The 1700 Nomad is different than the 1500's. While they are not the same you will love the 6 speed transmission. You should come by and take a test drive. Thanks for watching!
Having rode both, can you give me your take on how the later model 1700's compare to the '05+ 1500's? I had a 1500 Classic for years and I really miss that bike...wanted to replace it but I'm wondering if I should look at the 1700, the nomad package really makes the 1700 look "right", I thought something was missing in Classic trim.
Have you ever riden a bike with floor boards and the heel toe shifter? The majority of riders love the floorboards and the heel toe shifter. It is OK if you don't care for them. I was just wondering if you have ever tried them.
Any difference in sound from the previous slashed muffleres compared to the 2011 change to cone style mufflers? My neighbors 2010 is pretty quiet all around with the slash style muffer.
It would have been an even better presentation if you cranked it up and let us hear what it sounds like! For all we know, it doesn't even turn over. Just sayin!
I have watched this video a half a dozen times lol. I just bought this exact year and color for $5500 with 8600 miles and I absolutely love it.
How do you like the bike? Here to find info on a 2012 as well. Any issues with these bikes or things to look for?
I test drove one and cruised at 120 mph, no sweat. Great bike. Lots of power.

Yeah, I goof sometimes. I don't think I would really want my passenger shifting gears for me. Thanks for watching!

I think it was brand new. Starting might put off the buyer.
Sadly Kawasaki quite making this version. I would still rather have shaft drive.
I like it
too much wind noise hitting the mic; not easy to listen to.
Still for sale after seven years? Mainland Cycle should take these vids down from time to time.
I'm happy it's here. It looks great. It shows how this bike looked when new to anyone who's interested.
