- Creeping death in eb tuning (half step down)
Lyrics:
Slaves
Hebrews born to serve, to the pharaoh
Heed
To his every word, live in fear
Faith
Of the unknown one, the deliverer
Wait
Something must be done, four hundred years
So let it be written, so let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one
So let it be written, so let it be done
To kill the first born pharaoh son
I'm creeping death
Now
Let my people go, land of Goshen
Go
I will be with thee, bush of fire
Blood
Running red and strong down the Nile
Plague
Darkness three days long, hail to fire
So let it be written, so let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one
So let it be written, so let it be done
To kill the first-born pharaoh son
I'm creeping death
Die by my hand
I creep across the land
Killing first-born man
Die by my hand
I creep across the land
Killing first-born man
I
Rule the midnight air, the destroyer
Born
I shall soon be there, deadly mass
I
Creep the steps and floor, final darkness
Blood
Lamb's blood, painted doors, I shall pass
So let it be written, so let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one
So let it be written, so let it be done
To kill the first-born pharaoh son
I'm creeping death

May James's old voice rest in peace lml
I actually like his new voice tbh
\m/
His voice up to the Black Album. After that album... thrash days ended and then came Load and Reload... not bad albums actually but Metallica albums Kill em All to the Black Album is true Metallica. 🤘🏼
@@JacksonGuitarsPlayer03 But they have come back to their thrash style again since Death Magnetic.
@@unromanoarecareanaveragero8275 yea Hardwired is thrashy. They are considered thrash metal
Sounds amazing!
3:38 heavy as FUCK
It sounds like a slayer song, and i'm here for it!

You realize the album was recorded a quarter step high? This is technically a quarter step flat, not true Eb. That's why it sounds slightly out of tune if you play along.
ok
It’s quarter step down like Megade-
when you realise you were wrong, they just made the song a bit faster, that's why it sound a bit out of tune
So, it’s just a sound illusion?
Regular standard tuning is at 440 hz they tuned to 445 hz, slightly higher pitched
lol this is how they play it live now (:
Indeed!
play it at 1.1 speed then it will be a live concert
0:20 \m/
Playback 1.25x
Sound familiar anyone?
3:56 melhor parte sem dúvidas.
Solo at 2:45
Sounds badass but think it’s slightly off
If you want the correct Eb tuning to play along, you can visit my channel I've uploaded it !
slightly above eb tuning :(
I think only For Whom the Bell Tolls was slightly sharp as you describe, to be in tune with the bell.
Nope it’s not because it had to be in tune with the bell
I think it was an anvil
Maybe i dont have elitist audiophile ears, but when I tune down to eb and play along, I don't notice any difference in tuning. Quarter step higher or whatever, it sounds eb to me.
There is a slight difference. It’s barely noticeable. But because I’m a synesthetic, it makes me uncomfortable. I can’t tell you exact notes with 100% accuracy, but I can tell you if it’s out of tune. This is less than a quarter step flat. It’s like 4hz flat.
6:23
Eb sounds like AC DC
They played in E standard a lot.
yeaahhh....E flat legendry tuning rock and blues jazz.
more improvement yours
every styles genre.
0:19-0:25 Skin O My Teeth, anyone?
How did I not notice this???!!! Thanks for pointing that out.😁👍🏿
Similar phrasing, but they’re played differently
not Eb but yeah
Fail every time to not go DIE DIE DIE DIE 😂
