General idea to make the sludge more dangerous, after they merge into a creature make them faster, giving the player less time to think and increasing the chances that they step into the sunlight while trying to escape.
There should be a special potion to protect from melting and armor enchantment. Enchantment: UV Guard - Complete immunity from Daybreak, Not stackable with any of the resistances enchantments Potion: Ridescent - heavily reduces damage over time for 30 seconds
You should add that plants also mutant! Organic plants will melt into a green sludge, and become monsters as well, not sentient until they merge with flesh however!
i would change how the blobs work to be more free-flowing masses than massive hulks that break things instead of climbing or squeezing into/onto/around
I feel like this mod doesn't truly capture the horrifying essence of 001. 001 not only converts animals, but all living matter, including plants and fungi. Not to mention the sludges are sentient, and capable of mimicking voices to lure its victims. The scariest thing about 001 is not the possibility of death. Rather, the fear comes from knowing that you can't die, only live to suffer on as a mass of living matter, your own free will stripped from you. That is to say, this isn't a bad mod, I just don't believe it truly captures 001's horror. (Of course, doing so properly would not be easy given the format).
there's a few things that this mod got wrong, some understandable, some less so. Firstly, moonlight is bad. It's just reflected sunlight. I think this could reasonably be implememted Secondly, once you start melting it's already over, you cannot undo the process. Or you don't want to, as the anomaly is a cognito hazard and makes you want to become sludge. Obviously this is unfun, so I can see why they didn't do it. Thirdly, *being* in sunlight doesn't matter. If you are able to see light, that means the light has hit your retinas. Meaning you're melting now. This is a bit hard to track and also a bit unfun since it just means you become a moleman until the event is over. Lastly, the sludge is intelligent, and wants to "fix" people, and will actively attempt to drag people into the light, or trick people into the light. I think the sludge being able to split off mob mimics and being able to grab and drag you could be fun. But you'd need to implement a struggle mechanic.
It could just be them playing the part of "unsuspecting human" as the SCP foundation is secretive in nature and that the regular people who lives in the same universe as it have no idea of its existence. Or it could just be them actually having no clue either way it's great immersion ong.
This mod isn't 100% accurate to the actual, SCP as in most if not all cases, clothes (in MCs case armor) protects from sunlight due to their being a specific number of sunlight that needs to make contact with you, as well as they don't just turn to sludge, they can take humanoid form or and spread onto surfaces. Now, depending on what you take as cannon or not, here are some extra things, 1. In some cannons, Moonlight can infect as well, as moon light is just sunlight. 2. Anything LIVING can be affected, this included plant life.
@@goldenrose223 Clothes could protect from When Day Breaks but they had to completely cover the person's body. Minecraft's armor has huge gaps so it makes sense that it doesn't really do anything for you.
You should make it so the sludge continues to get way bigger like I think if u could make like 3 more stages and the final one was like the size of a mountain that would be perfect and I’d love to make a vid on something like that
XCLU = Exclusive mob: Only found in special areas & doesn't spawn naturally(Elder Guardian, Shulker)/spawned by specific methods (Wither, Warden). Space = The size of the hitbox of a mob, whether it can fit through a 1 block gap or requires a large area to contain. KBR = Knock Back Resistance; how far a mob will be knocked back after attacking it. Also I didn't realize I make a typo to the rarity. It should say XCLU instead, my bad. All future videos will have the correct spelling for the rarity.
Mod has some flaw: 1. Encouraging to move during Night Time. This should be the obvious solution if you cannot move during the day. The problem is the mod does not provide a way to skip the day. This can be solved by adding a new bed that allows you to skip the day. Other than that, you play normally just in the dark night. Mods need to provide content during night time or give more danger during the day to encourage player only move during the night. 2. Not worth to challenge. Although subject to change, it is not worth it to challenge this mod yet. There is no reward for winning against the abomination. Maybe have it so the monster drop crafting material or something only during the day so that player have some incentive to challenge it despite being under debuff and fightting strong monster. This not only enforces the threat of the Dawn but also give it a High-risk-high-reward that can gives it worth.
Agreed, but i should also add that it needs customizable difficulty and mob variety - the mod is already extremely lenient compared to the original 001.
how tf does melting affect golems, blazes, breezes, fire resistance and creakings? they're not even made of flesh, so they can't become sludge. golems should turn into melted metal, blazes and breezes should be immune, fire resistance should protect you from the anomaly and creakings should scorch into flames.
i was about to leave a comment suggesting being dragged outside like they do in the stories and documents as well as the night time being just as dangerous since the moon reflects the suns light but after opening the comments ive seen a few people have put that, i would also say get the leaves and grass to disappear as well, i understand the event isnt permanent but "when day breaks" affects all biological organisms, not just animals and creatures, i remember there being a story about someone going through a forest and walking through the melted leaves and grass was like walking through a marsh, i can understand adding something like that might be hard but its an added touch XD
i think that there should be more variations of flesh slobs, like 5 of those player-sized slobs should be able to form the big slob that 2 would normaly form, and 2 flesh slobs would become a medium flesh slob and so on
The scp event only affects organic things, not none-organic as they are safe from it in general. Sooo we could rule out golems, not sure if it could affect skeletons??? Also wearing clothing to protect all of yours skin from the sunlight would work but you’d need to make sure to have all of your skin covered from the light. Also for the sludges, some videos say they can merge with other normal people or animals, and some others say they try to lure you out with you’re family’s voices or friends, once they get you, you don’t merge, but they drag you outside so you’re under the sun. If it’s dark they will hold you and wait for the sun so you can merge with them, that’s one take on the scp. But yeah if the mod can add full layered clothing it won’t be so much issue as long as you kept it on, it be like walking through the woods again, just with big monsters wandering around.
This is cool and all but if you want to be true to the SCP's lore then ANY exposure will turn you into a sludge monster, PERIOD. It only gets worse the more sun exposure you have but even something as small as a single beam of sun filtering through a needle-sized hole can spread and turn you so you're not to be exposed directly in ANY medium and it's advised to wear MULTIPLE layers of clothes to explore during the day if needed, even night can be dangerous and if you make the mistake of going out during an eclipse without knowing which one's which then you have a 50% chance of just instantly dying. Well not 'dying' because nothing dies when exposed to SCP-001, you just melt and become an angry agonizing blob of liquid flesh. This effect is NOT reversible and affects everything it comes into contact with that's not a plant. Also creatures that CAN fly, lose the ability to. Meaning all birds, bees, etc that can fly will be unable to for the duration of SCP-001's effect. There's absolutely no way to stop this melting from happening and once you're exposed you become a danger to those around you as even being completely shaded or engulfed in darkness post-exposure won't stop the melting from spreading. ANY point of contact is lethal and any amount of contact is lethal, it just depends on how quickly you want to liquefy.
some criticisms - why would inorganic mobs like iron and copper golems be effected? - night should be just as deadly because moonlight is just reflected sunlight
fun fact for the creator of this video: it is an SCP.. Google it up.. Please. beffor annyone replys to this: I am talking about the description of the video
I understand what you are talking about. Didn't realize the description would confuse some people. I changed the description so it didn't imply When Day Breaks isn't an SCP.
i wonder if the scp 682 mod can survive this. if its lore accurate, the mob should be unaffected. tho there are a few iterations on how he counters the sun. one is he goes underground during day, and surface during night. sun rays reflecting off the moon arnt enough to melt him. another iteration is that as the sun messes with his mind. he just says "fuck that", and yeah, consumed rocks to grow a umbrella on his back
I really don't like the reworks here, while it's in the creatives power to rewrite SCP Cannon as they wish to, I felt the original standing of the sun messing you up for just a single mistake was the entire purpose of its horror. In the original, sunlight touching you even for a second condemned you. the flesh that hates shouldn't be more lethal than the sun that breaks
most of my ideas have been adress by othe commenters so i won't repeat them here but: 1. you should be able to choose if it's chance of happening and ending meaning you could let it play out as it does here or you can make it have a 100% chance to happen instantly and a 0% chance to ever stop 2. i think there should be a fake announcment that can happen with slightly off wording like instead of "normal activies may resume, but remain cautious" it's "the scp foundation orders that you step into the sun, it is beautiful" like how the monsters are shown to do in the article
They should make it so you can resist the melting with fire resistance or fire resistant clothes, i mean Steve does have some of the charachteristics of a SCP so it nakes sense for him to have a way to avoid it
No anomalies that are less powerful than the sun were able to resist its effects. The only ones capable of it were god and his angels (I am not making this up, Uriel fights and gets killed by a converted sludge SCP that used to be a nature god; and permanently removes the entrance to Eden from earth as he makes his last stand.) There is also the story where the destroyer on Jupiter gets repaired and sacrifices itself correcting the sun (which according to it was the error it was built to correct.)
@@GreyKnightsVenerable That's interesting, i didn't know there was this kind of lore to SCP! But wouldn't this event just end all life on earth when it happens?

Another video from the goat!! Idk if you are able or if you want, but, Im developing a minecraft Infection mod called "Another Dimension Invasion", and I would like to know what do you think about it, for improvement, you can test it out camera if you want, hope you like it and keep like that man!
General idea to make the sludge more dangerous, after they merge into a creature make them faster, giving the player less time to think and increasing the chances that they step into the sunlight while trying to escape.
There should be a special potion to protect from melting and armor enchantment.
Enchantment: UV Guard - Complete immunity from Daybreak, Not stackable with any of the resistances enchantments
Potion: Ridescent - heavily reduces damage over time for 30 seconds
I wish they could change like when you’re surrounded by certain natural light level, like under the sun only
You should add that plants also mutant!
(Of course, doing so properly would not be easy given the format).
would be a great mod for genuinely hardcore survival modpacks.
i dont like how the two person sized biomass creatures combine into a creature the size of a house
there's a few things that this mod got wrong, some understandable, some less so. Firstly, moonlight is bad. It's just reflected sunlight. I think this could reasonably be implememted
Secondly, once you start melting it's already over, you cannot undo the process.
Make a cloak with less armor, it’s in the helmet slot and protects you via its own Durability
Scp 001 only melt organic things which make golem invulnerable to the sun
Your videos are so well done. You have earned a subscriber
that robot skin is adorable
Dude covers a SCP mod and doesn't know what the SCP Foundation is
It could just be them playing the part of "unsuspecting human" as the SCP foundation is secretive in nature and that the regular people who lives in the same universe as it have no idea of its existence. Or it could just be them actually having no clue either way it's great immersion ong.
@DeusMachinaExecuted more like a "unsuspecting robot"
if only my ears didnt implode from the giant beeping between each text transition
Honestly I didn't know about this SCP. Cool. Since you are doing SCPs, could you perhaps make an analysis for SCP-023?
Don't believe they have an up to date 023 mod
This mod isn't 100% accurate to the actual, SCP as in most if not all cases, clothes (in MCs case armor) protects from sunlight due to their being a specific number of sunlight that needs to make contact with you, as well as they don't just turn to sludge, they can take humanoid form or and spread onto surfaces.
Now, depending on what you take as cannon or not, here are some extra things,
You should drop a mod list of all the other mods you used here, that roll and glider look cool
You should make it so the sludge continues to get way bigger like I think if u could make like 3 more stages and the final one was like the size of a mountain that would be perfect and I’d love to make a vid on something like that
someone needs to explain what ANY of the things in the mob section mean😭
wth is a XLCU
am i just stupid??
XCLU = Exclusive mob: Only found in special areas & doesn't spawn naturally(Elder Guardian, Shulker)/spawned by specific methods (Wither, Warden).
Space = The size of the hitbox of a mob, whether it can fit through a 1 block gap or requires a large area to contain.
KBR = Knock Back Resistance; how far a mob will be knocked back after attacking it.
Also I didn't realize I make a typo to the rarity. It should say XCLU instead, my bad. All future videos will have the correct spelling for the rarity.
Golems melting is weird
come with me, look at the sun, to see how glorious it is, is beautiful
IMMERSIVE AIRCRAFT I can’t play any mod without it
Mod has some flaw:
Agreed, but i should also add that it needs customizable difficulty and mob variety - the mod is already extremely lenient compared to the original 001.
how tf does melting affect golems, blazes, breezes, fire resistance and creakings? they're not even made of flesh, so they can't become sludge. golems should turn into melted metal, blazes and breezes should be immune, fire resistance should protect you from the anomaly and creakings should scorch into flames.
i was about to leave a comment suggesting being dragged outside like they do in the stories and documents as well as the night time being just as dangerous since the moon reflects the suns light but after opening the comments ive seen a few people have put that, i would also say get the leaves and grass to disappear as well, i understand the event isnt permanent but "when day breaks" affects all biological organisms, not just animals and creatures, i remember there being a story about someone going through a forest and walking through the melted leaves and grass was like walking through a marsh, i can understand adding something like that might be hard but its an added touch XD
i think that there should be more variations of flesh slobs, like 5 of those player-sized slobs should be able to form the big slob that 2 would normaly form, and 2 flesh slobs would become a medium flesh slob and so on
When day breaks shouldn’t affect the golems as they are not made of flesh in the first place, though. They should, by all means, be immune to it.
Hey man cool mod! But i think it would be better to make the sludge monsters bloody red
"Nothing can survive the Daybreak event"
Dont tell him about mobs from mod "The strongest"
I feel as though golems should be unaffected for obvious reasons.
Since bones are organic, yes skeletons will be affected by the sun. So instead of just burning they will just melt.
Personally dont think golems should melt given thwt they arent biological but
Cool mod
Here comes the sun
Doo do doo doo
I think that they should add a form between the 2nd a 3rd monster, and maybe an even bigger monster as a boss
What other mods where you using during the video, i saw some sick flips and a paraglider
Ah, the bad sun event
(If you know you know)
Scp-001 is perfect for introverts
Imma adapt to the challange
with every infection as a side challange as well (another to add to my “OOPS-ALL-INFECTIONS” mod pack)
some criticisms
- why would inorganic mobs like iron and copper golems be effected?
- night should be just as deadly because moonlight is just reflected sunlight
when day breaks on easy mode
fun fact for the creator of this video: it is an SCP.. Google it up.. Please.
beffor annyone replys to this: I am talking about the description of the video
I understand what you are talking about. Didn't realize the description would confuse some people. I changed the description so it didn't imply When Day Breaks isn't an SCP.
i wonder if the scp 682 mod can survive this.
if its lore accurate, the mob should be unaffected.
tho there are a few iterations on how he counters the sun.
one is he goes underground during day, and surface during night. sun rays reflecting off the moon arnt enough to melt him.
another iteration is that as the sun messes with his mind. he just says "fuck that", and yeah, consumed rocks to grow a umbrella on his back
0:51 theres no way they used cassie's voice
And clothing DOES stop the effect and it only happens when it touches exposed skin
Vampires:I do this shit daily
I really don't like the reworks here, while it's in the creatives power to rewrite SCP Cannon as they wish to, I felt the original standing of the sun messing you up for just a single mistake was the entire purpose of its horror.
In the original, sunlight touching you even for a second condemned you. the flesh that hates shouldn't be more lethal than the sun that breaks
Having played with Vampirism from Witchcraft the Sun killing you in an instant can get very annoying very quickly....
@ I would love the idea to be stuck in the same cave for weeks on end trying to make a proper weapon but I 100% get it if im the only idiot who would-
Would you be interested in a horror Minecraft server with the death angles from the quiet place mod?
Me when the day breaks
I feel like golems should be excluded because they aren't flesh
Hey Aura, could you do a video on The Erebus mod? I feel it would compliment your work, and it has giant bugs!
most of my ideas have been adress by othe commenters so i won't repeat them here but:
1. you should be able to choose if it's chance of happening and ending meaning you could let it play out as it does here or you can make it have a 100% chance to happen instantly and a 0% chance to ever stop
2. i think there should be a fake announcment that can happen with slightly off wording like instead of "normal activies may resume, but remain cautious" it's "the scp foundation orders that you step into the sun, it is beautiful" like how the monsters are shown to do in the article
@@magoleo-pr7if In the when day breaks story that Grey was talking about, the destroyer says that its not to late for life on earth. That is of course, if it succeeds
@@magoleo-pr7ifYes, it managed to kill everyone in its universe
My nightmares has come true☹️🔫
you did a video on When Day Breaks without knowing what SCP is?
Dangerous sun 😂😂
I've been reading your comments for some time, and all I want to say is: Thank you! I hope you will be here for future videos, even if it's just to post a funny comment. 😁
A new minecraft mod channel? Don't mind if I do. you should check out the mod I HATE FLESH: Reborn it's pretty cool
question. what mod is it thats changing your health color while having a number that tells how many bars you have?
also, i wonder if the umbrella mod that was made for vampirism can resist it. ima try next chance i get
This is more of a review than an analysis but good vid tho
Why is it converting Golems? It could not convert the Destroyer and the Destroyer *flew into the Sun* to directly combat the Corruption of Sol.
Ong CASSIE from SL made the announcement?
When what!!
Nah, I'd adapt.
Withering away reborn is a great mod maybe you could cover that one 1.20.1 does not have any animations.
Does having an invis status makes you immune to the melting since the light doesn't actually touch you?
are these scape and run sound effects😭😭
Can you try Fungal Infection: Spore its a really cool mod
Wood should burn in the day
