Thanks for watching and your questions. Unfortunately you guys only see the final edited show which needs to fit in 25 minutes. You do not see the lead up and showings prior of all the homes we show the Buyers. In the show we only have time to review the 3 homes which the Buyers have chosen and as their short list.
Thank you for watching and your question. Why? Because that is part of the process. Keep in mind that you are only seeing the final 20 minutes of a process that started with Buyers long before the final show. Don't forget this is also a TV show, we like to delight our viewers, and show a range of luxury homes at different price points. Buyers are also very aware of their budget, and sometimes want/need to see what they can't have, can have, what they don't want, want etc... to really deduce what works for them and their budget, and finally which home is the prefect fit for them. In the end, a Buyer always buys what they emotionally connect to and often times it incentives them to come up in budget and spend more on what they really want to buy.
@@dreamlivingLA That's a sweet answer. As a home buyer myself, I know it's easy to have an idea of what your budget can get you which isn't always realistic to the market. Even if those were the only three you showed you did an excellent job!

That first house is a really bad idea. It's surrounded by fuel for fire season and the landslide possibility is terrifying.
House number two is the best one-- remodel that kitchen top your own liking.
Can’t agree more. House #1 is a disaster. Number 2 u can redo the kitchen and bathrooms to modernize home. Get a designer and decorate the outside and inside to make it your own style.
Only the mountain houses burn, the wildfires don't go to the beach, relax.

Tatiana you should respect the buyers budget, she said 4-7 million and you showed her 16 million thats a stretch if it was 10 million that wouldn't be so bad but 16 million.

dreamlivingLA I like your comment. I always want to see what I can’t have. Ultimately, I can never be so rationale about my own budget. My budget is always flexible with what I can select from and what I feel good about.

great decision! House number 2 is kinda old fashioned but the location is just amazing... so with a half million or maybe less they can raise the value easily to 10 millions
That 1st house is on a super busy road even though you can see the ocean from the second floor it would be difficult to cross the street.😂😂😂😂

I'm reading the comments and it's ironic, because most folks are dead on correct and most of the "money families" actually live back away from the beach in Pelican Hill (Newport Coast) and Laguna Niguel (East of the beach homes she was being shown). More land, larger homes, and usually for about 25% less than the ones on top of the beach....with even more amazing views.

I absolutely love Laguna Beach. My husband and I considered a home on the Montage resort property. We settled on east coast beach front in Isle of Palms instead. It’s a second home and we also rent it. Laguna is EXTREMELY expensive; a small home there can be 30M. East coat is 4-10M for 7,000 sq ft. Of course, the west coast weather can’t be beat. Love this channel.

Try getting out of Laguna Beach during the summer....get ready for a lot of tourists and traffic. Better value elsewhere.

I like number 3 better but no. 2 has the potential. Once the house has been updated to a modern, if they ever consider selling the house, they can probably get x2 or higher the price coz of the private beach.

For a beach side house, house 3 did not have any windows. Its not as airy as it should be
