What kind of rod and reel setup was on the pompano rig ? I’m looking for a good surf/ jetti fishing rod any Recommendations?
Whats up Justin! Both rods were 10' and 9' Penn battalion II Surf rods. 10' w/ Penn Slammer 5500 and 9' w/ 6000 Shimano Saragossa. Both are great rods and reels. Im looking for new setup for beach...12' rod to cast further from shore but both setups are good for Jetty/Beach.

Tides are high and water clarity is down at the beach due to the storm in the Gulf. Things should improve gradually by the weekend so you should good for Friday!
