the Valkyrien Skies mod is great I love but for classic ships and boat that go on water I think it's still not the best one, it's the best one for recent versions, but the absolute best one in my opinion is the Ships mod for 1.7.10, unfortunately it's only available on that version and no other, but it's great: first of all you don't need all floaters, the ships just stays on the water, also the rooms of the boat if they happen to be underwater they don't fill up with water, an issue I noticed on the Valkyrien Skies / Eureka mod, in the Ships mod it's still empty and you can walk easily in there. Again, the only bummer is that it's only for 1.7.10

Nah. Valkyrien skies is the DEFINITIVE mod for ships, the 1.7 ship mod is severely outdated.
