      yes you are right bro but most of the time we need to step down so the buck is used more further improved version can have boost as well

      @@TechnoEveryday not at all, there are 2 types of mppt charge controllers, 1)boost type where your battery voltage is higher than the solar voltage and 2) buck type where is your battery voltage is lower than the solar, it is commonly used. With mppt you don't need to worry about your sunlight, the mppt algorithm handles everything, it's not like this simple boost converter where solar voltage drops with load.

      @@TechnoEveryday the funny thing is every controller uses pwm, the pwm controller you are talking about it uses pwm with mosfets to control the output, but it still has high voltage ripples, while a buck converter is the same as that but it uses an inductor on output to clear those ripples.

    Unfortunately , if you analyse the code , you will find that this is not MPPT but only basic PWM charge algorithm.

    Sir, how does the arduino nano gets it's power? Vin of the arduino nano is not connected!
    You call this a mppt, but in the source code it's clearly just a pwm.

      vi is +ve and -ve supply and vo is +ve and 0v supply arduino is drive with +ve and 0v

      mppt pots are to calibrate the charger for bat volt and pv volt

    Nice video layout. And then, try next. ;)
    Follows the topology I'm doing on mine.
    I ve added thermal fan control. I've a bigger inductor too.
    Rather than the components for the IC buck I use a mt106 mini.
    I've not used trim pots as I'm going to hard code tune on dividers.
    I also made mine modular, the buck is separate to the control and measures as I can best control the heat, it's a 1.5kw mppt.
    I didn't use the asc712 as those tiny pins and big current would just blow, so got its big brother.

    my request, given the load terminal .. and when the solar panel voltage is there, the load will be transferred all to the solar panel. and when the solar panel voltage is low or off, it will be taken from the battery without a break.. maybe this needs a relay and a little additional coding..

    in circuit all module provide 5v supply from nano but nano is not provided any supply. no vin pin 30 connected or not 5v regulator provide in circuit?

    The circuit I saw on the diagram can never work! The diodes are simply blocking the positive supply of the solar panels.

      The 20100 diodes can only pass current if it is a common anode diode else it will block the current from the solar panel.
      Secondly, the gate triggering signal of the mosfet is the negative supply of the battery via the opto-coupler. The MOSFET IRF3710 will never conduct.

      @@AugustineAriola There are no 20100 Diodes in the schematic diagram, that is attached to this video. I see 2 x MBR 2045 CT diodes and they are wired correctly. Follow the schematic diagram.

      r16 an 14 are not necessary they are 100r ohms j6 is for esp1 the next upcoming version would have wifi so it is for that
