It appears that the mod is in its early stage, should it receive actual work and updates. I do believe in lore that heavy clothing can protect you from the sunlight. Variations as to what can be affected by 001 depends on from source, but typically it affect organisms. So robots for example should be fine? I would love to see more visual in this mod. So far it doesn't fee like "Day Breaks", rather, people are having sunburns. Nice exposition!
armor would actually stop the melting, it can literally be stopped by basic clothing but you have to cover pretty much 100% of your body, also golems an INORGANIC mob makes no sense to be affected by this, zombies probably wouldn't either since they're DEAD not alive
A guy shot himself in the head to prevent being mutated by Daybreak. It brought him into the sun and revived him. It doesn't care about the dead, only that it is meat.
@@misiosz1983 that was just in a single interpretation of the scp, not the original material. And zombies should still become part of it, they still have living organic matter in them, and in one story a guy shot himself but was resurrected when he was pulled into the sun.
i think they need to also make day break monster more slimy and sweating, dropping flesh drop. they also need to make the giant sludge start from normal size to giant size and when sludge merge they cause a explosion of blob that splash everywhere on the area. also extra, if you look at sun you melt even faster and every mob that is under the sun will release heat and release slimy flesh from their skin and once they turn into sludge instead of instantly turning in it without animation, they will grew smaller and turn into sludge they also need to add a feature where stage of sludge can be skip depending on how large the mob is

i'd like to point out that even when an affected person is removed from the sunlight, the melting effect should not stop and would continue to kill the person
Some things id like this to add is 1 - sluge drags players during the day and attacks at night 2 - things like golems, skeletons, and other stuff not "fleshy" or "organic" doesn't melt 3 - glass doesn't stop the melting effect 4 - sky and sun turns red
XCLU = Exclusive mob: Only found in special areas & doesn't spawn naturally(Elder Guardian, Shulker)/spawned by specific methods (Wither, Warden). Space = The size of the hitbox of a mob, whether it can fit through a 1 block gap or requires a large area to contain. KBR = Knock Back Resistance; how far a mob will be knocked back after attacking it. Also I didn't realize I make a typo to the rarity. It should say XCLU instead, my bad. All future videos will have the correct spelling for the rarity.
i would change how the blobs work to be more free-flowing masses than massive hulks that break things instead of climbing or squeezing into/onto/around
I'd love a modpack with this mod cranked up to 100. Get other SCP's in on this, give it a few tweaks (like golems being uneffected, or new cloth armor with the ability to out it under your regular armor, making moonlight dangerous, and a short grace period of like a day, and other small tweaks.
Easy sub. There is one thing about this mod that doesn't make sense. "The Golems." Yes, the sun can melt anything, even the warden, other anomalies, etc. But the sun cannot turn things that aren't flesh/fur into sludge. Golems are metal, meaning its a substance unable to be turned into sludge. If it were, things would be incredibly dangerous, due to the sun having to be hotter to melt the metal, meaning that wooden houses will catch fire, etc. But lets just say the wood is fire proof =D
So day breaks actually has you able to go out in sunlight. You just have to be covered head to toe. Therefore, it should let you go out in a full suit.
There should be a special potion to protect from melting and armor enchantment. Enchantment: UV Guard - Complete immunity from Daybreak, Not stackable with any of the resistances enchantments Potion: Ridescent - heavily reduces damage over time for 30 seconds
Idea: If you make it so that the nighttime also does damage (just not as much) but also make it so wearing armour or some special item eliminates all damage or at least decreases it. As well as adding more variations or interesting abilities of these mobs (not like medics and snipers, just more variation in general) would go a long way to making this mod pack EVEN cooler
General idea to make the sludge more dangerous, after they merge into a creature make them faster, giving the player less time to think and increasing the chances that they step into the sunlight while trying to escape.
I think it would be cool if it dropped sludge meat witch filled 3 hunger bars but gave you poison nausea and weakness because it’s lore that eating it is technically safe but still not good for you.
One complaint that some commenters probably haven't mentioned is that in the scp file it's said that on desperate occasions the sludge can be eaten shouldn't the sludge mobs drop at least some of the sludge that could be eaten if you get desperate during the event also if im not wrong plants can be melted and absorbed but i kinda get why it wasn't added for balancing but if it was added it would probably give a reason of why you would eat the sludge
It could just be them playing the part of "unsuspecting human" as the SCP foundation is secretive in nature and that the regular people who lives in the same universe as it have no idea of its existence. Or it could just be them actually having no clue either way it's great immersion ong.
i think that there should be more variations of flesh slobs, like 5 of those player-sized slobs should be able to form the big slob that 2 would normaly form, and 2 flesh slobs would become a medium flesh slob and so on
i was about to leave a comment suggesting being dragged outside like they do in the stories and documents as well as the night time being just as dangerous since the moon reflects the suns light but after opening the comments ive seen a few people have put that, i would also say get the leaves and grass to disappear as well, i understand the event isnt permanent but "when day breaks" affects all biological organisms, not just animals and creatures, i remember there being a story about someone going through a forest and walking through the melted leaves and grass was like walking through a marsh, i can understand adding something like that might be hard but its an added touch XD
You should make it so the sludge continues to get way bigger like I think if u could make like 3 more stages and the final one was like the size of a mountain that would be perfect and I’d love to make a vid on something like that
While I can accept/understand Undead Mobs being hurt by When Day Breaks I doubt that it would be able to affect creatures like the Copper Golem or the Iron Golem, they’re more machine than organic. I would understand if a Snow Golem could be affected.
Imagine if like, Other mobs would start attacking the sludges. Mainly pillagers. Since they witnessed their friends being transformed and would want to defend themselves from this threat.
This mod isn't 100% accurate to the actual, SCP as in most if not all cases, clothes (in MCs case armor) protects from sunlight due to their being a specific number of sunlight that needs to make contact with you, as well as they don't just turn to sludge, they can take humanoid form or and spread onto surfaces. Now, depending on what you take as cannon or not, here are some extra things, 1. In some cannons, Moonlight can infect as well, as moon light is just sunlight. 2. Anything LIVING can be affected, this included plant life.
@@goldenrose223 Clothes could protect from When Day Breaks but they had to completely cover the person's body. Minecraft's armor has huge gaps so it makes sense that it doesn't really do anything for you.
You should add that plants also mutant! Organic plants will melt into a green sludge, and become monsters as well, not sentient until they merge with flesh however!
IMO the SCP announcement would have been much creepier if instead of trying to sound intimidating, it was a purposefully emotionless robotic voice reciting a prerecorded message
I feel like this mod doesn't truly capture the horrifying essence of 001. 001 not only converts animals, but all living matter, including plants and fungi. Not to mention the sludges are sentient, and capable of mimicking voices to lure its victims. The scariest thing about 001 is not the possibility of death. Rather, the fear comes from knowing that you can't die, only live to suffer on as a mass of living matter, your own free will stripped from you. That is to say, this isn't a bad mod, I just don't believe it truly captures 001's horror. (Of course, doing so properly would not be easy given the format).
To everyone who says moonlight is dangerous in the original story: Yes, but this is a mod meant to be played. If you can never go out, you can't get anything done, and it destroys the game. You'd just have to hang out in a cave until the event ends or else die, which is zero fun and defeats the purpose of the mod. Not everything has to be one-to-one.
It would be cool if the Sludge tried to pull you into the sunlight instead like the actual story, only harming you if it's night.
Yeah, that should be what they primarily try to do, instead of simply trying to kill you. They should also target other mobs, and they should be able to break into shelters so that they can bring you and other mobs into the sunlight.

i really like how you keep using items and osts from previous mods
It appears that the mod is in its early stage, should it receive actual work and updates.
I do believe in lore that heavy clothing can protect you from the sunlight. Variations as to what can be affected by 001 depends on from source, but typically it affect organisms. So robots for example should be fine?
I would love to see more visual in this mod. So far it doesn't fee like "Day Breaks", rather, people are having sunburns.
Nice exposition!
001 melts only carbon based life forms, im story it not affected buildings or anything whan not animal
So long as those robots don't have a soul. SCP 173 got merked by the sun as soon as it stepped outside.
This mod has the same sounds as SRP...
Reminds me of that trouble "Dawn of The Flood" has.
Yeah it’s kinda weird
This is an interesting aspect ratio, great vid 🔥
This is such a clean editing and analysis
Ngl i love the editing style
armor would actually stop the melting, it can literally be stopped by basic clothing but you have to cover pretty much 100% of your body, also golems an INORGANIC mob makes no sense to be affected by this, zombies probably wouldn't either since they're DEAD not alive
it effects organics. zombies are organic and are made of flesh.
A guy shot himself in the head to prevent being mutated by Daybreak. It brought him into the sun and revived him. It doesn't care about the dead, only that it is meat.
Stuff with a soul are affected like the peanut and I think that the golems are sentient and have a soul
@@misiosz1983 that was just in a single interpretation of the scp, not the original material.
And zombies should still become part of it, they still have living organic matter in them, and in one story a guy shot himself but was resurrected when he was pulled into the sun.
@@leafy126.5If I recall correctly, he was pulled in too soon after the shot, so he didn't fully die yet.
i think they need to also make day break monster more slimy and sweating, dropping flesh drop.
they also need to make the giant sludge start from normal size to giant size and when sludge merge they cause a explosion of blob that splash everywhere on the area.
also extra, if you look at sun you melt even faster and every mob that is under the sun will release heat and release slimy flesh from their skin and once they turn into sludge instead of instantly turning in it without animation, they will grew smaller and turn into sludge
they also need to add a feature where stage of sludge can be skip depending on how large the mob is
When day shits
“Everyone will Melt!”
Creaking: “I’m I Joke To You?”
Your videos are so well done. You have earned a subscriber
SCP stands for "Secure Containment Protocol" and "Secure, Contain, Protect" and it's about anomalies. If I remember correctly, this one is because the sun got mad.
Edit: Not sentient, sorry.
Proposal for SCP-001,when day breaks, suns ultraviolet rays shift and begin transmuting any living flesh and melting it into each other as their molecular bonds become a suggestion
I'm not sure the Sun becomes sentient, but it does go very wrong
@@cosmopoiesecriandomundos7446yeah it goes wrong, like if it broke or something
@@cosmopoiesecriandomundos7446 well scp is mostly headcanon. There are stories saying that the sun is in fact a sentient being, like SCP-179. There are also stories contradicting that, so the understanding of each SCP depends sorely on your opinion.
"Secure, Contain, Protect" is the slogan the SCP foundation uses. When referring to an anomaly, it means "Secure Containment Protocol"
Cant come out during the day? Then ill come out during the night!
Local58: No you wont!
This is truly a 'bad' sun
Scp 001 only melt organic things which make golem invulnerable to the sun
One of the greatest scp 001 propositions
Another video from the goat!! Idk if you are able or if you want, but, Im developing a minecraft Infection mod called "Another Dimension Invasion", and I would like to know what do you think about it, for improvement, you can test it out camera if you want, hope you like it and keep like that man!
"Not sure who the SCP Foundation is"
You're going through a mod made after an SCP
The SCP foundation is a wiki about a fictional foundation that contains anomalies called SCP’s. The website allows creators to write their own SCP’s or stories about others, a lot of the stories are interesting.
i'd like to point out that even when an affected person is removed from the sunlight, the melting effect should not stop and would continue to kill the person
Some things id like this to add is
1 - sluge drags players during the day and attacks at night
2 - things like golems, skeletons, and other stuff not "fleshy" or "organic" doesn't melt
3 - glass doesn't stop the melting effect
4 - sky and sun turns red
Trees should also melt since it's organic matter (skeletons should just burn in both day and nighttime)
5- sunlight should be WAY more dangerous (in the source material its an instakill regardless of how much skin is exposed)
skeletons are organic
someone needs to explain what ANY of the things in the mob section mean😭
wth is a XLCU
am i just stupid??
XCLU = Exclusive mob: Only found in special areas & doesn't spawn naturally(Elder Guardian, Shulker)/spawned by specific methods (Wither, Warden).
Space = The size of the hitbox of a mob, whether it can fit through a 1 block gap or requires a large area to contain.
KBR = Knock Back Resistance; how far a mob will be knocked back after attacking it.
Also I didn't realize I make a typo to the rarity. It should say XCLU instead, my bad. All future videos will have the correct spelling for the rarity.
The sun is a deadly lazer has taken a literal meaning now
“When day breaks, we fix it.”
i would change how the blobs work to be more free-flowing masses than massive hulks that break things instead of climbing or squeezing into/onto/around
That's so much harder to animate
@weedGato true.
would be a great mod for genuinely hardcore survival modpacks.
🎶 “Here comes the sun, oh shit it’s SCP-001”🎶
My favorite version of SCP-001
Cool format
time for
THE
PIT.
But lets just say the wood is fire proof =D
it would be cool to make all organic blocks, wood, cacti, grass, into a sludge that traps you if you walk on it
Meanwhile: the pillagers are just chilling.
You should drop a mod list of all the other mods you used here, that roll and glider look cool
Make a cloak with less armor, it’s in the helmet slot and protects you via its own Durability
7:12 Poor crocodile and was scared of gaint sludge
I wish the mobs could keep combining infinitely
So day breaks actually has you able to go out in sunlight. You just have to be covered head to toe. Therefore, it should let you go out in a full suit.
The sun is so amazing today isn’t it?
Come outside and watch the sunrise with me…
I wish they could change like when you’re surrounded by certain natural light level, like under the sun only
This mod uses a lot of sounds used in scape and run: parasites, the best survival mod
"nothing can resist the melting effect" me with mahoragas wheel to adapt to the effect lol.
There should be a special potion to protect from melting and armor enchantment.
Enchantment: UV Guard - Complete immunity from Daybreak, Not stackable with any of the resistances enchantments
Potion: Ridescent - heavily reduces damage over time for 30 seconds
come with me, look at the sun, to see how glorious it is, is beautiful
Time for a better future, underground.
Leaves get melted but they do not join the mass. They kinda just stay as plants and act as they did before, just in some melted-wax form.
Dude covers a SCP mod and doesn't know what the SCP Foundation is
It could just be them playing the part of "unsuspecting human" as the SCP foundation is secretive in nature and that the regular people who lives in the same universe as it have no idea of its existence. Or it could just be them actually having no clue either way it's great immersion ong.
@DeusMachinaExecuted more like a "unsuspecting robot"
i think that there should be more variations of flesh slobs, like 5 of those player-sized slobs should be able to form the big slob that 2 would normaly form, and 2 flesh slobs would become a medium flesh slob and so on
i was about to leave a comment suggesting being dragged outside like they do in the stories and documents as well as the night time being just as dangerous since the moon reflects the suns light but after opening the comments ive seen a few people have put that, i would also say get the leaves and grass to disappear as well, i understand the event isnt permanent but "when day breaks" affects all biological organisms, not just animals and creatures, i remember there being a story about someone going through a forest and walking through the melted leaves and grass was like walking through a marsh, i can understand adding something like that might be hard but its an added touch XD
You should make it so the sludge continues to get way bigger like I think if u could make like 3 more stages and the final one was like the size of a mountain that would be perfect and I’d love to make a vid on something like that
that robot skin is adorable
While I can accept/understand Undead Mobs being hurt by When Day Breaks I doubt that it would be able to affect creatures like the Copper Golem or the Iron Golem, they’re more machine than organic. I would understand if a Snow Golem could be affected.
Imagine if like,
Other mobs would start attacking the sludges.
Mainly pillagers.
Since they witnessed their friends being transformed and would want to defend themselves from this threat.
Pov: slime: You can not hurt me, im already melted (scp 999 reference)
Honestly I didn't know about this SCP. Cool. Since you are doing SCPs, could you perhaps make an analysis for SCP-023?
Don't believe they have an up to date 023 mod
This mod isn't 100% accurate to the actual, SCP as in most if not all cases, clothes (in MCs case armor) protects from sunlight due to their being a specific number of sunlight that needs to make contact with you, as well as they don't just turn to sludge, they can take humanoid form or and spread onto surfaces.
Now, depending on what you take as cannon or not, here are some extra things,
It's funny how he doesn't know what the SCP foundation is yet his channel is almost the embodiment of it for mods, save for containing them.
I would be interested to know what mods/modpack you are using that adds all that extra stuff besides the mod you're showcasing
You should add that plants also mutant! Organic plants will melt into a green sludge, and become monsters as well, not sentient until they merge with flesh however!
the Sludges should Drop things that allow you to Craft Equipment,
if only my ears didnt implode from the giant beeping between each text transition
IMO the SCP announcement would have been much creepier if instead of trying to sound intimidating, it was a purposefully emotionless robotic voice reciting a prerecorded message
How does earth survive against scp’s when this can happen
Vampires:I do this shit daily
I had a dream of this mod without be knowing if it real
When day breaks (that what i call is:SCP 001:D)
Imma adapt to the challange
with every infection as a side challange as well (another to add to my “OOPS-ALL-INFECTIONS” mod pack)
And clothing DOES stop the effect and it only happens when it touches exposed skin
0:51 theres no way they used cassie's voice
Yeah I noticed that too I think the dev just used the console and took it straight out of the game
I think that they should add a form between the 2nd a 3rd monster, and maybe an even bigger monster as a boss
Golems melting is weird
IMMERSIVE AIRCRAFT I can’t play any mod without it
I feel like this mod doesn't truly capture the horrifying essence of 001. 001 not only converts animals, but all living matter, including plants and fungi.
Hey man cool mod! But i think it would be better to make the sludge monsters bloody red
