Pete, I look for your videos every day. You and Rick have improved my game quite a bit. You both make my day so please... Allow me to thank you! Keep up the great work!
Hey pete!! Thank you for all the help, I know you don't realize this but you've helped my game so much! Wish you all the best with your new adventures ahead!
As a 65 yr old golfer, I've been using a TSi2 with an Autoflex SF505x. I like the club's sound and, for me, it keeps me in the fairway. Great videos. Keep up the good work.
Australia ..eastern seabord from Sydney to Brisbane cannot be beaten... The best mild temps and best golf weather on the planet... Got ya there yankies😁
I've got to say that I found you through Rick, however just off comparing your reviews of the same drivers, the amount of effort and the explanation given from yourself makes me wish you had more subs, much deserved. Hope you keep growing and I look forward to the course vlogs!
Nice job Pete. I'm 64 years old. When I was alot younger I traded in uncontrolled swing (slice) for accuracy. 220 was probably my best in my 30s. Now I'm happy with 190 to 200. Won more matches that way. You on the other hand is on a quest. Have fun and good luck
I used to use a Titleist driver, I had the 975D and J and loved them. Now I play the M6 and it's far and away the best driver for me. Bang on review, better than the others I've seen. And what a funny man! Love it.
I'm still hitting my Cleveland HiBore Monster 9.5° Draw. I love it! I'm a 17 handicap, and hit this reliably down the middle for 250-260 carry. In the summer, sometimes I get lucky and pure one for 290-300! It always surprises me and I feel superhuman as a 48 year old mortal human. 😉
Appreciate the fact that you compare against a competing product and state that this is your swing. Makes a huge difference. I love the sound of the Tietlist vs the Sim, makes you want to keep hitting. Shape behind the ball is of old but sturdy and elegant. Thanks Peter Finch.
@@j-dizzel3676 well Rick Shiels golf has over a million and he carries it 250 and here is peter carrying over 300 on a consistent basis yet 300k no hate on rick tho
Dang! Your swing has gotten faster over the years. I’m 68 so it’s all downhill for me. I got similar results testing the TSi3 and the SIM. 238 carry with the Titleist and 246 with the Taylormade. On the course the SIM runs out 20+ yards more but I chose the TSi3. Why? Looks. Just love that Titleist purity. SIM looks like a plastic toy. Consistency. Just looking down at address gives me confidence I’ve never had and I don’t miss many fairways. Marketing. I’ve played mostly Taylormade since the original Pittsburgh Persimmon but lately as soon as I get a new Taylormade, they’re releasing a “new and improved” model. Titleist brings out new drivers every two years or so. Great vids as always, Peter.
Im trying to build a set. I recently switched from Mizuno blades to titliest. Played with Mizuno for years so it was a huge decision. I'll probaly go with a sim but I need to try the tsi3
Using epic flash sub zero , best driver iv ever tried and just suited me so much better than other drivers I was fitted for, not just extra distance but also accuracy a bit, 2 wins within 9 weeks of having it at the club
Brilliant edit. Really enjoy the way you use the bloopers to help narrate it. How come you fade the ball more on the course than on the Sim? Is it conscious decision to have more control?
Loving the look of the new TSi driver ITS JUST BEAUTIFUL. Never got on with the Taylormade options, always found them too low spinning. Will defo get out and demo the new TSi options. So shiny!!!
Just got my sim driver in the mail today and I can’t wait to try it on the course. Everyone is having the problem with too low of spin and the ball dropping out of the air with sim. I was in need of a new driver after I cracked my ts3. I tried the sim off the rack and I was having the problem with really low spin and the ball not staying up on the launch monitor. I scheduled a fitting for a new driver and the sim won. I had to loft up to 10.5 and the fitter put me into a low-mid launch shaft. I was getting average 13 degrees of launch with 2300 spin carrying out to 290+ yards. I naturally am a low spin player with the driver and struggle to get the ball up. But the fitting I had with sim was excellent. The only way I can find out if it’s good is out on the course.
Hey Peter, you have a natural fade for your shots does the toe 2 position straighten this up in the Ti3 and does the SIM Driver have the same sort of settings. Very good review at the moment I am using the TS3.
I have (had) the M5 and cracked the hosel. Taylormade is replacing with SIM and I can't wait. Only problem is it will arrive post my golf season and I will have to wait until next year to hit it. Knowing taylormade they will release a new driver line February but at least they warrantied my M5!
I'm a mid handicap player with a tendency to slice the ball, and I recently went to a pro shop to get fitted for a new driver to replace the M4 regular stock shafted driver I had. I've tested the following drivers: TaylorMade SIM, Callaway Mavrik and Mavrik MAX, Ping G410 SFT, Callaway Epic Flash, Titleist TS2. The SIM, Mavrik, and TS2 were all out because I lost distance and didn't feel confident with the strike. The Ping G410 sounded great, but the look didn't quite catch my attention. So the Mavrik MAX was what I ended up settling on, and what a difference it made. Yes I've hit a few wayward shots, but the pro gave me a few pointers to fix my impact and the ball went flying. Ladies and gents, do not hesitate to go to your local pro shop to get fitted for a new driver, yes the money is well worth it, and you'll get the chance to test a variety of drivers so that you'll get a better feel for it. For me the Mavrik MAX was the most forgiving, however each person has a different swing and address, so you need to try those drivers out before buying one, you will not regret it.
Gaming the Cobra F9 heavy weight in the rear with a Oban Miyoshi purple shaft 1/2 shorter!! Love it !!! Mid 90s swing speed hitting around 250 on a perfect hot lol !! Thanks great video !!! You should do an update on your what's in your bag haven't seen in a while !! Hope your still hitting those mizuno irons!!!!????
Just picked up a SIM this week after being absolutely floored at the numbers I was getting. Store only had one X-Stiff shaft left, and it was the HZDRS 70G. I’ve never swung a club so smoothly to start hitting 170-180 ball speed. Took it to the range for the first time today and it was night and day from my old driver, in terms of dispersion. Gotta hand it to TM, their R&D Team hit a knock-out with this one. Although, I’m gonna be reeling for a while from that price tag 😖 Bloody expensive game!
Great to see a release by you, Matt and Rick on the same day for reviewing the TS2 and 3, great coordinated approach so subscribers can move between the 3 channels and compare each review , good way to increase views , likes and comments
Interesting video. I have 5 calloway Woods which are about 6 years old. Driver is an 11 degree Big Bertha. The head is so small and I guess the sweet spot smaller too. But I am well used to it and can hit it straight down the middle. Don't think playing off 18 it's worth changing atm. Better to spend time working on chipping on the green.
As others have said. Great to see the direct comparison between old and new. Also lovely to see that comparison being out on the course shame it wasn't longer.
Just bought the Callaway Maverik buddy not used it yet it arrives tomorrow in a firm shaft but looking forward to crushing some drives with it! Keep up the great content your reviews are quality buddy love your enthusiasm for the game!! Legend
Looking for some opinions. I currently play the tailor-made R 15. I know this is was made in 2015. I’m sure I should upgrade but what I expect to see significant differences in distance? I guess I would define significant as 10 to 15 yards added to my drives. Thanks for any opinions out there.
Hey Pete! Great vid! Always fun to watch! M1 2017, gone through too many to find one I like. Gonna have this one for awhile. Tensei CK Blue 60gm shaft. Going to definitely get fitted next time I purchase a driver!
Currently use the white Taylormade R15. Great distance but miss the feel of my old steel shafted Taylormade Copper Headed Driver. Loved the weight and sound. Love my current driver but should've went for black but not happy with the sound. Love your vids.
Great video Pete. A real honest appraisal. Having tried a few more ‘modern’ drivers I still play my Ping G2. As you say, you get used to the feel and sound of your regular driver. I will have to replace soon though. The TSi3 certainly looks similar....
My driver is a TaylorMade RBZ stage 2 driver but alterations will be made in the off season. First of all I'm going to get a new grip on it and secondly I'm going to be looking to get a new shaft in it
Been loving these reviews on these clubs! New to golf and I bought a sim off the shelf.... took my son to the range during my first level and he snapped the shaft, never knew a fitted club was a thing long story short the club pro hooked me up on the trackman and I was fitted with a stiff rogue shaft 9 degrees I gained so much off the fitting so even tho I had to fork out more cash breaking it was the best thing for me
Great vid mate, and I am considering the Titleist ts or Tsi2 because of it, I am currently using the taylormade m4, which don't get me wrong, is a great club...but the twist face...I seem to have more errant shots with this than I did with the M2.
@@applesheepmy6821 i am enjoying it for sure. It is a great deal better than my old SLDR. I hit about 0% fairways with that ugly bugger. If I aimed for the first fairway I would hit the 2nd on any neighbouring course. The black sure bettered my view of drivers lol

Hello Mr. Finch. Great comparison. BUT as always, this is a pro swinging! What are your thoughts for us mid-handicappers(10-18) where less spread may be preferred to a few extra yards?

I'm in the TSI3. Came down to SIM and it but SIM was just a bit too low spin for my swing. Few too many dive bombers. I'm now seeing if the TSI fairway can knock out the SIM 5 wood in my bag. A dubious proposition for sure...
Great as usual Pete one of the few who make watching the whole video easy and not too serious , I’m currently using the Sim, I tried mine before I bought it against my old driver and found an average 30 yard increase, my sim 3 wood now matches my old driver for distance which gives me more accuracy on fairways with my driver now being the big dog for par 5s to go after it 👍 if I could hit it as far as you I would never see it land 😂
Play the TS2 and love it, when hit from the middle of the club face. Off center hits are pretty punishing though, especially if hit high on the face 🤷♂️
I am using the Sim Max x stiff 9,5°. I am a 3 hcp and that Driver Change my Game much! I Play the P790 Irons and a nice spider Putter. Next year i Hope i gonna be a Scratch golfer. I Love your Videos Peter! Keep it going. Greetings from germany 🇩🇪😃
Man I have a old taylor made r5 driver. It is hands down the best driver I ever had. I have course tested and range tested the Sim m6 and and a few others. The sound that comes off the face of my old r5 when you hit it in the middle is awesome better than a lot of the new technology.
Hi Peter - Love your videos and content! Gaming the TS3 right now but looking to change to go to a stiffer shaft. Maybe the shaft you have in your TS3? Who knows! Will get fit for it in any case.

Who knows! Will get fit for it in any case.
love the video Pete. when we gonna get a updated Pete vs Rick video again ???
