    That was like the most badass 2 minute clip of running I've ever seen. That guy's a legend. And solid camera work Jamil!

  • @HarryRunsUK
    @HarryRunsUK 8 років тому +79

    This gave me shivers, the intensity and hunger Zach and some of these guys have to push the limits of ultra running is unreal and certainly starting a new chapter in the sport. Things are about to get crazy!

    • @ioanparry
      @ioanparry 6 років тому +5

      Talk about giving EVERYTHING. Amen on the shivers Harry. Really makes you think about your own effort and drive, where it's at, and where it could be given constant effort. Zach Miller - the 'ALL-IN' legend.

    This is the most humanly possible beautiful video on youtube, yet to be seen. This is actually the only one you can't pause nor see without the sound or listen without the image. It's a fucking whole meal for the soul.

    I love to see Jamil's shadow and hair flapping in the wind as you follow Zach. I still think that the Miller vs. Hawk is one of the GREATEST running videos out there!

    Great capture of an athlete giving it EVERYTHING that he has left in him! What a gutsy performance. It was so cool that you could be there to capture that final sprint to the finish. 😀

    Nothing left in Zach's tank there - what an effort!
    And I love the way he just went around the guys in whichever other race they were in, not asking them to get out of his way but just skirting past.

      @HeartPumper 8 років тому +1

      Adam Leadbetter That's quite usual in any race. Tunnel vision bc of tiredness, and no anticipation of what's up behind. Fortunately there was a lot of space to fly around :D

    Initially, I thought Jamil was just killing it when I watched the entire Miller vs. Hawks video by hanging with these two. Then I watched this one. 2:08 to 2:10 Jamil is on the outside of the barricade and seamlessly transitions to the inside. Clearly he is a Warlock or Shapeshifter.

      Good for my first 50, thanks for asking! I saw you in the first mile coming back from chasing the elites. I was slow, but got it done. Think I could have shaved a good chunk of time off, but finishing was my first priority.

    I've never ran 50 miles in my life, but as a very amateur runner, I am intrigued and curious of the physiological make up that makes a runner like Zach breath so hard, but you saw Hayden almost effortlessly running. The runner's mind and body is incredible, major props!
