I love so much this XC40 Recharge, I am trying to convince my parents to change it. And sold the Model 3, and buy this XC40 EV.
In Spain the Model 3 LR costs --> 56.020€
The XC40 Recharge --> 55.360€
I know has less range, but it is better for our diferents points of view.

Ron it is hard to say....I like more SUV but the range is less 😪Tomorrow I go te Review new C40 electric and I think is better in terms of range 🙂👍

SUGESTION: Would be nice, that in every EV you test drive, you could reset the consumption. So at the end, you could tell us which is the average consumption. So we can get an idea for the range in real life :)

Yes I did try to do it but I forgot at the end to say about it. It is around 234 kWh. But depend on many factors 🙂👍
@@SDADanCars 23.4 kWh/100 km is not bad, considering you did a number of accelerations :)
Yes indeed. I think at speeds under 100km you can get good numbers at least in summer or at temperature over 10c 👍

Yes in USA will be better over 500km ....depend how many km you drive. The car is great 👍

Too expensive and medium range. It will be a hard sell along side the Tesla Y and model 3 with 580km range. As a Volvo owner for the last 11 years I still find the interior missing many things.

Compared to any Tesla, the XC40 actually has an interiror. Very similar to the ICE version. I've had it for about 7 weeks and its fantastic. As for range, the average driver drives 40 miles a day - I drive 30 miles round trip daily, plus a few extra if I run some errands. I'm getting closer to 240 a charge. No anxiety here.
