id say it means it will run at 2000 lumens for a minute , then back off to 700 lumens and last an hour , it would be a safety / preservation feature to stop the LED and internals getting too hot and burning them out . i had a small 1800 lumen torch that i burnt the LED in cause i played with it too long on turbo mode
Hi Mark i needed to replace my old 6 cell maglight and after watching your review i took a chance on it and used your disount code to order the c2 and h5, to my surprise the c2 makes my maglight look like a candle and will be a good backup on my bike to charge my phone! To top it off they sent a free triple A powered headlamp. Thanks Ian
The breathing mode is for if you are having a storm or anticipate a storm in your area, and you know it's coming within an hour or 2, you can activate the illuminating power switch and easily find the light should the power go out.
Most of these lights run the claimed lumens (sometimes ) for about a minute to two minutes before being capable of only about half claimed lumens so probably in this case 700 or less. There are some interesting YT channels out there who rigorously test these in every way possible and very rarely find claimed specifications or when they are achieved last for very short periods at claimed specs.
Thanks Mark, it's fun when you convert your measurements into the American equivalents. It saves me from looking it all up. Our bikes and cars are metric, but our lengths and weights are still in SAE. This is what Google is for. Google was created just for Americans to look up measurements. Thanks for kidding along with me... Texas
Glad to see you have decided to not shill for Olight. Keep up the awesome content! Personally wouldnt buy one but thats because Im a flashlight enthusiasts already🤣 For the average person dont touch olight and save some coin and buy wuban, convoy, sofirn, wurrkos. Thrunite, nitecore and Fenix have budget options too. Don't forgot, color of the light matters alot. Look for Hi CRI lights if you arnt just chasing lumens. Anything 80+cri will be pleasing to the eyes.
Small, powerful and Made in China, which is a firm no from me thanks. Maybe when they stop harming Aussie exporters I’ll consider it, but until then you’d do well to plug products made somewhere other than China.

Yep, most get hot on the higher outputs and generally limit it for the user.

Getting this to my garage ❤
I have a habit of throwing stuff in funny spots and losing it, that breathing light does help, but I'd kind of like a brighter colour.

A great little torch. Will be a nice prize for a crewie.
Hahaha, thank you for the American equivalent measurements. It's nice of you to help out us metric challenged people. Texas
Any time! 😂
Looks like a good little torch 🔦 👌
Looked really bright on the footage Mark.

All these flamin' torch reviews 😅 Good stuff Mark they are definitely a more easy on the wallet option and look the goods 👍
LOL... yeah there's a few going round! 🤣
It's 2000 lumens for 1 min....then 600 lumens for 3 hours. The light heats up so it steps down.
Watched the whole thing. Needed a break from O Light “reviews” 😂
🤣
I wonder if its possible to charge the light with itself?
LOL 🤣 Don't know!
Bloody hell
Hope you got paid also brother to do the review 👍👍👍
No payment, just the product!

I hear what your saying mate, but unfortunately they only manufacturer these things in China! What do we do? 👍
