Really enjoy your “here we go” fishing videos…I like that you inform your followers where you dock your kayak and the lures you used…hopefully I’ll have my 1st kayak next year…keep fishing and tight lines.
Yeah man those go pros , sometimes I don’t even bother taking it sometimes just so I don’t have to mess with it . I’ve even thought about painting it white , that black just sucks in the heat . They should make one in white . But anyways tight lines and great catches 👍
Man that’s all I use! I found it heated up faster with the GoPro battery inside so I just run it without. Just external battery. Only problem u got cords running everywhere 😆
@tnafishing7 yeah I've been thinking about the cord. This will be my first time to use it but I've learned simplifying is better so I may not like the cord. Good point
I hear ya!! I try to clean them after every trip to make them last but that salt is no joke. I’ve collected them through the years and usually look for sales and deals before I buy.
Yo insulate your gopro with corrugated cardboard or some pink foam wrap from homedepot. The cardboard is fine until it gets wet. Trust me you’ll be super happy with just cardboard

Rogelio, appreciate you brotha! I’ve been kayaking for about 10 years so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Aqua Dream spoons in gold, silver/red, and yes, solid chartreuse work well in that area.
Man I’ve heard those are killer! Haven’t tried them yet
I love the fight of the Red’s.
By far the funnest fish to catch!
Good fishing man.. I like the north side of the causeway also with spoons. Early morning till it gets hot
Appreciate you watching! Spoons are my new fav! I was dying out there till 2pm with no wind 🥵

I’ve even thought about changing to DJI action cam but I’m hoping the 12 is better! 🤞
Great video! I bought an external small cheap battery last week for my gopro, I'll let you know how it works

I HATE the cord but found it better than swapping batteries and overheating 😆
heck ya. when are we going to see another video from you??
lmfaoo. you have patience!
Only with fishing 😂
That's some impressive gear. I can't yet commit to spending so much $$$ since my gear takes a beating when I'm on my kayak or at the jetties.

What size braid you using on that ballistic? Nice catches by the way
Johnny, using 10# braid on the 2500 ballistic. Almost all my spinning reels have 10# braid. Never broke off in a fish yet! 10# casts a mile too
Nice action! Great video! Keep up the good content.
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching
Good going bud. Always entertaining
Glad you enjoyed!
Man bro! I feel ur pain on that GoPro issue, same thing happened to me last week. I missed out on some good footage as well 😭 Great vid by the way👍
You don’t know how many times Ive waned to throw it in the water!! 😂 Wish I had something more reliable in the Texas heat!
@@tnafishing7 tell me about it😂 i hope the GoPro 12 can withstand the heat.
Put a little trailer hook on it.
Good idea! Next time I’ll try that!! 🤙
Sir what spinning rod are you using?. I like a 7'6 for plastics.
One is a laguna liquid series and another is a Waterloo salinity. Both 7’ medium action. I always wanted to try longer rod
@@tnafishing7 You get a lot more reach and action.
good video!
Appreciate you Rick!
Do you mainly drift fish the flats ?
I do and also usually fish around the spoil islands

Man you know I got cardboard laying around after Christmas 😂😂 Just might have to try it!
Was this the north side of the JFK Causeway?
This was the south side. Parked a little before the causeway turnaround
Cool pickings.. same area we were at?
Same area
What kind of kayak do you have?
What’s up Ray! It is a Hobie Outback. Lmk if you have any questions about the kayak
Where did you buy it?
@@raymares3866Bought mine at Fin Factory in Corpus Christi! They have a whole mess of hobbies as well as other brands. Where u located at?
