Although I used to minimize their dominance in the marketplace, it only took one hit of a buddy's old R11s to open my eyes to their performance and innovation. Callaway has excellent equipment but TM rules the metalwood world! Please keep the awesome content coming Al! And DAMN, you can certainly drive a golfball!!😁👍👍👍

Would like to see the SIM vs the standard Mavrik (not the sub zero), and I think there's a need to be fitted for each of those drivers before a H2H (shaft is important and would also depend on the specific head weight too). Thanks for all the great videos and most of all for your sense of humor! we have fun watching you!
Why not do a video where you grab the lowest spinning heads of 4 of the major companies and fit them to yourself with the aim of getting the lowest spin. Therefore have a competition for the driver with the lowest spin. And also see how far you can get them out there? Another great video Al. Loving every single one.
Great video Al, I was wondering if you had the heavier weight up front in the Mavrik? I believe Matty at TXG crushed the 361 yard with the standard Mavrik. You could possibly get more ball speed from that one also. Either way I love watching you rip it.

I wish I could get my spin above 2k with the SIM. I’ve tried lofting up but then I’m launching it at 14-16 and my spin is at 1.8k. Even swapped out the ventus 6x w/ velocore and put the pro 2.0 in it to help get spin up. What were you launching the sim at?
Team Taylormade. I gave up a tiny bit of distance when fitted for my M4 to hit more fairways vs the Rogue. Results have been the same for me each year when testing these two brands. Still play my M4
I am a massive fan of Taylormade but I’ve had issues with twist face in the past. These callaways have impressed me. I think it’s Mavrik for me these days
I have bn multiple taylormade driver user for 15 years but i switched to callaway marvik sub zero this yr purely down to the fact of the massive spin reduction it gave me during the fitting .
Good stuff mate. That said, there is no driver in my book that sounds as good as the TS3. That said, I prefer the sound and look of the Maverick more. Moreover, one can custom order the look of it in different colors. As for trying to hit it like Matty...you need the right shaft bud. Having Ian in his pocket comes in handy. Lastly, he was not hitting the Subzero...he had the regular one, which is not his driver. :P

Tbf Matt waa playing on an undulating fairway and i think got a little bit of a shooter with the bounce. But was a massive hit. Your dispersion was ridiculous, imagine doing that on a golf course you would be killing it.
I tried the sub zero, but like my striking ability, I've compared it to the corona distancing between people. But in the same breath, I'm getting the same figures from my max compared to the sub.

Up until about 8 months ago, I would’ve been team Callaway...no doubt!!! However, it’s now, not October 2019, so I have to go team Taylormade. I tested same drivers in fitting and for “me”, it wasn’t a comparison. The Sim outperformed the Mavrik...by a lot. Did I bring my own preconceptions and were my swings with Sim unconsciously better, very very possible. Just look at the pro stable for TM compared to Callaway. After Xander, Phil, and Kisner...who else do they have??
Seems like the SIM's design is to get the ball up in the air no matter what, it's got a super low and far back CoG. Not for me, but it appeals to a lot of golfers out there.
I think that Matt from TXG somehow grabbed lightening in a bottle with that driver. It was way way longer than every other model. Plus his monitor was showing his ball running like crazy so idk 😬
I'm a cobra man gaming the speedzone was fitted against both these two drivers felt more comfortable with thr cobra but the mavrik gave me the longest drives but the cobra dispersion was better. I would choose the mavrick all day over Taylormade on looks. If only the cobra wasn't so dam good in my hands the mavrik would be in the bag
Matty had the Ventus Black (low/low) in his Mav (standard not SZ), and you're rocking a stock Riptide(mid/mid). Get fitted AL! ;) Then you'll get the 360 easy!

I actually have a Mavrik SZ and I will say the heavy weight is in the back on your one. Put that GD IZ6 shaft in it and it will not be able to know the word spin. I put a HZRDUS Hnadcrafted black in mine and that's exactly what happened 🤣

At first they sounded the same to me, but when he tested them separately I notice a little more muted tone in the SIM

Alex, you need to get TXG Ian to get you fitted then push that green out to 350 and out the software on to dry settings and get stuck in! 💥

I just had a driver fitting and out of everything the SIM was the winner.
Never been a fan of TM but I can’t argue with the SIMS performance.
I love txg but if you are comparing, I feel they have there roll set at an unbelievable level. If you watch Matt gets like 20 yards some times.
