- TSN's Montreal Bureau Reporter Kenzie Lalonde joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss how significant it was for the Canadiens to get Juraj Slafkovský locked up long-term, who the potential front-runners are for the opening spot on defence, and the likelihood of GM Kent Hughes adding to Montreal's roster before the start of the season.
actually, Slaf, caufield & susuki all have contract with more money at the start and less at the end. So that mean, in 4-5 year, the will have all of them for approximately 15-16 millions per years. Another Kent masterpiece
Why does that even matter? It’s about the cap hit/AAV. What are you talking about?
@@EDDYEAGLE still frees up cash flow for the team to offer big signing bonuses as incentive to FAs
I think it's a good idea to have both Anderson and Wifi in the lineup. A couple of big boys who can keep an eye on our rising stars so they don't get pushed around. Anderson hopefully can get 15-20 goals this year and his trade value could be high come the trade deadline for a team looking to add a big power forward with speed for a playoff run.
Key off-season move: not signing Tanner Pearson…
123 VIVA SLAFKOVSKY
Demidov, will be in the lineup this year. New rules in Russia will allow him to leave his contractual agreement and I’m fully confident the Habs will take advantage of the opportunity and bring him into the top 6 formation.
russian rules changed but NHL didn’t so the team still can’t pay off the contract
@@pat181026yes they can please read the rules
Doesn't he have to go down to the VHL to come over? Everyone expects him to be the KHL next season.
@@kwizzeh there’s a very good chance he’ll be in Montreal with these new developments
@@pat181026 yes they can. he russian federation and the KHL disbanded with the IIHF . so they theoretically can directly pay the SKA if demidov doesn't have a guaranteed place . No VHL . its the Ska or Sotchi or NHL and with Kuznetsov comin to the Ska demidov is slotted to play for Sotchi like Michkov did last season.
TSN been busy hiring the baddies lots of Lalonde give it to us.😂
Baddies???? She’s hideous….put that same woman with a group of other women in a room. Or have her walk down king st. And she wouldn’t even stand out…..quit simping
Habs aren't going after major UFAs until '25 off season.
2025 will be the Habs coming up party.
DOES TSN RESPOND
No
Beautiful face and the lady is not bad either heheheeh
She use to play hockey and she is involve with the pwhl. At least they hired someone that has interest for hockey.
Only significant if he and his teammates can have a championship parade back on St-Catherine street again!
hellllo kenzie. 😍
Barron and Harris need to go, I don't know why we keep talking about this blue line log jam. Matheson isn't here for the long haul, neither is Savard, barron and harris just aren't good enough and they don't show a lot of promise. Ghule, Xhekaj, Struble should be locked and there's three good guys coming in the next season or two. Just move harris and barron, the hardest part is gonna be finding teams who value them.
Trading them for 3rd/4th round picks would be nice. I don't think we can get more than that, unless they have a stellar season coming up.
Please fix your volume. Good lord
What do you mean? Everything was fine for me!
What is wrong with the volume?
This kenzie chick easy on the eyes
Bunch of virgins in the comments lmfao. The future of the Habs is going to be very bright, even if they don't move out of the top 7 in the draft they still get another piece! Can't wait for next summer/fall though!
Honestly, most comments in this vid are pretty positive. You get the occasional Habs hater comment trying to talk shit but get shut down pretty quickly lol
We now have gen z UA-camrs doing the analysis on tsn? Oh how the mighty have fallen.
what the hell are you rambling on abt
She is better than Ron Maclean and Elliotte Friedman by far.
@@jeffyfielding3360 you're just saying that cuz she's hot.
@@DirtyDan77 No because she doesn't seem like leftist liberal scum with a CBC agenda...
Xhekaj doesn't need to go through waivers lmao... Couldn't even be bothered to check Capfriendly eh?
Capfriendly is down buddy.
Xhekaj absolutely does have to go through waivers now.
maybe learn the rules before saying false facts
If Suzuki is your #1 C, you aren’t winning anything
Even if Auston Matthews is you’re first center you aren’t winning anything apparently 😂
Don’t be so sure!
@@weatherboy4647 Auston is plenty good enough to be a Stanley Cup winner’s #1 C.
We already went to the Stanley cup finals with him as the #1 C @kavo588
@@yleaninq1358 fair but your team had Price, Danault, and Weber emptying their tanks, standing on their heads. those guys went legend mode that playoff run
