I like off road & hybrids offroad/tents. The old pop outs w/slide out & hybrids, & anything w/garage poss working design. Me 18ft min garage but most ppl just need to carry 4 wheelers or bikes.
Also Snoozy & 16ft Echo 5th wheels, C class 24ft ish sweet or 30ft ish or even 37ft 4by 4 450 Class C. Bigger than that & I am pulling it 5th wheel 3 axles or going Super C Me baby serious rig.
Class A is no brainer so long as it fits your needs length parking storing & not a daily or weekly rig your most likely 30ft+ 1/2 & 1/2 camping driving or just your " camping/fun " rig. Most ppl hve or will drive a quad cab 450 daily so that is what drives your choice.
Good information however a dealer is going to sell at a price that they want for the unit. You will not be able to negotiate it lower especially nowadays 2021/2022
tier 2 is 30ft real camper 6more ft of space & roof for panels & most likely a once a week driver max more like week up to 2 weeks sound option & any national park no bitching. Pull behinds over 30ft up to 36ft r tier 3 really towing & really camping & still 1 month any or almost any national park able.
New travel trailers are almost the same price as used so I don’t see why I should buy used when they are similar in price. I’m looking for a travel trailer to buy instead of renting an apartment.
Tier 5 is rock star 45ft ish max-ing out sky is the limit best of everything, your job is your mobile home Nascar etc why not double sinks, why not walk in closet, why not custom order jump off pnt from best model they make.
when I Am God RV-ing will get simplier & better & more standarized, like 2yrs new warranty, & ever RV must hve a min of 2500 lbs of cargo that can b add min above All the normal req equipment package include.
Even class B's need 2500 cargo min& this will reg better axles most likely no slides on this class. Engines & trans r under wt as well. Slike van class but just not "modern" RV able(batteries& solar& slides&extra stuff, your class C buddy). Most likely 450 right choice unless really short rig.
single axle trailers should really b a thing of the past & 2 axles new min standard unless under 3k new empty wt. Even then not enough safety margin for Me & hard to get 2500 add cargo wt min on 1 axle. Rather all corps start going other way say hydrid 7k or 8k axles *2.
That’s a really good question. I don’t think so. I’m hearing about prices all over the place. Dealers are scrambling to buy used units and leadtime for orders is pretty long. There doesn’t seem to be a formula or consistency to values right now. I personally would not be buying one at this time. Good luck!
@@Hugo-Hernandez I have heard of 6 to 12 month lead time to build an RV. I also know one manufacturer has stopped taking orders at all because they’re too far out.
I just got 26% off msrp tt. That is still available just search far and wide after you identify what you want. Local dealer offered 8% off and I walked away took my time located one at the price I wanted to pay.
My mom drove an 85' Vanagon pop top camper for yrs as daily driver. The original class B,& it was a poor camper & bad daily driver bad ask& bad combo. If u hve new class B diesel & they r a good daily driver but still bad camper or & van.
Jeff Woodard; then you need to look at the class B or B+. Leisure Travel Vans carry a great line as well as Pleasureway. Winnebago Navion is also great. There are also more budget friendly models out there.
Excellent video, I’ve learned the hard way because “I didn’t know what I didn’t know” until I learned!
Great video.

So 24ft ish or Hybrid 2 axle is tier1 going forward safe & durable 2 yrs protected. A true 15yrs life span 6 camps of week per yr bottom end model.
Tier 3 should b looking hopefully 3 axle or even 5th wheel much better choice.
Tier 4 is live in house like toy hauling hve it all 40 ish ft ck 1st can't fit here.
Tier 5 is rock star 45ft ish max-ing out sky is the limit best of everything, your job is your mobile home Nascar etc why not double sinks, why not walk in closet, why not custom order jump off pnt from best model they make.

Do the same hold true for Airstreams trailers as far as MSRP or 25%?

Do you think 20-30 % still applies today with the high demand ?

Thank you for response. I am going to try to wait for another year to see how the market goes then

One last question lol, I know you said you wouldn’t buy one now. How about for a new rv would you still wait ?

1:52 computer reboot & 1:55 &54 min into 'Cannon' Ep "Search & Destroy" air horn going off dramatic ending scene.
Basically the park anywhere daily or weekly driver/camper is a 450 or 350 C class 24ish rig.
I want an RV that I can live in and still drive everyday, so thinking of a Van type

Every 1 has an SUV that has tow range tier1 under 5k max
