I really enjoyed your review. I’ve owned a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack for over a year as my EDC and I’m always looking forward new ideas and ways to organize my bag. I will say that I’m a type 2 diabetic and I really enjoy the ability to carry my Meds, Glucose Meter, some snacks (stuff to pick up my glucose) and a water bottle. I like the idea of having a small pouch for your diabetes gear and a separate IFAK pouch. Thanks for putting on this video as was very helpful.

I was disappointed to see that Vanquest discontinued the Tolcat but this video convinced me that I might be able to EDC a Mobius. I’m a still a little worried that it’s too big but I think I’m gonna do it. Thank!

I received the Mobius in wolf grey the other day. And i must say, that I am extremely happy with my purchase. Both look and quality is top notch, which is of no surprise to me when it comes to Vanquest gear.

Great video Tim looks like a great bag. I've come to like the sling bag. It's good to be able to swing it around so you can access it.
Because of your review I went ahead and pulled the trigger and ordered this bag in wolf gray. I've been a user of Maxpedition products and own many bags from them. After watching your reviews on the trident 20 gen 2 and other vanquest products I may just have to sell my Maxpedition gear to fund the vanquest gear. Can't wait to get the bag and check it out. Great in depth review. Thanks Tim, I currently use the RapDom bags but this one has me thinking for sure.
RapDom isn't a bad brand but I have little experience with them, Vanquest is in a quality category all on it's own.
No doubt about that. I went with Rapdom because it was more in my budget at the time. Definitely going to look into this one more because I agree with you, it seems pretty perfect.
There is one thing I think they could do to improve this bag and that is to add a small zippers pocket inside of the top pocket I think that would be very useful.

I watch this video a lot it's a great review and I just ordered one in the coyote tan today I this I know of a couple of changes you would like without changing anything else one is if they added a small mesh pocket under the lid of the top pocket. The other is a small tab to hold onto to aid in zipping the front pocket and another suggestion is instead of just plain parasite pulls they and Spartan zipper pulls I think these would be great additions to an amazing product.
First nice job on the review with that said I like the option of wearing it on either side and the option of wearing it on the thigh it has a lot going for it.. Hope all is well on your end good to see you're still making videos

Forgot to say i just bought the little brother to the mobius 2.0 its the tolcat 2.0.slightly smaller and i love it...maxibit.. better step up their reasearch
They'll never be as good as Vanquest, too many internal problems. How do you think Vanquest got started? They came from Maxped with bigger and better ideas.
I want a new one. My old model is great but now I want the new one. The problem is that they are made Too Well! I can't really get a new one until the old is about to go. It is so durable that I don't see that happening for a decade or so.
It might not be around when my version 1 finally dies.
I thought is funny when you said that when you first got the old one, you didn't think much about the orange high viz. Then you found the High Viz was great. Me Too! I thought it was a gimmick but it turned out to be great.
The high viz color really does help, didn't think it would make a whole lot of difference, I was wrong. This bag is just amazing, I really am pleased with everything about it.

I just recently received mine and found it well stitched and quality materials. However some disappointment when you put in the two water bottle holders with a nalgene or coffee mug like a starbucks one, it makes the side pouches useless by pushing against them and requires you to put small pouches on the outside molle to get any room. By placing the bottles in the holder it pushes against the inside organizer pockets and all you can use it the long main pocket and it decreases the capacity. The water bottle pocket needs to stretch more or be upright because the angle of it cuts into the main compartment.
The top compartment with soft materials won't fit a I phone 6s with an otter box so that won't work if you have a case on your phone. They need to have the outside pockets inside pockets stretch more. Bag looks good visually.
The Hi Viz is limited and kind of gimmicky. It needs to be all along the bag inside otherwise its a waste and you feel like what its importance is. Needs to be like Spec Ops brand all yellow hi viz throughout the inside for the price. .
Also the inside main compartment top cover won't fully cinch closed and allows any water to come in. The front IFAK compartment is not that big once you load it down. If your looking for a small commuter bag you'd be better off getting a messenger bag. The main inside compartment gets volume compromised when you load up the other pockets. Not worth the price they charge. Maybe for 45.00 but almost 100.00 is a rip off especially for not being made in the USA. I bought a 15.99 cheap bag that holds more and though its not Cordura or YKK zippers it holds more and is more functional. The Mobius 2.0 looks fantastic unloaded but fails once you load it up. The collapsable bottle holders need to not cut into the main compartment when filled and the whole bag Needs to be 25% larger to hold a daily load. For whats out there the Propper OTS XL is a better choice.

Nice review.
One minor point, the auto focus on your camera was going CRAZY through the entire thing. I got seasick trying to watch it and a bit of a headake as the thing kept changing point of focus every second or two. I'm not sure if it was the movement or the pattern on the cloth under it or what but it kept trying to focus, every second or two for the full thing and it was very very distracting and yeah. Gave me a motion sickness headake trying to watch.

AWESOME video must say . but would have to go with the old one since its smaller so I would not be tempted to over load it. in a emergency less stuff be lighter to carry to get home... great video though...... most times I use the monsoon by maxpedition only because there is no way to over stuff it I tried many times LOL....

Jill Long The bag itself is a little over 2 pounds empty, I'd say around 10 pounds when I have it loaded with what I currently edc.
You do excellent reviews. I'd like to see you do a review of the Tolcat which is the one I'm leaning toward. I have a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack but I feel it's a little big.. Maybe Vanquest would send you a Tolcat to review. Also in case I didn't hear you mention it, how does the size of the Mobius 2.0 size compare to your Maxped Jumbo Versipack?
They are almost the same size but the Mobius has better quality materials and better organization throughout the pack. I do plan on getting a Tolcat because my wife uses a Maxpedition Versipack as her pocketbook and she wants to replace it with a Tolcat. As soon as it arrives I'll review it.
I have a Tolcat 2.0 and find it to be a great bag, also the side pockets of the Tolcat will hold a 3.25 inch diam bottle securely ...great bag, very light and convient to carry
Let me add , if there is the slightest question as to the tolcat being a little small opt for the mobius it t will serve u well and is no harder to carry....

Yes it will. Won't be a whole lot of room left for much else though. A little room left but not much.

Fred Dobbs I do use the Mobius as my edc bag along with the RUSH12, those two are my primary edc bags/packs. I prefer the Mobius but when I have both of my boys with me during the day I usually have to carry a little more than I would if I was alone. I review as you know a lot of packs so when I have a smallish pack that I feel would be good for edc then that's what I'll use before the review is made. I'm currently "testing" two packs that make great edc packs, not too big and not too small. But when there are no edc type bags or packs I'm testing then it's back to the RUSH12 and the Mobius. I have a pack from BDS Tactical and another from Nitecore that I'll have done soon.

Tim I really do want to watch your videos...so I will say this as kindly as possible. Please stop repeating the points 8-9 times each. for instance ykk zippers throughout or the bright orange inside. We all have limited time and I find myself jumping ahead in your videos to see the next point and try to skip the redundancy and save time. Your videos are good but could be half the length with the same content. Anyhow, just my opinion and I'm really not trying to be rude. Regards

Put on another 15 pounds in the last few months but in all I lost 70 pounds. Going to start working at it again this weekend. We'll see what happens. lol
Great bag! However, if I have to see another video from this guy, slapping his hands on the equipment, I will make it my point not to buy whatever he is hawking. I could only stomach half of the video. I would have love it to have seen how he could have lifted this "large" bag with all of the equipment he was professing to carry. You see these guys that wanna-be whatever, and you solidly know that in combat, he has NEVER carried a bag, heavy or not, or staying behind and endangering the rest of his squad/platoon. And by the way, firearms are NOT guns, they are weapons! Again, an obvious note that the Company would rather send a free bag to this "diabetes" guy [he said this saddening fact three (3) times], as a rathe cheap way to present this VANQUES Mobius 2.0 professionally. By the way, did you all catch that he uses the NOTE 5, about twice?
