I remember when a 450 was considered "big bore" in the world of ATVs. This well presented video proves how capable a 500 KQ really is and loved how these experienced riders were having safe fun through technical trails. What a great day out! More videos like this please.
I think my 2001 was a Honda Rubicon new and I thought it was a monster...so true so true. Mike and Don are great riders and men. I group has been in and out of Suzuki ATV's I can tell you they are reliable and strong...you wouldn't think so first looking at them but they are. Ride safe and thank you for commenting.
I am Don on the white Kingquad in the video, and I felt just as excited watching it as I did riding it just two days ago!! Amazing footage that is rarely seen. Mirauder, your passion in the voice captures exactly how we all feel out there on the trail no matter the weather or terrain. I will bet Demons elbow has never been captured on video...who in their right mind would walk down there to do it? LOL. Thank you for the kind recognition and compliments. Don are we truly lucky or what! What a great riding group, and your the leader organizing the rides, and Mikey's leading us on the trail...love it! Honestly i was so excited before during and after this ride i couldn't sleep...it's like a drug natural high. @@donschlonski2936 thanks for the reply! I have a 2019 750 kingquad. So far i love it. I put 26 inch itp terracross radials on but when i did i got shake on the front end. I returned 1 of the front tires because it looked out of round while spinning. I put a new front tire on and it seemed better but still there. I have the tires on cheap aftermarket wheels. I think might remount them on the factory steel wheels it came with.

I have a king quad myself and love it. It’s the only wheeler that I have been able to whoop on and not break. I’ve had horrible luck with Polaris and Kawasaki. I met a guy in Montana that had over 8k on his king quad and they were ranching miles. He sold me on Suzuki after that.
I'm not a Japanese bike person, i had a Honda and Yamaha i wasn't impressed with. But these 2 brothers have impressed me with their Suzuki ATV's. You are correct, they are very well designed and built. Thank you for watching and commenting, i hope i did your machine justice in the video.
Sweet. I've put 1200 miles on mine in a year, since its warmer in the south I can go almost all year. Lol. I figured paying so much for a machine I'm going to ride it like crazy esp since I did the service contract, gotta make em work for it. Lol. I'm over half way having that paid off in just a year.
For the price and the features you get I’d have to agree with ya ,I’ve seen them with over 20000 miles And with the new oil jet they just added they made there stupid reliable engine even more reliable
@@shanebarnett4249 they did the below piston jet like the old high revving Honda vtec engines. Ive put 1800 miles on mine with no issues. Another buddy has one just like mine and he busted a tie rod at the same place ive helped load a broken tie rod Yamaha lol. And he got a coolant leak at a hose, something pictured it in the mud hole. I avoid breakable situations with mine.
Love the camera angles. I have a 08 king quad axi 750 with 3100km on it. And so far no issues. Love it. I also had a sportsman 2006 500ho and it had 5500km on it and never had any issues with it. Just ware parts that had to be replaced. So I think it’s all in how you take care of the atv. Not how you ride cause that Polaris was ridden hard and put away wet. If you know what I mean.
Last time I broke through ice I ripped off two CV boots. Now I just go around. Nice video. I have a 2011 King Quad 750 with Maxxis VIPR tires on it and I love it.
I definitely love the camera angles Marauder!! Great vid, I think the fact that polaris and canam make 1000cc machines leads people to believe that they have to have one that big to have fun.. Most guys won't hit the limit of their 700 or 750, let alone a 1000..
That's exactly what i want my viewers to understand...as usually you are on target. Chad isn't the point to get in the hobby on something, anything even a sport quad and ride the outdoors! BTW I'm one of those guys that won't get near the limits of the 1000...maybe even a child's 160cc. Chad i don't think my brothers have ever replaced a suspension bushing...can you believe that! Only issue I've seen is axle boots...but for the love of God they're breaking 2" of ice to get to the mud. So many great machines out there, like your videos all of us are splitting hairs and wouldn't want to live on the difference. As always thank you for commenting my UA-cam Consigliere!
I let off my king quad on the turbo track at durhamtown at 64mph, or is still pulling then too. Lol. I put a deposit on a 500 and they had a 750 with a bad paint spot, so I got it for less than the 500 so I took it. 0 regrets on that one. I've put 1200 miles on it in a year and it's been flawless.
@@maraudermitchelli I like the can am ones also. They look sharp. They had a higher prove tag than I wanted for a similar model. Some of the extras on the can ams you pay for. One guy has a new 570 Outlander and one an XMR.
@@maraudermitchelli also very good camera work on the trails. I wad thinking about getting a couple of cheaper cans to mount on the machine like you did, my hero 7 I wint do that with, a $100 cam I can do that with.
GREAT footage Peter! After my shopping around to replace my tree flattened 09 Kingquad 500. I think I will get a Kingquad 750 as a replacement.......not always the latest and greatest. But always starts, always reliable.
Our guys like them, although Mikey had switched to a Kodiak. Kq are good performers. That’s the machine you feel comfortable with then go for it. I’m getting tired of snow ❄️
I have an old 05 700 KQ and it is leaps and bounds above my '18 sportsman quality wise. Its been 1 issue after another with the sportsman, glad i bought the warranty

I love mine. I'm meeting up with someone I met on UA-cam to ride who bought one recently just like mine. Finally Suzuki's will be even with the can am rides in the group. Lol
@@maraudermitchelli we arent on lockdown in Ga. We can still go to parks etc, ride bikes, go walking and exercise. No groups of over 10 was their suggestions. I won't meet them until iron mountain opens up. I have 168 acres of city land right next to me I can ride on for now and play in the creek. Lol. We are gearing up for night riding around here actually.
Another great video. I know all about that dip in the RH track at Demon Elbow. Last week it was snow and ice and we had some trouble getting out of there.

@@maraudermitchelli We rode there Monday 3/10 and it was delightful. More dirt than snow now. Even a couple of dusty spots. A couple of folks came down from Buffalo and attempted the water holes at the "Onion Bowl". We pulled them out, ha ha.

Hi Pete, I gotta say I am seriously thinking of buying a King Quad. I owned a Suzuki Vinson 500 for 20 years. I am so unhappy with our Ca Am dealership here in Calgary. The purchase of my sons Outlander Max XMR has been a nightmare. It just makes me want to sell my Defender and go back to the tried and true.
Mark I hear you. I've never owned a King Quad, but Sam, Mikey and Don in our group have owned them and like them very much. They are so different than a Can Am or Polaris as far as bling, power, technology. They appear to be extremely reliable, and well built. Only issue I've seen is the axle boots are stick magnets...no stats on that. Great machine I just followed Sam's King Quad on the trail last week. I'm sorry you're having issues with your dealer I hope it gets sorted out. I hope I helped a little bit.
There's not a big following here for King quads and it's a shame. Suzuki has been so stagnant in the past decade that they have been loosing ground to all the other brands with the constant updates and new models. I currently have a 2018 Grizzly and I'm interested in a king quad. Does the King Quad have a plush suspension or still sprung stiff? Reviews are inconsistent with some people saying it's stiff and others saying it's plush. The grizzly suspension is very plush, more so than the Sportsman I had previously. My grizzly is having some engine trouble and if not corrected, I'm going to get a King Quad. I just need it to be soft.
I'm not an expert on KingQuads. None of our guys have complained about the suspension. I strongly recommend you test drive one before you purchase. I agree with you it appears Suzuki is trying to catch up to the rest of the market...they've come along way in the last year. It's a shame you're having problems with you Yamaha that's an excellent machine. I've seen some people add a tuner to get rid of a engine ping and backfire. I own a new 22 king quad 750. All stock including tires. It's a very soft ride for me. Eats up the trail nicely. I notice these things because I have a bad back. Hopefully this helps.
ITP Terracross in my opinion is the best trail tire and excellent in the snow. They are an awesome tire. But please please research on your own. Happy New Year

Suzuki’s quality on the king quads is right on the door steps of being as good as Honda

New Honda's don't cut it,I have friends that have them and told me themselves honda have slipped

Ice is bad for boots I don't like it. Our guys struggled with the Kingquad axle boots...only issue i saw...even with twigs. Stay healthy

I bought a 2019 in the brown plastic. Love the color. Only have 96 miles on it use it mostly for pushing a homemade snowblower attachment.

I live in northern MN and drive a Can Am 570. If you were to recommend a tire, what would it be? I also use it to plow snow.

I love my KQ 750. Mine is a 2019 also, I've been recording the trips to durhamtown and iron mountain lately.
