- Valkyrien Skies is a mod that allows you to create your very own boats and airships in Minecraft and then sail them around your world.
This mod is a spiritual descendent of the old Archimedes ships mod. The only difference is that it is a much improved version.
Take your Minecraft builds sailing or flying with realistic physics. Choose from a variety of add-ons that let you control your ship the way YOU want to, from the simple Eureka helm to complex Clockwork contraptions using the create mod.

I had a world back in the day that I made star destroyers in, and I used that ships mod to actually make them fly which was sick back then! I remember the ships I made were too big, so I went into the mod and (somehow) increased the block limit. No idea how I did that.
config folder in .minecraft, or config screen in-game if you have a config screen mod
Ok, my question is: HOW DID YOU MADE THEM FLY? I SPEND HOURS TRYING TO MAKE A MID STANDARD SIZED SHIP FLY

This is a super cool mod that is pretty chill, aint the worst at all but it aint the best. thats until you realise you can build as big as a ship you want as long as you add a BUNCH of floaters

Important note: I’m pretty sure your hand must be empty to open the helm, I found this out after spending half an hour with a full hot bar trying to make it work

How do you get shaders to work as sodium is buggy with eureka?

I'd like to ask what shader mods and support mods you are using in this video. I've found I can't run Eureka if I have Oculus and Rubidium running, but if I remove Rubidium then the Oculus shaders work with Eureka but there is a persistent banner on the top of the screen telling me I need to use Rubidium. What shader mods are you using for this video?
Maybe Embeddium works?

Could you tell me please the exact versions of eureka/valkyrien skyes/kotlin mods that you used? I'm having some troubles with movements that i didn't had in 1.18

I can't get those blocks in creative on fabric 1.18.2 . Can you explain why?
Change the stabilisation amount and time of the helm in configs and ships will work a lot more naturally and realistic, rocking from side to side as you turn
i think the speed doesnt go up when you add more furnaces
this is a must have vehicle mod.

Using this with a grapple hook mod literally makes this like world adrift!!!!
How did you get shaders working with the mod, for me it doesnt work
it looks like optifine doesnt work for it so you might have to see if you can use iris I think.

Hey, i've seen the video and i really want to add it to a modpack but i've been having problems with performance mods such as Embedium Rubidium and Optifine (this is for the version 1.20.1). Do you have any alternative performance mods? Maybe the one you used in the video, if you used one.

if u use optifine its because of that. Use Rubidium for forge or Sodium for fabric. But i think Rubidium is not working at the moment

Please help someone, i istalled the mod in a modpack [my own one] and it only gave me 3 items [Ship creator, Ship assembler, Mini ship creator.] I do not know what to do i tried on 1.12.2, 1.20 and 1.18.8 And i even tried going trough the curseforge page to install it but nothing worked.
you got valkyrien skies you need "eureka for valkyrien skies" which is another mod that goes with valkyrien skies

Oh man, this is exactly the thing two of my brother's have been saying is the reason they don't play Minecraft anymore. They wanted ships! I Want ships! I will make airships!!! The curseforge says there are some dependencies and I'm not quite clear what I need to get this running? Anyone willing to offer some quick advice?
If you use the curseforge launcher it will install the dependencies for you :)
It requires the "Eureka" add on mod as a dependency. It may have issues with optifine and shaders too
@@EccentricEmerald Eureka! Thank you so much. The launcher doesn't work on Linux, so I've been finding the mods individually rather than using modpacks.

anybody knows when we'll be getting a version for 1.20.2? i am NOT remaking my entire modpack for this
I wouldn't count on it. A lot of modders are skipping porting to 1.20.2 because 1.21 is coming

how to add shaderpacks without optifine, everytime i assamble the ship it diseppear and i already test it, it because the optifine
I recommend using fabric and iris shaders. No optifine is required and it also supports this mod
@@EccentricEmerald still not work, i dont know where i'm wrong, can you make video tutorial how to use shader and eureka mod, if i place eureka and rubinium mod in mods folder then open the game, the game will crash

I'm having an issue with making the ship an actual ship using the helm. Whenever I click assemble, all the blocks turn invisible. The ship is still there, but I can't actually see it. How can I fix this? This originally happened on a fairly large ship (not too large, but definitely not small). I tried with a smaller ship and it still turned invisible. I am using all the required mods + optifine

that's a shader issue, instead of using optifine use oculus and rubidium.
