Thank you very much teacher and friends. ❤
My family now thinks I have mental issues. I'm doing this in my room and my family keeps asking if I'm okay lol
hi guys, the best results that I have had was by using the Bens Singer Blog (just google it) definately the most helpful plan that I've tried.
Simply say u are, there ist zo much more to life than Sarcasm
SimplyxAlexis 😂😂😂
that's the whole point of vocal exercises i guess. same here
Tell em I'm preparing to be the greatest
1. Push the wall and sing Nananana~
2. Inhale your breath to the max. wear a belt to you ribs. say huh huh huh without the belt fall down
3. CLose your mouth. Scream loudly!
4. Inhale to the max, hold you breath but open the "lid"(make sure you still take small breath). HOLD as long as you can.
5. Inhale to the max, sing a note as soft and as long as you can.
-just a small note 4 me. You can use it too.-
Why have you written what has to be done, i.e. in the lesson?
Diane Shepherd because some people don’t like to watch a 9 mintue video just for 5 steps (not being rude)
Thanks I had to write it all down for a test 🤣
Thank you for writing the note! I will use it.😁😁
i found my whistle register with this lmao. XD
idk if i did an exercise wrong.
Ah!!!
I literally got my vibrato by doing excersie #3.... this was an unexpected but welcome surprise!
Youre the most brilliant vocal coach on youtube! :) I understand all the tips on your videos
Your lessons are great, but can you change the background color to dark.? White is really hurt my eyes.Thank you.!
You are an amazing teacher! You make everything make sense and have reason. Thank you!
SO helpful...thank you, Freya!
Really very useful and the explanation is very clear , thanks a lot.
By far the best video and the best UNDERSTANDABLE tips about this subject. Thank you!
be blessed sister! nice tutorial.
Outstanding!
This makes so much sense!!!! wow!
Amazzinngg ....
Ich habe nach solchen Übungen so lange gesucht! Gratuliere Freya! Vielen Dank!

Thank you
This helped me SO much understanding support!! Thank you!!
Thanks a million Freya
you're one of the best coach i've ever seen
I really like your videos! By watching them I begin to sing better and better, bit by bit. You explain stuff in a really good way and you sing really awesome. I think you are not worse than famous singers. I also listen to some of your song covers from time to time and while listening to them, I feel really excited and uplifted. I think that even some famous singers can't express emotions like you do. I wish you even better progress in singing and more happy moments in life.
Wow! Thank you 💜
Helps me a lot in my singing.
That's exactly what I need now! Thank u
I have been a singer for the past 30+ years and find that my voice has changed vastly due to menopause. I have lost my voice control and diaphragm strength and can't control the huge vibrato in my notes, especially when singing ballads. I am hoping with these exercises, it's gonna help me get stronger and more confident with my voice again. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your wonderful expertise! Wish I could take private lessons from you!
You are just wonderful. I find your exercises some of the best on line. I am not a beginner, at all. I have lots of experience, so I feel somewhat qualified to give you this compliment.
Your videos are really helpful thank you so much
AMAZING THANK YOU SO MUCH!! THESE ARE SO SIMPLE YET EFFECTIVE
Freya, This is what I believe in doing as well, but you and people like me are sadly in the minority. Awesome. So many people skip over this part of their training.
+Freya Casey I'm totally with you on this. People don't realize or conceptualize what it means to have an inspiratory hold or to gain control over exhalation.
very helpful, thanks a lot Freya.
Thank you so much, I learned a lot from you.
Thanks 👍
excellent lesson thanks!
Great stuff!
Great lessons! I've never seen nor heard of tow of two of the exercises you demonstrate; - full lung breath-holding-epiglottis-open exercise before. And the exercise before; keeping the ribs expanded while pushing out short intermittent notes - it feels even more exhausting than sit-ups or crunches - hitting muscles that I thought were involuntary muscles. You have just taught me something I didn't know I could do. Whew. Thank you!
Thanks for these! When you said you felt like you were dying it really made me giggle. I know the feeling
I'm in LOVE with all your videos. I've been improving my technique with a SLS method and while I can perfectly belt out high notes by themselves or do full on belting and mix voice, I find myself getting winded really fast during phrases, especially those that require going from mix to head, therefore I have to resort to pure head voice for anything beyond A#4 in long phrases to be able to keep going, losing consistency in tone quality. I suspect it's because of poor support. I will definitely try this. Thank U so very much Freya, you got a new follower and subscriber here. Much love from Venezuela.
OMG Thank you. I noticed immediate difference, especially the exercise with the holding breath without closing the glottis--really helped find the muscles.
To echo everyone else, it's hard finding good and understandable videos on this. Voice teachers always repeat the same "breathe into your stomach" advice and simple exercises that didn't help like these... You gave a comprehensive overview that tackles every angle of support. Thank you!
These are really great exercises. I will practice them every day. Thank you so much!
Marsha S. Hi! has this worked for you?
Hi! has this worked for you?
Hi! has this worked for you?
Great exercises! It really helps my breath control.
You're a God send. I haven't really sung in months, and my abs have become soft and I've lost control of it and my diaphragm. The first exercise here helped me on the first second of the first try, God bless! Thanks!
Thank you!! You're amazing . Those really helped.
Very helpful exercises! Thank you Freya!
Amazing . Thank You Sooo Much .
Great advice!
Wirklich wirksame Übungen, danke, Grüße aus Ludwigshafen
Freya! Thanks for sharing these, you're a wizard!! I'm working on the breath holding and belt thingy for now. I started trying these last night, the breath holding was fairly simple but I found the belt exercise to be impossible and quite discouraging. Tried the belt today and my muscles had already adapted, got through five sets - magic! My core muscles are twitching with joy, quite a workout for not even moving. I've watched tons of videos on breathing but this video is the holy grail so far. Thank you!!!
This are great tips, thank you!

Hi freya, thanks for the generosity...this will help to people wanted to improve their singing skills.
very helpful thanks
Freya, I didn’t have an automatic intuition of how to sing well; I wasn’t born with it- though, I had potential. I’ve taken vocal lessons: nothing. So, for the last two years, I’ve been researching on my own. Studying the anatomy of the throat (Larynx, pharynx, vocal folds, etc…) I’ve been UA-cam-ing vocal warm-ups, exercises, etc… from YOUR channel and this particular video gives singing “hacks” that not only unique but YOUR METHODS WORK!!! Thank you!! I’ve improved tenfold over the last two years!! ❤
Is really helpful thank you
Great video

Well, I haven´t tried all these exercises yet, but these exercises seem really helpful still. To be honest, most exercises I´ve found on youtube and online are completely garbage for me, but these seem to help. I´ve struggled for a long time getting my support up to the point where I can sing whole songs without losing it, and I think these exercises might be exactly what I need, especially if I combine them with the exercises I get from my teacher.
💖💖💖
Thank you for this video!
I will continue to try the exercises! I cannot do the belt one properly... My rib cage moves, and I cannot seem to make them stay still...! Also I do not feel tired in my ab muscles at all..... I hope that if I just continue with the exercises, my body will eventually figure out how to correctly work the abs, and hold the ribs in its expanded position...?!
But I wonder what I can think about or try doing to better understand how to fulfill these breath support assignments!
this is an awesome video Freya
"Ask the heavens please
Turn those fierce storms to a breeze
There'll be rainbows in the skies
So wipe the tears from your eyes
For the dawning of the day
Let the music play
Let the singing start and
Always keep a song in your heart" K.R.
