Nice, some good nuggets in here. Sounds like the 0-60 for the FWD version is now claimed to be 4.5 sec. That's way faster than I was expecting. Last I heard, they had been saying less than 6 sec. Also we hear Chris state that they were able to get 29 miles of solar output on a real world clear Vegas winter day. That's also better than I was expecting! Good stuff!
@@josiahpaez4601 yeah that was super cool to hear! Especially after driving 20 mi and still gaining 29 after that! The team has been so excited to start to see the real life results of years of engineering!
@@davidtheinspectorOh yeah, exciting stuff! BTW, just wanted to clarify, they only gained 5 miles more than they started with by the end of the day. Drove/lost 24 mi, gained 29 mi, 5 mi net total End Of Day.
@@davidtheinspector No worries at all, just want to make sure people don't expect something the vehicle can't do. Even so, on a winter day, this is very impressive. What other vehicle can you go run 25 miles of errands in and come back home with more range/fuel than you started with? Super cool!
@@DemaGeek yeah it's really exciting to and to hear of LG producing the cells, their Booth here is amazing! Amazing! And of course CTNS are world-class professionals!
@@TimWigan absolutely, Aptera is something we need to get on the roads! And it's great to have help from all sides. CTNS is proving to be awesome Partners! Meeting them in person, they are all down to earth and hard-working guys. Passionate about Aptera's ethos!
@TimWigan I had a few conversations off camera with them and it seems like they've already invested quite a bit themselves. Kind of a CPC type of situation. They are also lobbying to get government funding from the Korea side, so it seems like they're doing what they can within their power monetarily wise as well
@@williamclark6466 Thanks for tuning in! So many things were just happening spur of the moment, I'm glad to be able to run over there with my camera to share this
Eww, vertical video is one sin. But you decided to commit the cardinal sin of forcing black bars around the vertical video in landscape, so now it looks terrible in every orientation 🙄
This is a great partnership for Aptera, thank you David for posting!
@@kevinscott8642 thanks Kevin for checking it out!

Interesting. This is great news for folks like me who have an Aptera reserved. Thanks David.

I love the Korean people. I wish I spoke Korean.
@@nuugle42 Yeah the whole team was really amazing! And the culture as a whole is so rich!
@@nuugle42 One thing I thought was funny is CTNS kept on saying that Junmo was like the BTS of CTNS. 🤣
😂 i love Aptera, but the car market the average people are buying is mostly used nowhere near 40, new cars are a small market but ok.

I'm sorry you didn't stay past the first couple of minutes. It goes landscape after haha😂 but I agree
