It reminds me of the Giro 20 I had, except for front wheel size. I love that one-straight-tube main frame design. The Bella is a bit more complex, but the pedals aren't so high up in the air. I was happier with the Bella, which is a LWB mid-lo version. Being aluminum, it's much stiffer and a bit lighter than the EZ Racer Gold Rush I had.
I believe that there are 2 alternatives to cushion the bike and your body. is to put some springs up and down the frame of the chair like the funcyle or put an air mattress or purple gel
From what I see, the center of mass seems to be on the rear wheel. Is this a problem for steering? I have a Baron which is front-heavy and rides sketchy on any other than perfect, dry tarmac. Pity that it seems so difficult to balance recumbents for non-average sized riders.
Would this be a good recumbent bike to start on? It has an affordable price compared to other similar recumbents. I'm looking for a relatively fast bike. I have decades of mountain bike experience. Cheers
I like this bike as an entry point to recumbents. It is easy to ride, and is versitle enough for casual to serious rides on pavement. Due to the narrow tires and frame design I would stay on pavement.
In the front I can fit a 28mm tire with room to spare and the rear tire is only limited by the brake you use. I have an Ultegra rear brake and a 32mm tire fits fine.

I had a Bacchetta giro 26 since 2005. I just upgraded to a Bacchetta carbon aero...love it!!

The Bella is a good model especially if you don't want your feet that high.

Hi What’s your opinion of the Barcroft Virginia

Whats the difference between this and the CarbonAero 3.0 and Im assuming you can fit rim brakes on both.
It is basically the same bike other than the frame material.
What's the difference in weight between the frames?
@@michaelfasher around 3 or 4 pounds
Bacchettas are great bikes, the balance is tough
do you know what the max tire clearance is with the 700c wheel?
On the front fork, there is only about 5mm clearance at the top. Road tires work great, but I don't think I would try something with a knobby tread.

I appreciate the content but that bike looks too small for you.
Maximal speed mph? 😅 Aero dinamis
I supose that would depend on the engine and the incline. I got it up around 25mph on flat ground.

I'm 55 and I maintain a cadence of 20mph. Low air drag.
