Definitely keep your burn journals.When you look back in 10 or 20 years time, they will tell you far more about who you were and what your path was than a whole Bible with beautifully lettered quotes. Rereading an old entry and maybe journaling about how you think about it can become a whole new practice.
Honestly, I always say I'm going to burn my cathartic journals and then ... I don't. I haven't had the nerve yet to actually do it for the exact reasons you mentioned!

I only found you recently - I think you’re wonderful! This was so helpful to me. I have always struggled processing my thoughts regarding scripture - I really think your ideas are going to help. Sadly, I don’t think we can get Paper Sunday here in the UK and it will probably be too expensive to ship. It’s such a great idea. More research needed - maybe someone does something similar here. Hi! He has passed away, so I'm going to reach out through the church office to see if I can contact his family. It would be amazing to publish his sermons as a book. For now, since they're still under copyright, I'll just refer to his lessons (with proper credit) in my own essays.
