It’s always interesting to see other illustration processes. I always thought my own process was unconventional or a bit convoluted, but there are so many different ways to use the software I don’t suppose it matters. Great video!
very helpful , your videos are life saviors, with them my sketching talent and tracing and making shapes have increased and am really grateful, i was wondering if u can make another video with more details on how to use clipping mask and transparency panel to make highlights and shadows i kinda still struggling with that , other then this amazing video ,,, really appreciate the good work
@@tt_tutorials yes... I rewatch. I figure it out already. It is in the blob brush tool option. Tick mark the keep selected & merge only with selection.
Yes. And to fill inner part simply select random inner point with the direct selection tool and press ctrl or cmd twice 👍 this is cool technique. I recommend you not to skip first method also, it’s very good and fast.
Hi, Rosalynn! To me it’s 3d method. But I love 1st also, because I experimented so many times to find working and handy method for my illustrating needs. I recommend this method for sure. But personally love 3d method for it’s ‘live’ approach.
Really helpful tutorial sir...i actually tried the first method everything was good until the last step to apply color... The color would spread to the background or to next shape/object 😒
Hi! That’s because of 2 reasons. You might not overlap in some moments. And you probably used the Shape builder instead of Lasso tool. Follow every step and I guarantee 100% successful result. No errors if you do it correctly.

Wow! Thanks for making this - really helpful. Where do you find the pathfinder tool? I can't seem to find it :3
Hi! Thank you 🙏 pathfinder in properties panel, watch video precisely at that moment
@ 3:42 how does the color merge? you did not complete the close path.
Hi! Thank you for a question, but I think you should probably rewatch more precisely, because I show this technique very clear.

Which method do you like the most?
For me I think the first method gives cleanest result
Thanks for the tutorials. Very helpful :)

Yes sir...i think it's the first reason...i didn't use lasso nor shape builder... I'll try again and share the result tomorrow 😊
