What a treat to see ! Thanks to all the people who designed this wonderful display on the train ! Made my holidays for sure ! Worked on the Delaware and Hudson/Amtrack Adirondack in the sit down dining car years ago! Albany to Montreal run ! Happy Holidays ! Thanks for sharing !
Awesome video. Gives a whole new meaning to " The early bird gets the worm ". Night shots were particularly sharp. They did a super job on the McAdam station too.
I was driving back from Maine to home (Halifax) on Thursday evening and saw this as we were going through St. John. my passenger was able to get a partial video but it's so nice to be able to see the whole train! The little bit that we were able to see as we were driving by was awesome.
Love to hear these special holiday moments are spreading and reaching more! Great video! Thanks for sharing. We will have to check out more of your videos. We enjoyed seeing the CPKC Holiday train pass by Tomah and Tunnel City Wisconsin, again this year- shared a video, as well. Really nice catches on this video!
So out fanned is the Holiday train! So happy not to be in those crowds! You got awesome video of the decorations on the Railroad equipment!👏👏👏. Thanks for sharing with us loners!
Magnificent catches of the Holiday train coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars. Thumbs up. Hearing that amazing diesel sound and cars coming through is absolutely crazy. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, I just liked and subscribed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to Canadá.
Just like to see a train down here in Florida all decorated for Christmas.... Traveling through Pinellas County !!! It would truly amaze the folks down here....Specially in the St. Petersburg / Clearwater Area ....😊
Great video, love the McAdams station , we don't see anything like that here in southren ontario, the christmas train does come to london but nothing like the lights on the station . baa humbug
Such a shame CPKC can't be bothered to give those box cars some much needed love and a paint job. Some of those wheels sound like their ready to fracture.
@@Opinionatedguy1989Irving has actually owned the tracks and Right of Way since 1941, and leased it to CP from 1941 until their abandonment East of Montreal in 1994. I could see a similar situation happen again, but Irving will not let the Right of Way go.
Irving wont sell. CP made a offer in 2021 and they were told that JDI is fine with moving traffic for them, but they wont sell. Irving isn't in the railroad business for the reasons other railroad companies are. For the price of maintenance, crude oil, and manpower they are able to move raw materials to their mills and finished products west for what is pennies on the dollar. Considering CPKC can't even manage to keep container contract, the mixed freight Irving creates is keeping the former CMQ network profitable. No matter the agreement, CPKC couldn't match those prices without loosing their hides. Additionally, the Irvings have seen how CPKC hasn't been able to staff their Atlantic Division which has lead to consistent service disruptions, which is why they entered the railroad business in the first place. Bottom line is there isn't a price or agreement CPKC could make which could get Irving to sell. The railroad is too much of an integral part of their lumber, wallboard, paper, fuel, and agriculture divisions to hand over to someone else.
As a much older person now , I love these Christmas moments even more!
No matter how old we are, there will always be a child inside us. 😁

Amazing to see that NB Southern system hosted CPKC's Holiday Train with the help of their own SD70M-2. Especially at that decorated station
I just got back from there. I knew you'd have a video up about this. :)
Fantastic video! The NBSR SD70 upfront was a really nice touch, and McAdam station looked great!

Very cool.
