I have to tell you, I have used more of your tableau videos than any other UA-camr out there. So helpful. I also used the summary tile video quite a bit. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!
The first idea that comes to mind is a dual axis chart where your "reference lines" are gantt bars. Would that work? Here's a video on Dual Axis charts that may help: ua-cam.com/video/ZOsHwIUzDMU/v-deo.html
Great video. Quick question. I have a weekly sales line chart and a vertical reference line of campaign start date. I wanted the reference line changes every time I choose a different campaign name. The campaign date would change once the filter changes, but the reference doesn’t. I added the campaign start date to tooltip but it’s not shown when I edit the reference line. I’m wondering if you know how to solve this problem. Thank you !

Thank you so much Andy! That is high praise, there are some great creators on here. I'm glad you find them so helpful and practical!
Whats the formula you used for the calculated field of 2021 and 2022?
Hi! I imagine something like
IF YEAR([Order Date]) = 2022 THEN [Sales] END
Really helps a lot. Thank youu!
You are welcome Jerald!

Nvm. It turns out I have to make the date a continuous variable. Now it shows when editing the reference line!
@@claireli5044 We're glad to hear it's working. Good luck!
Thank you
You got it Dan!
