ridiculous, but I have to say, I did find a bit of pleasure watching the 3 smack the wall. IRacing is going to laugh in his face if he tries to push his lie about that being your fault.

    Great job 3, you’re smart! Wanted to see where you ended up, but oh well. Shout out to Chris for going for it and you keeping the video going!

    Second race I ran here was a middle split and it was wonderful. People lifted, there was give and take but not stupid take. Only one setup shop ego but he took himself out of the equation. From now on I’m only gonna run this when there’s going to be multiple splits.

    4500 SOF was by far the highest I have ever raced. Cool to lead the field for a restart there, only to get swarmed. 5 wide was probably also a new thing for me 😂 I don't feel comfortable at all at these tracks. But good fun learning things 👍👍

    Risk: everything,
    Reward: getting mad, 23rd 25 laps down, -122 iR.
    Lesson: Doubtful. They'll do it again next time.

      @kneebon5  26 днів тому

      Nah they probably race 50 times a week so if it doesnt work one out of 50 times then its worth it, clearly i was the factor in it all, no way it could be his fault

    Remember that video you did when you talked about how Iracing needs to divide the oval license between short track and speedways. I think it needs to take effect soon. Because that was just dumb by the 3. If iracing does divide it I think it should be up to .99 mile for short track license and 1mile + Speedway license

    • @ChrisMidmark
      @ChrisMidmark 26 днів тому

      Interesting idea.. I avoid the bigger tracks only because I risk loosing everything I have gained at the short tracks.. would like it to be different licenses 👍

    Dang that sucks, poor racecraft by the 3. I am way lower irating than you and it almost seems like its even worse sometimes in higher splits. Ran this one last night and survived by starting in the back.

      Past a certain level of iRating, pretty much everyone has at least a decent racecraft. The only issue is ego, ego, ego.

    When adaptability is out of your wheelhouse, IR loss is in your future. It's just inevitable

    I never saw an inside car intentionally not use brakes so they can cause a crash
    Drive your usual line using usual braking, that car is still running.
    Set up was good for 18 to 20 laps though.
