Excuse, what is this BL you speak of? This guy had me at *steps out from behind the pillar*. He's perfect. I can't explain it. Not the typical manly man, but not the pretty boy standard. And his smile seriously made me lose brain cells! I must see more of this actor! He's got the role down to a T here! It's like he popped out of some manga into real life!

I watched this mainly to see Akaso Eiji after loving him as Adachi in Cherry Magic... what a different character! Weird to see him so confident and comfortable when I’m so used to his shy stuttering. He’s an especially brilliant comedic actor - he doesn’t get to show off his comedic talents so much here!
This is funny coz i watched Nee Sensei first and search for his other work and see that hes upcoming series would be BL was kinda like meh 😅 but still watched it when it came out. It was not until the episode where he hit his head in the elevator wall I was like woah it was soo damn funny 🤣🤣🤣 and yes I agree hes quite good in comedy. 😂😂
Agree with you...it's really hard to pull comedic character because you can be over acting but eiji doing comedy acting style perfectly without being over acting...comedy definitely his forte and really hope he will get more funny bright role in the future..

woah I think this is the first Japanese drama I've seen where they don't overemphasize their expressions to the point where it puts me off. and I haven't watched a jdrama in so long bc of that but looks like I should dig for more now haha. Love how much more natural and realistic it is.

When this drama first aired I watched it with my eyes glued to it. I randomly got recommended to watching it here again and was SHOOK that the actor was the same person from Cherry Magic. I saw this first but he plays both character so well. Like, I’m remembering some of the stuff he does in this show and 😮. He’s a really good actor 👏👏👏💐

The girl from 1:17 is Kotoko from Itazura na kiss (mischievous kiss) if anyone's seen that drama!
This was on my recommended for a looooong time and I only had time to watch it now but I'M SO GLAD I DID! It was so refreshing to see a male lead that pursues the girl in a sweet way and doesn't treat her badly(I just watched Mischievous Kiss from this channel too so it's a great contrast to see someone like Riichi compared to Irie Naoki lol). Totally a modern drama with more feminist cues. It's also short and only 6 episodes long!

Ooooh, I’m actually very curious about who were the directors and producers for this drama. Compared to other Japanese drama/movies that I’ve seen, this style is parallel to the ones in Korea(especially the ones coming from Webdramas, Webtoon and Manhwa).
the same observation! i really don't like to watch korean so when i saw this serie the style, decoration, even actors has a shining skin like them. I was totallt sure japan from their language i could distinguish.
Right?? In the first few seconds of watching the video, I was completely hooked. Most Kdramas don't have the same feel and usually begin with the climax or tragic backstory. This was so cute and bubbly, I could feel my heart racing. It was totally straight out of a manga. I've been looking for a web drama to watch but none of them suited my tastes and finally, I've found it!! I hope they post the rest soon.

Randomly recommended, without second thought clicked cause cute guy, love it, and finished it on Amazon prime...y'all there is a definite feel of fantasy to this kind of boyfriend but realistically he makes a perfect first boyfriend like if ya think about it. He is understanding and respectful and doesn't rush it when it's not wanted, caring and understanding...like gosh dang it can he be my first boyfriend (I had a first but can I have a redo lol). But seriously y'all it's a cute short series
I didn't know I had met Eiji long before he was Adachi. I remember watching this last year and when the thumbnail was in my recommendations again after long hours of Cherry Magic videos I was surprised I hadn't noticed the face that made me watch this drama was the same face of the cute awkward Adachi that I've come to love.
I probably would have remembered if I saw more episodes of this but I don't mind that now Adachi will be first to pop in my mind whenever I see Eiji.
